We had no dealings, and I often saw him posting in Lending sub-board. I contacted him once when I needed a quick small loan, and he was so understanding and so kind understand the situation as it was an emergency. He offered me a low interest rate compared to other borrowers. Fortunately, I got the loan from a friend in real life, and I thanked Condoras for his quick response and kindness. Nothing more

I wish the best for your family and all those who respect you. Reading all these comments from members confirms how honest you were. I truly hope to get that much love and respect one day. Rest in peace my friend.

I didn't know Condoras personally, but I've read his post on the Lending subboard several times with interest.
It's helped me understand the lending business, its difficulties, and its dramas.

I'm a little late to this thread, I have been on the road for the last couple of weeks and have only returned home mid week.

On the 12th of September, Condoras repaid a substantial ($10,000 loan) to me.  It was late; very late. But, he had remained in contact with me even when the price of Bitcoin jumped, he repaid the BTC price as agreed.  We had exchanged photos and talked a little about our health issues.  I'm sure in time we would have built on our friendship.

Telegram is still saying he was "last seen recently" which is strange (maybe his account is still active?)

I'm sorry to see you go Condoras.  Rest well.

Oh wow, what bad news! I rarely check the reputation section so I also just found this sad news! I know condoras really liked basketball so I was wondering for a while now why he stopped posting in our European basketball leagues thread. Now I know why and it really is shocking.
We have a lost a great and loyal member of this community, I hope his family and loved ones will stand strong thought this!!

Sorry for bumping the thread but I just became aware that @condoras passed away now that @TryNinja mentioned it at the Bitcointalk Community Awards..

I remember that I made the first art for his lending thread here on Bitcointalk.. it was 2016, almost 10 years ago..

Such a nice guy.. once in a while he used to send me some PM.. last one was in late 2024 when he wanted me to buy a vinyl and ship it to a friend in the US.. he was always in a good mood.

I'm reading old PMs now.. he mentions that he wanted to visit Brazil one day.. on our last conversation he said we should meet since he was living much closer.

Months ago I was watching a brazilian youtuber on Costa Rica and he talked with a crazy greek on the streets.. I almost asked @condoras if it was him to joke with him, but didn't send it.

Such a loss.. my condolences to the family.

As a result of your post today, I decided to take a look at your account. I am convinced after reading the nonsense you have posted in the past that the "Anthony Bill" account was created to be added to an account farm.

Your early posts are designed to portray the "Anthony Bill" account as a newbie but that clearly is not the case.

People like Condoras in this community their families deserve to show love when they depart from this world. It will make the family to value the love we share among crypto enthusiast, I have been reading people comments in this thread how Condoras has contributed to the growth of this community before he went to meet our creator.

The post was made not to make post count but to fish merit after getting 1 merit with a post one year ago. Now he wanted to try with a post and hoped that he will get merit again or he even did not remember he already posted here 1 year ago.

Wasted effort on his part then as I stopped handing out merits after the 1st week in this thread. Seen too many just posting trying to get a merit. It's a shame the way people try to take advantage of someone being nice to benefit themselves.

IDK there's still probably quite a few users who may have interacted with him that rarely visit this section who don't know of his passing, but on the other hand, his profile has the In Memoriam title on it now and people should already know what that means.

In short I guess locking this might be a good idea. If someone wants it unlocked they can pm me.
