Thank you both @KTChampions and @buwaytress for your very detailed explanations in other thread where it was locked so I reply here I honestly did not really notice it much, but usually I guess I do not look so much for high odds,,, and I assumed Manchester City odds for example are just lower because they do not seem capable to get 100 points per season any more.

Go back 10 years, leea-1334, and you will see how value has been deliberately slashed by an impossible amount. Remember Leicester City 5000/1? This was for a team that finished 14th the season prior.

In the 25/26 season, you could only get max 1000/1 if using specific book promos for a similar team (one that survived relegation in previous season). Now check the odds for next season. Highest is only 750/1 (Sunderland). Odds for the newly-promoted teams? 2000/1 and 3000/1.

Believe me, these odds will keep shrinking every season. That's why we talk about value less often now. Very sad.

I would have opted for 2-1 myself, but I'm so happy that being extremely busy last week saved me. I would have lost a $50 straight winning for PSG. I wasn't thinking straight due to busy schedules throughout the week until I was hearing noises from the game section of the mega-retailer I was in. I really need to spend more freebets on odds that are a tad more realistic, but even at the odds I snatched for Zverev, I thought was still very low -- as it turns out, 5 minutes pre-match barely scratching 12/10, I guess I got pretty decent numbers.
