Could this be related to planetary overpopulation? After all, the number of people on Earth is steadily growing daily. Job openings can't be created in sufficient numbers to meet current realities. One thing to keep in mind is that we are at this stage of a world where it's going to take some time for many jobs to be open to humans. I mean we have seen the world go from people to machines in production before, simply look at how cars were made hundred years ago and look at it now. So now, digital is being taken over by AI as well, and the generation Z is already started working so while they are facing the consequences of it a bit, the generation Alpha, the one after that, will have incredible tough time breaking into the market.

When AI is capable of doing what a new hire, or intern, can do, then you are no longer needing an intern, how are these kids suppose to find a job then? That's why we said government of the people, so definitely government must still do something. If it's good, it's government; if it's bad, it's still government. More efforts are needed from government. Uncounted unemployment rates in my community or in my region are so discouraging. The reason why even before you started school you should have at least had some little skills or small business skills that would be generating you a source of income, so that when you become a graduate you don't need to wait for a white-collar job. Self-independence should be your first priority.

However, if the government really empowers 90% of graduates each year, provides infrastructures to engage youths, and believes you and me, there must be a decrease in frustration and negative thinking that leads to some cases, like criminal activities, stealing, scamming, fraud and cybercrime.

Advisably, as a graduate or youth, think positively about how to transform your small earnings into big financial growth, and seek more knowledge on financial planning, financial stability and wealth creation. We shouldn't make the upcoming generations feel bad or feel discouraged; we should let them pick up from our financial steps so that they won't face so many financial challenges.

Unemployment is a very important problem every nation needs to pay attention to because of its possibilities of destroying but the economic and leadership structure of the nation. This is true, they only look at the white collar jobs which are the professionals and office type jobs. They don't look at the manual labor and skills that has been provided by the smaller type of professionals that are into hard labor. Not quite like that, but I get your idea and it is close to reality. Youth start from calculation. A person wants to rent a flat in a new house, that already a hefty amount. Then that person wants to live same life he had when he was living with parents. As he lives alone now, or independent, he wants to have fun all the time, and having fun means going somewhere. Then it turns he needs 2-3k EUR for a comfort and modest life alone. When average salary is about 1.5k. That person, when applying for a job, ask for 2k EUR from the start, when people who have years of working experience earn 1.5k. When he gets NO, he return home to parents and start complaining that there are "no normal jobs".

Of course, the government should focus more on it. Do you know why India and Nigeria are the hubs of cyber scams? It is primarily due to unemployment. These individuals who speak fluent English, of course, are well-educated. These individuals work in a scam center, earning a salary and commission on a part-time basis, as they are unable to find suitable jobs in their country. My country also has a high unemployment rate.

The ratio of online scams has almost doubled in the last two years. Many people are being scammed, and most of these scams are run by unemployed graduates. The government should create more working opportunities instead of focusing on corruption.

To be honest, youth has a decent amount of time to invest into learning. It's not like there are not enough opportunities out there but the competition is cut throat and you really need to be skilled to land in a decent paying job. If they stay unemployed is because either they are too lazy to learn something new or are imagining about a get rich quick scheme which eventually make them a bad person.

There are lots of opportunities now because we live Ina a digital age, although people focus more on their profession due to the fact that its their major and passion but you need to venture into other things if you can't get a job in your area of specialization.
