HELP ME report Changelly Pro, they stole 12,340 dogecoins from me!

When I opened my account on Changelly, I said I didn't want KYC as a security method, and the customer service rep told me that I wouldn't have to use it and that I could deposit my doge without any problems.

Well... I've been trying to withdraw my dogecoins for a week now, and the platform isn't doing anything and isn't even responding to me anymore. The last time this happened was with Mercatox, and they returned the money. I recommend that everyone here report it to Google. I'm going to do what I did before: go to the local police in their country of residence, go to the police in my country to contact the police in their country, and detail every action!

Although I reluctantly sent the documents required for identity verification, they have been under review for a week now.

Do not waste your time with Google at all.

The best that you can do is to threaten them with lawsuit if the money is huge and if it is worth it.

This has been the way the site and ChangeNow which is their brother has been scamming people. I was using the exchanges before but I have stopped that since I know more about people complaining about them.

How do you want to go about this kind of report? Google doesn’t take this seriously, unless there is a high number of people doing this at the same time to send the report to the exchange.

This type of attitude is no longer new to Changelly. They are known for asking for KYC verification just after you have completed your deposit and, based on past reports which have been made against them on the forum, they also have the habit of not responding to support.

We should be aware from the beginning that these exchanges are not KYC free. If we want to use any of such services, we should not believe what their customer support promises us: It’s best to pass KYC before depositing if you must use the service, but that still does not guarantee that they can’t freeze your coin.

Always read the terms of service and do not rely on what the support tell you. Better still, since you had a bad experience in the past with another exchange, the first thing I would have done if I were you would be to read the different reviews about Changelly on Reddit, this forum and other forums out there. There are a lot of complaints about them freezing people's money.

I am just curious, What reason did they give you for freezing your transaction?

Pretty bad. Why did you use a centralized exchange? Most of the exchanges right now are asking for KYC. If you are not KYC verified, you won't be able to withdraw them. Some exchanges will allow you to withdraw, like Binance, but for Changelly they freeze your funds.
I heard several reports here and outside of this forum about using Changelly, so you are not the only one experiencing the same thing, but the problem is I never heard if Changelly refunded them.

Have you tried contacting them via their social media accounts?
It's public, and more people are able to see your post; try Reddit or their X account.
All their social media accounts are on the home page at the bottom.

They claim that KYC is necessary because it allows them to identify who took the cryptocurrencies in the event of a scam. Now it has been proven that this is a lie.

Trust me, I don't think reporting Google Safe Browsing did the trick last time round. Mercetox probably acted due to a different reason. Google Safe Browsing is mostly effective against phishing or clone sites, and we all know that Changelly is not a phishing site.
However, you could try making noise allover Reddit, x.com, different forums until you get noticed and helped. You just have to hope that they still have a bit of shame to care about their reputation.

And having been a dedicated user in the past 5-10 years of using  Changelly and these continued reports littered all over the internet of them not paying out keeps getting scary... If this trend continues, I think centralised exchanges will likely be a no go area because these guys almost answer to no one and we are at their mercy which sucks, time to embrace decentralised exchanges.
