While on p2p, some useless merchant will intentionally delay making the payment, then at last claimed to have made it, send the signal to the exchange for you to release, then you got to discover that they didn't send anything, when you complained on them, they will informed you of unfavorable rates, if you don't give them attention, they will ask you to cancel the order, if you do so, then you will receive a warning that maximum of 3 orders will result into your account being unable to perform p2p till after 24hrs.

The buyer would have either let the time read and elapsed for you to get another buyer if he don't want to cancel the order, another thing he could have done is to avoid accepting your ads when you placed an order if he's not ok with the rate, they will ensure they got you provoked pushing you to cancel order after your refusal to make deductions for them.

This is quite complicating I must say, if there's any change in the trading rate for instance your entry price is 1423# as you Said, if there's an increase or decrease in the rate you will be informed that your trading price has changed and you will be redirected to the home page to start all over again you can't proceed when there's a change in the rate unless the change happens when you both have started making the transaction and when the entry price is been ticked there won't be any Plus or minus. But yeah I still understand what you're actually talking about a friend also encounter similar challenge but it was not due to the change of rate he just did it intensionally hoping that my friend won't find out, but funny enough he finds out that the payment is not complete so he quickly rush back to ask him to complete the payment else he won't release coin. So while doing P2P we all need to be extremely careful to avoid making unnecessary mistake.

Actually this na one exchange that I was recommended before to start doing my investment on a topic I created before on the bitcoin discussion section. Although nowadays scammers are always active sourcing for whom they would scam and from what people have said about bybit it is mostly a scam zone for scammers as lot of complaints are really coming from that exchange and most people also recommended me to bitget exchange which a bit more better than bybit according to the feedback and rating from some site, I learnt initially that Binance was the best to use trade on p2p but due to some regulations it was said to delist NGN from their exchange and people where now moving to other exchanges that offers same like services.

I don't know if Palmpay is aware of it yet but this thing don pass how many years now since I start using Bybit but I don't think Palmpay care to address this issue even if they are aware of it since banks and exchanges are not in good terms as per government order. I dey check for trade volume and 3rd warning, and then I go run check dem review (especially if dem be fresh people I wan deal wit). Dat review dey highly necessary. Yes, I don do some deals with Diamond/blue tick merchants and e went well. However, some of dem get bad reviews oh. Always run ur check before u commit wit dem. Nor do blind trust wit dem.

As we dey try to run from this scammers na so them they bring more idea to take collect the money wey we don hustle for. If one way block them go try open another one, to make sure say them they see the money steady. I don hear plenty things about how scammer them dey use different type of method take collect people money from there hand. When I dey trade for p2p if I see alart I go confirm am from my app first because some time, this people go do fake transfer wey alart go come but the money no go reflect. This and many oda scam attempts na why I jejely wakka leave Bybit. Scammers too much for dat side and Bybit themselves not dey do much to moderate dem, na why de scammers dey create new ways to scam more people. I gave one account negative feedback for bitget and was surprised dat in the next 3 days when I casually searched for his ads and saw dat he's restricted, which means they've launched and investigation on his conduct. I believe Bitget dey more active to moderate scams and it makes sense to me and with dat, I can overlook the little token dey charge as P2P fees.

I don’t actually know what is wrong with these merchants these days, they feel entitled to some of these charges if they have people agreeing to let them deduct any money from their transactions, and u can see how this is increasing because it used to be 1k back then and now up to 2k.

I never noticed that if 2k sha, but it is a very bad thing for the merchants, they are behaving like beggars despite all the money they are making, some of them will not add it in their terms and conditions, but once you place a trade with them, they will message you and complain if charges which is very wrong, and if you failed to agree with them, they will cancel the trade.

To avoid all these, I think looking for users with good number of trades and going through their reviews will be better, then focus on their terms and some users that use swift payment, they are the best now because no charges and you will receive you payment within few seconds.

Let's get it right I love the idea that Bybit always give warning to any new type of scam they discover, although they're a centralized exchange but there is nothing we can do than to patronize them since it is one of the easiest way of trading P2P. I don't understand why palmpay has such features and I hope they do something about it because although you can say it brings some kind of privacy to users making use of the bank but still it is a centralized bank and as such should not allow people to do such a thing as we know the wrong hands will make bad use of this feature.

When I still be newbie for this forum (when my eyes never open), I know of somebody way been use by it trade p2p that year and unfortunately him and the buyer begin negotiate based on how much em go pay based on say na BTC em won sell instead of USDT and unfortunately for the seller and him sef no too know watin sup for the crypto market, na so the buy pay am lesser amount of money, if I fit remember correctly I guess ma about 100k plus nai em lose for that trade. But right now way out eyes done open so, I no sure say person fit fall for that kind of thing again.
