Is Bitcointalk still relevant when many platforms have updates on the ltest news

Social media is full of scams and shit. I don't have any stats on this, but i think newbies who get their early information about bitcoin through social media are more likely to get scammed than people who started their journey in bitcointalk. One last thing, bitcointalk also gives its users an opportunity to earn some bitcoins whilst posting, so add that to what i have already said and you can come to a conclusion that the forum is going nowhere for the foreseeable future.

It’s not about stats it is proven on the reports we see on the social media that many people get scammed from the information they get from this social media platforms not even that even goggle search or even AI search would actually give some results that are very inaccurate but here are Bitcointalk we do not say that scam is actually moderated but it is by far better than any forum or social media because once a fake information is passed it will be debunked by those who actually have the right information,

It is on this forum that informations are shared for free and not sold, some other places like social media their influencers who actually sell off informations as little as how to actually buy and sell on exchanges something that you can learn for free here, there are other opportunities here that one can not just mention

If you've done your research very well, you must have knowledge why the forum is still relevant, new projects are here to market their platform, there is no level of information you want about bitcoin that the forum don't have to give, you can get the advice and solve certain technical issues by asking questions here.

This forum is dedicated to bitcoin knowledge, anyone interested in bitcoin should be interested in the forum. Bitcointalk also thought some of us how to invest using the right idea, and strategy. Most persons visit and later leave the forum, it's your choice to decide whether to stay or leave.

This community is the foundation where it all started, and it still remains one of the best, but the question of which all is asking about how relevant it is, is not a bad question. Earlier, every crypto startup came here for information and promotion, but this time around, you barely see any new projects coming to Bitcoin Talk to come and do some of their promotion.

The social media space is taking over because it's easy for them to reach more people. While here is how they can also get more exposure and be exposed if they are doing any shady stuff, the community will remain relevant to those who know its value, but those who seek attention else will make use of social media innovations is always welcomed.

Bitcointalk is highly relevant, and will always be relevant. You should know that Bitcointalk is more than just social media, it has advantages for any discussion, especially in crypto. This forum has numerous boards for various discussions, is always updated, and focuses on specific topics. So, I don't think there is any reason Bitcointalk shouldn't be relevant. Personally, I consider this forum like a home filled with family who complement each other. Furthermore, I believe that Bitcointalk or this forum has the same value as Bitcoin, meaning it will be valuable forever.

Well, once a certain platform is still accessible and continues to attract a lot of new members coming in, that only means one thing, that kind of platform is still playing a vital role in accomplishing its future goals as a forum. With that, since bitcointalk is still highly present and accessible, that makes it a relevant one despite of the numerous platforms existing today.

However, with the internet that is available for us 24/7, there’s no rule that prohibits us not to register in another forum. Just know the fact that the more reliable sources you have, the more you will be well-informed and educated about the nature and advantages of bitcoin.

I believe you see other social media before you register to Bitcointalk forum to become a member right, have you learn something difference from other social media?  I will not lie to you on this, Bitcointalk forum is the largest forum that accommodate thousands of cryptocurrency users and investors for improvement if am not mistake, you can ask any questions that is bothering you not to progress in this forum or business, and you will get answers that will give you solution to know what to do from that moment, I don't know how long the forum will last op, but I know it will not last forever because we humans beings will not last forever, I think you get my points on this.

For me, this forum and any other forums are still the best place to learn. Social media often just repeats those headlines or doesn't often hear other side, but here you can actually see different perspectives and more often it's debated so you can hear both sides. That balance is what makes information trustworthy imo. As long as Bitcoin is around, I don’t see Bitcointalk losing being relevant, it’s part of the history and this is where Satoshi use to seclude himself when he develops Bitcoin and exchange ideas with other developers.

When comparing quantity (number of posts), the forum loses its attractiveness^[1]. However, when comparing quality, the quality of posts varies between boards and the quality is still high in the technical and mining sections.

However, we can hardly see posts that are original in nature, so many of the discussions generated are quoted from major crypto media outlets like Cointelegraph, as the news comes directly from the source. Big names in Cryptocurrency have an account there.

I just don't know how it occurs to you to compare an insignificant news portal like shittytelegraph with a forum where it actually all started? Here you will find the best of the best, whether it is history or the present.

I don't think the people you mentioned are important or influential, especially that little Chinese criminal CZ who paid almost $5 billion to avoid being in prison for the next 20+ years, and also claims that 99% of people will lose their coins if they keep them in non-custodial wallets.

If you think real things happen on social media, you always have the choice to spend more time there than here.

I liked the algorithm here because there's less of an echochamber, you have to go search for the things you want to find or just browse what's recent.

News articles will pass you the bias of the author or the bias they wanted to give you. Social media, especially X, push politically right leaning and authoritarian content (Meta and other social medias are fairly heavily edited). I don't think a crypto server is active on mastodon but I could be wrong.

Yes and why not you think its not? Even if you say that there are lots of people in social media sites talk about crypto still you are not provably sure that you can learn lot of things there.

As it regards the relevance of this forum, I will say it's relevance is almost unending, literally those other platforms that are surfacing in recent times could be feeding of here, don't be surprised when you find out, have you noticed  the promotions of other platforms been done here? That's to show you how relevant this forum is as compared to those, this forum is not promoted there rather they have to come here to promote theirs, beyond that are many other key information if you so care that will equip you in the crypto space, such that you literally find no where, so Bitcointalk will continually remain relevant as long as the crypto space is concern.

Honestly speaking, In times of quality content about Bitcoin and many other altcoins, you can not compare Bitcointalk to social media, as for the other platforms that you mentioned, I don't know any other bitcoin or crypto platform except bitcoin and altcointalk. As of now, I will argue that Bitcointalk is still very relevant but will it remain like that or how long will it remain so? I don't know but as long as Bitcoin is in existence, the forum will still retain people with Bitcoin knowledge and experience.

Well it is. Some social apps are relevant too or got a huge traffic but if youre gonna find a legit discussion platform then youre sitting to it. Forum is the oldest hub I seen for crypto that still has a lot of users sharing knowledge and stuff about bitcoin. I think no one can beat it upfront with that.

This is very true, i have read so many crypto and bitcoin related articles that contained misleading and false statements, i would have loved to challenge the author on it, but there is no way to do that. So i basically discard whatever i read there. But a newbie might be deceived when they read such an article and they would move on in their crypto journey with such misleading info.

That said, in bitcointalk if you post anything misleading, you'd be corrected immediately. There are so many users in here with knowledge on different aspects on the network, you can be sure to get the correct answer on any subject. It is also open for discourse, debate, disagreement, etc. It is the proper place to learn about bitcoin.
