These are some of the acts that make many people lose focus and the essence why they gamble, it can actually form an important reason to why we really lose focus. I don’t understand the part when the laws and regulations is involved since you shouldn’t partake in gambling if you are from country that restrict gambling.

This is the first time to know about being best in gambling with pure skills because it always incorporates luck even on skill based game like poker so we can’t rule out completely luck as being part of being good in gambling.

I believe a good way to become good is to do what you said: study the subject, understand the basics, and then delve deeper into the subject or sport. So it's important to understand what can and can't happen and start understanding and betting. That way, you learn what to do and end up getting good at it through trial and error.

If everything were as logical and simple as you described, the number of people making money from betting would be much higher. I simply don't believe it can be profitable on a consistent basis. It's not even that; I think it depends a lot on how much knowledge you have about what you're betting on. In Italy, betting slips were made a long time ago, and they're still done today. It's a small form of betting that rewards those who understand football and have a deep memory of how teams perform.

Is it possible to master gambling? 
If we can master gambling, we won't rely on the luck factor. In fact, we will always rely on the luck factor even if we have been a very long time in gambling. Learning gambling also can't improve the chance to win for certain gambling games. So, this is just an indication that mastering gambling isn't likely possible. Having self-control or manage time and money is only the way to avoid severe losses. Anyway, there is no analysis that can guarantee to win in gambling.

I don't even know whether that word "best" still exist in gambling because we can't call ourselves best when we are still making loses when gambling. Gamblers should know how to help themselves in a way that they are not going to be seen as a weak person that just gambler without any result. You'll want to win, make money and expend on things that interest us. The motive should not be to gamble for competition but for result...simple!

Although your probability math skills definitely could be called a skill as well as analytical in nature.

By not trusting anyone except what you believe in is basic to being human. If this basis is brought to a gambling context, it is also good as a self-protection.

Let's get things straight so we don't misunderstand.
