if winning consistent counted as always win, of course it wouldnt happen because every team will face a lose some day and stopped their winning streak or unbeaten record. But if consistent just counted as mostly get profit from all of his bet during a week, i think it still make sense to say this gambler able to make sure his betting can profit consistent. Luck is the bigger factor but your skill in recognizing the best odds and opportunities is what determines how you can view it as success or not.  Its always luck, there is a cost to the game and taking part and your skill in handling all factors and choosing only the best games is where you come into it.  
   I only hope to learn and advance in my appreciation and accuracy for the game; if I do that Im happy Im going to win when possible.  Ideally I enjoy the game more because I bet rightly but also it doesn't ruin my viewing when Iam wrong so I try not to overbet just keep it as a side game not my entire interest.

Most persons only talk about luck, so if we may say we should pick games at random and make any bet, do we think that luck is going to bale us out, I doubt and this is how skill comes in.
