Didn't expect to read this news and its sad to see that these three big casino are about to leave.

For sure the community especially their long time gamblers don't like this situation to happen.  Best of luck for @LFC_Bitcoin, @jeremypwr and Steve you guys are the best.

Hopefully there's some changes will happen and we can still continue to see them operating around here.

If I am not mistaken, the Yolo group has been operating these brands for some time now. I read the press release, yet failed to understand why they are doing it. BitcoinTalk should not be considered an unregulated market; it is essentially another version of social media, where brands promote their businesses. Can they also place restrictions on their X account? I am not sure how they do these things, but I feel terribly sorry after reading this.

I remember winning Sportsbet's March, and I still wear this jersey. Sportsbet was generous enough to cover the delivery charge as well, and they remained in touch with me for a long time until I received it.

But hey, the casino and the sportsbook are not closing, right? I hope Steve will stay around and engage with us.

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

And like the rest of gamblers here, sportsbet is the first casino that I registered and played once I involved myself in crypto and gambling. And we all know that this brands are well established here so it really doesn't make sense why they will stop their promotion as this is the biggest crypto gambling base community.

In any case goodluck to whatever path they will go in the future. But for sure many of us here won't forget casinos that they have built here.

That's quite surprising news to me.
 
I still remember how you treated me with nothing but respect, Steve, when I got more active on Bitcointalk.
I never talked about gambling with my japanese contacts but reading that Sportsbet.io also pulled out of Japan is very surprising since everybody knows how significant the gambling market is there.

 That’s really sad news. I discovered this site about a year ago, and over that time it became one of my favorites — I’d even say Sportsbet started to feel like home to me. 
I feel truly sad about this, but I still want to thank Steve and Jeremy from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the best on this forum!

This is sad news. I never thought this could be the end after running for 7 years or so. But nothing goes on forever. We understand that this is the hardest part of the decision taken by the company.

I have much good experience with BitCasino, SportsBet, and LiveCasino. I can not say many things but I'm really sad to see you guys leave this.

It is quite a sad one to see one of the oldest existing projects on this platform putting up such a notice of exit. I know the current situation might be very rough and tough for you but you have really made an impart in the community. Although I have not really taken part in any event organised by Sportsbet but I have been oppotuned to see some events as hosted by them and it was successfully coordinated without any problems.

@steve, @jeremypwr you have done well representing the sportsbet.io  organisation here and I wish you well in your feature endeavour's.

I knew about Sportsbet.io through their sponsorship of Watford FC in 2019 long before I joined this forum. I have seen them sponsor many other football clubs and other sports events in many different countries. When I came to this forum and noticed that they are active here and have been here since 2016 or so, I was happy and my confidence in Bitcoin and sports grew even more when I finally got accepted into Rollbit campaign, another company that sponsored Napoli and Southampton last season. Sincerely, I feel terrible seeing Sportsbet.io leave this forum because they have been one of the biggest sponsor of events here through their wonderful and professional managers we have here. Never for once have we had issues with them meeting their obligations regarding promotion and free gifts and bulk of the tanks goes to Steve who have been their eye here.

It's just so bad that they are out of work in a career they have build over the years and I can only wish the affected workers good luck in their future endeavors. We will surely miss Sportsbet.io, BC and Livecasino.

Sad to hear this news since Bitcasino gives me a good experience especially during their Bitcoin Pizza day promotion and other main event promotion.

Regulation truly sucks when business that wants to operate peacefully becomes a target. I knew they don’t have a choice but to operate with better license that affects their current setup.

I hope there will be a new casino that will enter and replace their spot. It’s sad that lots of regular employees suddenly lost their job due to this changes.

It's sad to see Sportbet.io have to leave Bitcointalk, with a long period of time together we discussed and participated in the many events they held for the Bitcointalk community, this is the first time I feel the loss here, it makes me moved and I still wonder why it won't be with us here forever, but maybe that's a decision that has been taken. I read everyone's comments then I thought that if I ask some questions here and get answers to the questions, it might be good for everyone.
Forgive me if I am wrong, do you have any specific time limit for the withdrawal of the funds of the sportsbet.io users? Or can the withdrawal that is still in process be confirmed within a time? Has the payment for a prediction poll that was organized by you been completed, or if it has not been completed, how long will it take to complete it? Another important question I have is whether we will be able to contact the support team as before. If that is not possible, what is the alternative way to contact the support team. 

I would like to thank J.PWR and at the same time I would like to appreciate his work. I hope that you will take good steps forward in the future and I hope that those steps will be successful and I wish you all the best.

This isn't about Bitcointalk or other social media. To exit from it they wouldm't have to sack 30% of their employees. Now I read Substack article that was written month ago by Yolo Group owner:

It'sall about regulations which isn't friendly for crypto gambling. They already had to restrict users from some big markets. Interesting moment that Sportsbet is even restricted in Estonia where their headquarters is. They're considering to close whole their grey market websites like Sportsbet or Bitcasino and move forwards to making something new.

Super sad news.

We lose maybe our most trusted sportsbook/casino in the whole forum and not only that we also lose Steve which him as a individual was always the most supportive and helpfull guy in the whole forum when we talk about actual staff from the brands.

I really want to see him again being hiring again and with a much better position. And i also hope to see somehow they find a way and SB keeps operating.

And Steve dont leave the forum, maybe this is the time to see the Steve as a normal user and start to play the BSFL and other contest with us.

Oh wow, that's very surprising and sad to see. Sportsbet.io was maybe my 2nd or 3rd crypto site I ever used, and I only had good experiences there, aside from losing, haha.
Since I live in Japan I guess I can't use my account any longer then. Got plenty of free bets in the past and it was always fun to participate in the countless giveaways that took place in this forum.
