We can only say million times again that all of us are different. All of us act differently under influence of alcohol. Some people turn into wild animals, some stay boring person as they were, some turn into heroes and high risk bets looks like minor risk bets. I think everyone would agree if I say that under influence of alcohol, it somehow considered that we are more lucky. I believe that most jackpots and huge wins were done by accident, totally unexpected, in a situation when we suppose to end gambling, but we continue playing. Alcohol is only one of the reasons why we continue gambling.

Oh man, mixing booze and blackjack is a recipe for disaster, like that one time my buddy got so hammered at the tables he started confidently betting what he thought were dollar chips, but they were actually the hundred-dollar ones. Yeah, I have gambled while drunk, and yes, I've done it when gambling in a physical casino and online. There is really nothing wrong with it if you only do it once in a while and your goal is to have fun. But if you do it often, it could end in disaster.

Yes, it did change the way I place bets. I became bolder with my bets and made more mistakes, and yes, I mostly lost(there are times that I won too), but it was fun.

the reality is that at least 60% of gamblers drinks and some addicted ones are also addicted to gambling. regardless of how many times we still talk about this, addiction is addiction and whatever form it takes, be it gambling or alcohol, they are still very bad. being a gambling addict will affect you financially, emotionally and wreck you. combining that lifestyle with alcohol is going to worsen things up for you and get you into a mess you will struggle a lifetime to come out of. every thing we do requires an high level of moderation or else, ruin becomes inevitable.

I can't think of gambling when am drunk because I know that I will end up making a huge mistake that I will later regret. However I have seen people that gambles when they got drunk , they only end up staking more than what they can afford to lose which there actions was influenced by alcohol. I also love to concentrate and stay focused, that's why when I'm a gambler I can never play when I'm drunk, for me it's a moment of high concentration and dedication to maximize the win, I understand that for many people alcohol is the reason why they gamble but I prefer to do it when I'm absolutely lucid and concentrated

Nope, I didn't even want to try. Sure is a recipe for disaster if both of it are combined. I think in the usual local gambling shops, this can happen and allowed by the others.

And it also adds thrill to them even if they're on that condition because they have the money. It makes them more courageous but once they're left with nothing, they go back to their own senses.

I have been drunk before and I can tell that it will be a disaster if I gamble at that moment. You cannot concentrate or organise your thoughts if you are under the influence of alcohol. For me, gamblers should be encouraged to be conscious while gambling because it involves money. A single mistake could lead to a big loss. Moderate drinking while gambling is not bad but it shouldn't be a lifestyle because even a small alcohol consumption could make one make mistakes.

I don't drink, I never have, but I've seen it up close, or rather, I see it up close every day, the disaster that becomes when people who are playing slots consume alcohol while they are playing. They completely lose control of themselves, they start insulting the machines. Yes, I said that right, they keep insulting the slot machines.

It seems like they've forgotten that those machines talk and have done it on purpose to make them lose, while that's not true; the machines don't think. But unfortunately, when people are under the influence of alcohol, they commit the worst atrocities. They fight with anyone who advises them to moderate their drinking when they are playing. What I've seen is frightening. That's why I always stay away from slot machines in my country.

Like you said, when you are drunk you lose that fear of losing, for some people this works positively for them sometimes because the fear of losing is also a reason why people end in losses especially when playing casino games. They get scared or hesitant to make a decision, this makes them miss the right timing. But alcohol affects your sense of judgment and this is only going to cause more disaster when gambling

If you're looking for entertainment rather than profit, I don't think gambling while drunk is a bad idea. That's what most of my friends do while drinking with me, and we don't expect to win a lot; if we win half of what we deposit, we'll withdraw and use the money to buy more rum.

I still see the chances of winning not too high. Gambling needs good decision making and after being drunk, it will reduce any chances of that happening. I feel even if you’re gambling for entertainment, seeing yourself losing money will only make you sad the more. I don’t buy the idea of drinking while gambling but if it works for some people then it’s fine. Gambling is very time demanding when it comes to the decision making aspect, so it looks very unlikely that gambling while drinking can make you profitable to any extent whatsoever.

Firstly, I quit both smoking and drinking at the same time, which was almost 15 years ago, so I have not drunk and gambled at the same time. However, I have witnessed some people who are drunk and gamble at the same time who win something big, while some end up making a wrong decision when gambling due to being tipsy

gambling alone is already risky!! but drinking while gambling even makes it much worse because alcohol lowers your control and clear thinking. many people lose more money than they planned just because they were drunk while playing like honestly a drunkard is a man or a woman with half of their brain functioning. being addicted to gambling or alcohol alone is bad enough but mixing both can quickly destroy your money, relationships and even your health. that is why it is important to have self control and if you struggle with either one the safest choice is to never mix them at any cost.

Congratulations on your success in quitting smoking and alcohol completely, as I haven't been able to quit completely, despite my best efforts, especially cigarettes.
It's true that some gamblers win when drunk. But only slightly drunk, as some gamblers also find it easier to concentrate when slightly intoxicated. However, don't overdo it, as excessive intoxication will definitely interfere with your game, causing drowsiness and loss of focus. Those who lose are likely due to excessive alcohol consumption, but gambling in a normal and healthy state is a good thing. However, with what I mentioned, there are gamblers who are like that.

There is a reason why alcoholic drinks are always given out to gamblers in casinos for free, it's a strategy of the casino to keep people gambling. Alcohol affects your cognitive reasoning and most times can make you do things that are not logical. If you are in your right senses there are some amounts you wouldn't even dare to lose but alcohol makes you numb to reasoning, this can pushes you to make careless decisions

I guess drinking alcohol moderately may not be that bad, but when you become drunk while gambling continuously, that’s where misery starts to happen. It happened to me one or twice I think, and the outcomes were definitely undesirable. It’s like I lose too much, something that I don’t know how. But the fact that it gave me a headache after, that only means that it shouldn’t be an ideal thing to do.

It’s okay to drink, but always know your limits. Otherwise, if you gamble while drinking a lot, the feeling is high, until you realized in the end you lose all the funds you’ve got, which is definitely an amount that you can’t afford to lose.

You made agreat point, and I absolutely agree with you, combining alcohol with gambling is a dangerous mix, which might end up with pain and regrets, especially when one doesn’t understand their limits. Alcohol, even in small amounts, has a way of affecting the human system negatively, tho some alcohol are medicinal cru but most of they affect the body system negatively and when gambling is added to the mix, it often leads to poor decisions and reckless bets.
The problem here Is just that gambling already requires discipline, and self control and alcohol does the opposite. It gives a false sense of confidence, and can make losses feel less serious for that moment when on it, which leads to even riskier behavior.
Your advice is actually good, know your limits If one must drink, do it after gambling or in a social setting where no money is at stake.
