One of the characteristics of a good businessman is being able to take risks. For those who are always anxious, is building a business already out of the picture for them? or do they still have hope?

Being business minded and being able to actually pull it off are two different things, everyone can be business minded in a sense that they wish to own a business and act like a business owner but not everyone is capable to bring their imagination to reality. Owning a business is not an easy job and it requires your time, energy, focus and most especially control of your feelings because their are decisions you need to make without thinking for the good of your business.

Everyone have what they have passion for and thre other skilled professions that also need people, we all have what we want and what we like. And here in Nigeria there are tribes that priotize business as a skill to be learned, so as we have different personality so we are driven by different passion because of the different sectors we have makes it difficult for everyone to like business, the only good thing will be if you like business go for business that the most important thing and there people that they don't have business ideas but they invest in those that have so that is just the case, we need to understand better.

Mindset or professional behavior is something you could change and adapt. The only real thing you need to become a good businessman is the desire to improve yourself. It also depends on what individual wants to achieve from a business. For someone, an income to get along monthly at the ease of their comfort zone would be enough while some would be overly ambitious. Both are not necessarily good or bad. Taking high risks could sometime be disastrous even if there were huge market opportunity due to unforeseen situations like covid epidemic, local policy changes or just a bad incident with you or your finance.

I've seen ego, anger, selfishness as some common reasons why people don't do good in business but if you truly want to succeed than you leave all of these behind and look at your business in maths and find what's working and what's not. Improve yourself or your business model to one that give more turnouts.

That's the difference between each person. We could say everyone has the mindset of wanting to be successful and has enough money to do something, but everyone has their own path to success. Those with money certainly have the ambition to succeed, but not everyone follows the same path. Some are interested in business, while others are interested in investing or trading.

Personally, if I had enough money, I'd still be confused about whether to use it for business or investment, as both are things I've considered. However, initially, I'd choose investment because I've done it before, so I have some knowledge to draw on, and I just need to develop it further.

Not every investment can make you richer, and the examples you've given are only a few cases out of so many people who actually made it through investments, and so many more people make investments, but they don't manage to make a ton of money from it, maybe some profits over time, but that doesn't make you any richer. I know that also all businesses don't make you richer, but the tendency of a business making you more revenue over time is higher than an investment doing the same.

A business can be expanded over time and eventually become a source of generational wealth. I have seen so many businesses that have been running for decades, and the ones who started them were very older generations of the ones that are managing them now. So if you start a business, and it works out, your next few generations can generate money from it. You can't have generational wealth with investments, because it won't last that long, and if it does, it won't provide you with consistent profits.

In fact, when talking about opportunities anyone can do it but not everyone can succeed. The same is true with business although it may sound realistic and feasible for anyone if we fail to capitalize on the opportunities available it can be a slow self destruction if we continue to force ourselves to pursue a business venture when we can't do it properly.

Yes, it’s not only business which generates us money but digital skills which we offer and earn is best way to earn. Business invloves risk taking, planning, innovations that everyone can’t develop. Some people are just not cut out for having and managing a business. They may be skilled in other aspects in their lives but are not able to have and run a business successfully. It takes guts, meticulous planning and consistency to be able to have your business withstand several challenges and hurdles that small businesses have to wade through to finally find a foothold in the market.

Not everyone has the patience or the consistency to keep up especially when the business seems bleak. Also, with risk taking, you must make difficult decisions as a business owner. No, I don't think they can and nor do they need to be. There are people out there who are highly sensitive to emotions, who make great carers and have a different type of talent. Now they very well may be good at business too or they might not have any need to learn about it in great depth - their most beneficial skills lay elsewhere. I think most people have the potential to learn these skills but they simply might not be interested either, or they might be missing a proper educational infrastructure from an early age or the support of somebody to make sure they attend. You need a basic understanding of language, math and it helps to be generally rounded in subjects like science too.

Starting a business has nothing to do with risk in my own opinion. There are business with assurance of profit, you only need to learn how that business work or allow someone teach you. The moment you start the business, you will see the profit start coming. Irrespective of what I said, you are still on point, because not everyone is willing to even start the business despite being aware of the profit that can come in. They prefer to see their money in FIAT rather than in product and goods meant for sale. Which comes from the fear of not having customers.

Anyone can learn to be an entrepreneur and think like one. However, not everyone has the ability to be a successful entrepreneur. Well, sometimes everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. So, we often meet people who initially owned a business but couldn't sustain it and instead found comfort in being an employee. And conversely, there are also those who started out as employees but took the big step of building their own business and found success. Well, everything is different. But certainly, everyone can try. Although, ultimately, each person will be directed to the job that best suits them. Because even if someone has a business mindset, some simply can't handle the pressure.
