Drinking alcohol and gambling can become a disaster and people should not ever think of gambling while they are drinking. They could mistakenly gamble with all their bankroll which can lead to more severe outcome by they time they realized what they have done with their own hands. Taking alcohol is not bad but when you are taking it while doing something that involves finance should not be encouraged because of the consequences it can cause us as a result of our foolishness. Just like drinking while driving is bad, we should also avoid drinking while gambling.

Combining gambling and drinking is a very risky move, first of all we all have to know that drinking alcohol and getting drunk affects the four front part of the human brain which plays a role in decision making, as a result will lead to regrettable loss of money as a result of the decision of a drunk individual, and to make it worst when one is drunk he or she will lose track of time at money which will make the individual play without calculate funds available. until you have no money left. Ah, but combining anything with drinking is a bad choice. Not just gambling, betting or playing cards. Even trivially driving and drinking don't go together, or even being with your woman and drinking don't go together. Anything along with drinking is not good. If one has to drink, just do that and that's it. This is my opinion as a person who doesn't drink.

I have never become normal again after taking a sip of alcohol, I always become paralysed in the brain like I am on some kind of drug, and after several attempts I decide to stop finally.

I can't phantom doing two things at the same time like gambling and drinking, how will this end well? The result is obvious that I will do everything wrong, a drunk driver can't drive anymore, many who have done it are already dead.

Alcohol is bad especially if you are not from a always cold weather country like the Iceland, people don't know that alcohol is best for cold continents because they need to stay warm but today many are abusing it.

If you're looking for entertainment rather than profit, I don't think gambling while drunk is a bad idea. That's what most of my friends do while drinking with me, and we don't expect to win a lot; if we win half of what we deposit, we'll withdraw and use the money to buy more rum.

Yes, I agree that gambling with alcohol can be a recipe for disaster, unconsciousness due to the influence of alcohol is the main factor in this and it is true that when our brain is unconscious, we usually make various actions and decisions without any consideration, so there is a big possibility for us to bet large amounts without thinking, I have also heard news about someone who gambled while drunk, when he realized he cried because all the money in his account was gone, so it is better to avoid anything that can intoxicate when you are gambling.

In addition to gambling, excessive drinking impairs cognitive function and can lead to reckless behaviour.  It's also risky to gamble while intoxicated for entertainment purposes because it might result in large losses. 


While drinking in moderation isn't always a bad idea when gambling, becoming wasted is a terrible idea, and I strongly advise against it because you might regret it later.

Definitely a bad combo , imagine doing both simultaneously. Getting stress from gambling and same time not thinking straight , some folk will belike it help them to over come the stress of losing . Most time given them boldness to a default, taken irrelevant risk that they will later regret after the alcohol eventually wore out . Well, that's our habit. I understand that we can go on a losing streak, but there is a limit and we must stop when the entire capital has been lost. It's just part of our habit, but it doesn't always happen. When our topic is boring, we'll gamble with the extra money. We already know how risky it is, so we treat it as a hobby and don't expect to make a profit, but if we're lucky, we'll withdraw half of the total capital and use it to buy more booze.

Absolutely right, so heavy drinkers should stay away from gambling. Casinos and betting are dangerous for many sober people because they have weak character, and if such people start drinking, it will only lead to disaster. Unfortunately, such people often don't listen to anyone, and in this case, their stubbornness works against them. It's amazing how casinos can test people's character.

It's just that some people just like being stubborn and disregarding the things which they have been advised to stop based on how it reacts in them and how uncontrollable it can make them be. It releases different emotions whenever we take alcohol into our system. Some are angry while others become down. I have been drunk many times, and I could tell that it can cause bad effects to people. If you combine that with gambling, that is chaos. Because we tend to be too courageous whenever we take alcohol, and there's a possibility that we don't think twice anymore, we will keep on gambling until our money is gone.

If it cannot be prevented, I suggest doing it one at a time. Drink alcohol without gambling or gamble without drinking alcohol.

Some will just get drunk and sleep there or get drunk and get into a flight or just cry their heart out. Either way, gambling while drunk is a bad choice. You will make wrong decisions, emotionally fired decisions and it will leads to losses no matter what you do.

I really dont see the "lone wolf" type personas in gambling, most will sulk after getting a bad game, try to ask around for money and get thrown out. That probably exists only in Hollywood movies where a suit comes in and breaks the casino on the poker table, not happening in reality.

By drinking moderalty I'm sure you mean small amounts  but it's not always about the quantity...There are some liquors that are highly intoxicating and even when take moderately they can still make a person lose control of their actions...knowing your limits and drinking moderately is good but it's important to know what you are drinking as well, smell it if you have to just to be on the safe side, it's possible for drinks to be spiked

Alcohol should be a no go area for everyone because what you said above is very true about alcohols. It depends on the kind of liquor involved as some you only need to take just a sip and it will get you knocked out. That is not something that is advisable in all ramifications. I don't think I will ever want to advise anyone to engage in taking alcohol regardless of the quantity because it takes you out of your consciousness and takes control over your abilities.

It does not have any health benefits to me because the negative effects of alcohol has already overtaken the good side of it if at all there's one. I don't look at combining alcohol and gambling as the best practice but I can say they both have the tendency of working hand in hand because there are some gambling you do not want to engage in when you are in your right senses considering the amount of risk involved.

It does not give any health, but some doctors suggest to drink a glass of wine regularly or cognac, because it makes blood flow faster. Dont you think that is a benefit? Some studies also claim that moderate drinking decreases a bit risk of diabetes. That is not a call to start drinking, but in a way it helps. When being sick, doctors suggest to drink more liquid to help body «clean» faster. Hot tea for example when having fever or high temperature. That does not make tea as a drink that makes you healthy. Consider alcohol, be same liquid. Some people even suggest to drink beer to clean stones from kidneys. For some people, a little bit of alcohol makes them more relaxed. In a stressed situation, such as gambling, one drink my even help.

I believe you mean partially drunk because if you're truly drunk, I bet you wouldn't remember how many times you have played drunk and how many you've won out of it. Gambling and drinking are two things that shouldn't come close to each other unless you want to useless your life because it's obvious the outcome will eventually make your life useless. Personally, I can never dare to try it out because I see it as a suicide mission. If I should put myself in your shoes, I will lose the 5 out of 5 regardless of how much I try to compose myself. This is absolutely not allowed. Any form of gambling requires focus and patience to achieve a profit, so it won't happen if you're under the influence of alcohol. Drinking alcohol while gambling is a very wrong move and should never be done.
I think movies only have a negative influence on us, and we end up losing; that's truly bizarre.
We must also remember that our goal in gambling is to have fun and make a profit, so these goals must be achieved through proper means.

Gambling and alcohol don't work together, but I don't know why they still offer alcoholic drinks in places where gambling takes place, knowing fully well that a player being in too much of that substance can lose control over the king or game decisions he makes. Not that they force players to drink, but alcohol should not just be present when someone is gambling, in my own opinion. Forget about what they show us in the movies.

Indeed, gambling under the influence of alcohol is a perfect combination for ruin, but only a fool would do it intentionally, because of course, no one wants to experience ruin in any form, especially financially.

Personally I don't even like alcohol so this is something that I haven't really experienced. Some people get carried away by the free drinks in a casino and they start getting intoxicated while gambling, this makes them lose track of time, gamble wrecklessly and act violently when they lose a lot of money. There's nothing wrong in drinking after gambling but taking those substances while gambling at the same time is not really advised, acting under the influence of alcohol is something you would regret later on
