Nobody gets drunk to be on their right senses. You will be first disorganized in whatever thing you are doing. That's why we have to avoid being drunk because we will be under its influence to do what we wouldn't like to do with our clear thoughts.

I’ve been through that before, and honestly, it’s something you really shouldn’t do. Even the most disciplined gamblers lose control when they mix alcohol and gambling, and end up betting recklessly.

Just holding yourself back from betting more is already tough enough for anyone gambling. And some people lose control even without drinking. So yeah, I totally agree with you, gambling while drunk is basically a disaster waiting to happen for any gambler.

Yeah, I’ve tried it a couple of times and it definitely changes things. You feel more confident but make way worse decisions. For me it always led to bigger losses, so I avoid mixing alcohol with gambling now, it’s just not worth it....

You are right, the casino basically follows all these rules for its own protection, people drink alcohol while gambling in the casino and get drunk, then they are removed from the bet because they have lost control over themselves while drinking, it is assumed that they are sick, so they are removed from the bet. However, not all casinos follow these rules, many times it is seen that gamblers are gambling in the casino despite being drunk, they are not removed, in this way a person loses self-control over himself, as a result, the casino owner benefits, that is why they are not stopped or removed.

You have to be very careful with alcohol and gambling, because it's actually quite easy and harmless to grab a few beers to unwind on a weekend and play the slots. But as alcohol gradually clouds our judgment, we stop setting limits on our gambling, and if we start losing, we might make another deposit to continue, because we'll desperately want to win no matter what. Understanding all this, I never even consider gambling and alcohol to be compatible. Yes, you are right, drinking alcohol while gambling is not a good idea at all unless you are serious about gambling. Alcohol often lowers inhibitions & temporarily impairs our judgment. So drinking alcohol while gambling increases your chances of betting more and bigger and making stupid moves.

In my observations, I have seen that intoxicated gamblers take more risks & chase losses, which leads to their bets being higher & the results being worse. So, I would say don't drink & gamble at the same time. Yes, it may sound obvious, but it is surprising how many people have learned the hard way, so be careful, not lazy. I also believe that nothing good can come from alcohol because we can't fully understand our actions. Even if we're lucky enough to win a large sum, we're simply capable of acting irrationally when under the influence. Therefore, we can lose a large win and not even immediately remember it the next morning. Neither on online casinos or brick and mortar casinos, honestly, because I believe there is a very good reason casinos offer their gamblers free drinks now and then then they spend some time on their facilities, because it is obvious it becomes way easier for gamblers to lose more money to the house when they are no fully aware of what they do and they lose sense of the value of money or value of chips.

In the future, then online gambling becomes even more established and it is more normalized in society, it would be common for people to receive deliveries of booze to their addresses once they have managed to wage a certain amount of money. Yes, I've gambled while drinking alcohol, but not drunk. It's a very bad idea, but I know there are a lot of people who do it, especially in brick-and-mortar casinos. I don't see myself drinking and playing online. I don't see the point in drinking while locked within four walls.

Interesting question. I think if the casino had a good reputation, they might have restrained the heavily intoxicated person from betting. But we know that people under the influence of alcohol tend to be stubborn, so there's a chance he'd throw a tantrum if he wasn't allowed to bet. The casino might be more assertive and call security. Because you're right, a heavily intoxicated person might gamble without thinking about the risks, but sometimes they can make things uncomfortable.
