Weiss.bet - negative experience and possible scam

I wanted to share my negative experience with using weiss.bet casino to warn other users of potential issues they can experience while using this website.

I lost small amount of funds there, but it can be warning to others because my loss of funds revealed some issues that can cost someone else thousands.

First of all I encountered this casino when I won their BTC price prediction contest.

After winning the competition reward was deposited on my account. After that I noticed that couldn't withdraw button was unavailable and that on withdrawal menu there was no information about minimum withdrawal limits.

There was only information that I need to deposit more funds in order to withdraw what I already had on account.


That is first thing that should trigger my internal alarm, but I just proceeded.

As there was no information about minimum withdrawal limits I had to contact their customer support, where they told me that minimum withdrawal limit is 50 USDT.

Then I realised that, in order to withdraw my prize I'll have to make deposit, wager the deposit and only then withdraw it alltogether.

My next question for customer support was how much wagering was required for new deposit in order to withdraw it and their answer was that all deposits should be wagered once.

I also asked if all games count towards wagering requirement equally. Their answer was positive, so I deposited around 50 USDT and planned to wager it and withdraw it along with my prize.

After wagering around 20 USDT on dice game ("Robo dice") I noticed that there is no information about wagering progress anywhere, so again I had to ask customer support to give me correct information. To my surprise they told me that I wagered only 1 USDT. At first I thought it was lag in the system and that I'll have to wait a little for system to update my progress and I continued with my wagering. When I was 100% sure that I wagered more than 50 USDT (I counted every bet) I tried to make withdrawal but it rejected.

I asked customer support again what is the issue with withdrawals and they told me that I wagered my funds using "systems" and my wagering will not be taken in account.

In all that wagering I lost all prize funds and was left only with my 50 USDT that I deposited in order to get the prize.

Then again I had to contact their customer support as the reason of rejection of withdrawal was not defined.

Their answer was that I can't withdraw it because I was using "strategies" and I should wager in principles of "even game" and that my wager so far will not be taken in account. They also added that I can complete my wagering by playing slot games and that I have take in account "principles of fair play". They also ignored my questions to direct me to the rules and to explain what they mean by "strategies" and what does it mean to play "fair play" on dice game.



After that I tried to play slots, lost prize funds and was left only with my deposit which I deposited in order to withdraw prize in first place. I thought that I can at least withdraw my own funds at least, but my withdrawal was denied again. After that moment I was completely sure I lost my deposited funds. It felt like elaborate scheme of "Nigerian prince" scam after that, where you have to send scammer money to unlock the bank account and be "rewarded"

After all of that customer support asked me to go trough KYC process, which I was nof feeling comfortable to do - if they play games like that to get 50 USDT who knows what they do with my private information?

I consider all funds deposited as lost and one more lesson learned, not to deposit anything to casinos I don't have positive experience with.

So in short these are red flags on Weiss.bet casino and be very careful if you plan to deposit anything there:
   1. There is no transparent way to know some basic information  like minimum withdrawal limits and wagering progress
   2. Arbitrary accusation of using "strategies" in playing casino games (whatever that means)
   3. Arbitrary deciding which bets count toward wagering progress and which don't
   4. Misleading information from customer support before depositing funds

I had luck that I wasn't burned too bad, but I can imagine someone depositing few hundred or thousand in crypto and then be unable to withdraw his winnings because customer support didn't like his betting strategies.

I don't expect to receive my funds back as I'm aware who I'm dealing with, just want others to learn from my mistake and be aware of red flags this casino has.

If you were one of the winners of their BTC price prediction contest, how does it make any sense that you’d have to deposit funds in order to withdraw your prize? This is very strange. Also, what strategies did they accuse you of using? They should have clarified this to provide more transparency instead of using vague excuses to deny your withdrawal.

I am Gosu there, and I have almost 60k WEFT tokens. I believe it will be funny when I decide to cash them out because I am sure there will be some little tricks & rules about it... But I will deal with it when the time comes.

So, I doubt it's a scam... I think that the support agent mixed up casinos in his mind, and he didn't know how to give you the right answer...  they are all idiots, as it seems. Among other things, I had a "thing" with poker (you can check the Wiess ANN thread), and their support acted so stupidly that I decided to stop playing after that...

By the way... I am not a guy who likes to read ToS, but luckily, there are others (many forum members & BTCGosu, for example) who are more detailed, and before registering, they check ToS. And I believe that even I mentioned a few times that Weiss is KYC mandatory in their ANN thread.

I found in their bonus terms that bets on Dice contribute 5% toward the wagering requirement. So, this is probably why the support agent told you that you had wagered only $1 while you had actualy wagered $20.
Did you make low-risk bets (bets with high winning odds)?
Also, according to their terms, Kyc is mandatory before you can withdraw.

They should have been more transpaent on their contest announcement and made it clear that winners need to make a deposit and complete the wagering requirement before being able to withdraw. However, I believe the reward should have been credited to winners account as real money not as a bonus.

i literally have won multiple contests on different casinos (on the forum and outside the forum), and i would just bet on dice with $0.01 on a 98% chance to clear the wager to be able to withdraw if i wasn't feeling like playing.

the bets from your 50 USDT deposit should have counted at 1:1, i mean, their own terms say that.

I don't expect that I'll have any of the funds back, but I'm curious to hear if there are any excuses for big lack of transparency. To be honest I felt like they cheated me because they told me one thing before deposit, and after I deposited funds they changed the story completely. And there was no clear information about important things that should be clear in every casino, I had to contact customer support for every bit of information. This just feels like a scam.

It is normal that casinos have minimum withdrawal limit, it depends on cryptocurrency customer is using but at  most casinos/sportsbooks I used it is around 20 USDT. Sometimes I also had to deposit my own funds in order to meet minimum withdrawal requirements on other casinos too, but I don't find that part problematic. My main issue is lack of transparency and dishonesty as well as arbitrary accusations.

I got the feeling that that guy at customer support was annoyed by me asking questions and he decided to "punish" me with kyc obligation. There is no chance I'm giving my personal information to that scam casino, who knows maybe they sell it and even if they don't who can guarantee safety of collected data when even their customer support give false and conflicting information.

In all casinos I previously played it doesn't matter which game you play as long as you wager the deposit 1x it should be ready for withdrawal. I think this is because some law against money laundering. But I felt something was off from the beginning, thats why I asked them direct question if all the games contribute towards the wagering. If they were honest from the beginning I would have avoided depositing anything and just have left prize funds untouched or tried to multiply them on games.

Thank you for the clarification. You said the withdrawal button was grayed out, so I thought you had received the reward as a bonus. The withdrawal limit is also too high compared to their competitors, so this is another thing they need to fix (not to mention the withdrawal delays that iv4n complained about).

Someone posted the link to this thread in their announcement thread. Hopefully, they will read it and come here to clear this up. The least they could do is to refund you the $50 you deposited.

When it comes to wagering your deposit, it should count the wager from all the games. But when it comes to wagering the bonus amount, most casinos count only 10% or 20% of the wagering from the dice or in-house games. Also, some casinos count 50% of the wagering from the table games and live games. But they do count 100% from the slot games. So it is strange that weiss.bet says the player only wagered 1 USDT after wagering $20 USDT. Also, they count 20% for a reason. It is because the player can use the "Wagering" strategy (Aim to wager only) to complete the wager. So instead of complaining that the player used strategy, they just should say that we counted 5% of your wager from the dice game.

I don't really expect them to send me back my funds, I also spent some of deposit on slots and I have less than minimum withdrawal requirement. I also don't plan to do kyc so I doubt they'll send me back funds without that.

Weiss.Bet broke its own rule regarding deposit requirements. In their Bitcoin prediction contest, it says that no deposit is required. If they ask you for a deposit, they were lying and they aren't respecting their own rule. They might play word games here and attempt to make it sound like you don't have to deposit in order to participate in the competition, but that makes no sense. Why would you need to deposit to participate in a free competition?! It's free.

About the wagering requirements.
It's sad, but you shouldn't trust what costumer support tells you. Casinos hire the cheapest people, pay them badly, and some have no idea what they are doing. They can handle only the common and simple tasks. A casino's terms and conditions have priority over the words of a support rep. If I were to look in the TOS, I am sure I would find that different games contribute differently to the bonus wagering requirements. What the support agent told you is wrong.

Your real money deposit must be wagered before withdrawal. That's normal. It's usually 1x on casino games. For sports betting, this can be anywhere from 0.5x to 3x in some bookies. Unless they have some weird rules limiting you how you wager your real money, you should be able to play with it any way you want. Different game contributions that apply to bonus money shouldn't apply to real money deposits unless stated differently in the terms.

Regarding KYC.
They don't mention the need for KYC in their contest thread, but they also don't say that it's not needed. They wouldn't want to mention that it's mandatory because that would limit the number of players that participate in the contest. If the casino's T&Cs mention they are mandatory for withdrawals, then sadly you have to accept that.

I contacted them yesterday, but they still haven't replied, even though they're active on the forum. They also didn't pay attention to what @examplens and @iv4n posted in their announcement thread.

Their delay in resolving the issue is making the problem worse and could affect their reputation on the forum. If they don't respond in four hours (until the 24-hour period is complete), I'll tag their account. I'm not against them as a company, but against their delay, lack of engagement with the issue, and failure to answer the questions raised here.
