Does ChatGPT have all the lucky nubers in its database or was it just luck? Are people now going to use ChatGPT to win the lottery?

Lottery is based on randomness. This is why ChatGpt or any other algorithm can't do calculations and come up with a winning number. If someone was lucky to win with the number given by ChatGpt, this means it's a pure luck, not a cleverness of artificial intelligence.
Remember that if it's possible to guess the exact winning number or approximately, this does mean that the game is not luck based anymore and will cease running forever.

Several times I tried but still no one got a perfect win, at most only 2 numbers were correct out of 4 numbers in my lottery, and out of 10 football matches only 3 were won, this is too far a difference, but that was their free version of ChatGPT before, I don't know if using the premium version might make a difference, I haven't tried it, I agree that the lottery results from randomness not mathematical calculations, so it will be purely called luck if you win.

So you have real experience with using Chat GPT in gambling. You have traded 10 football matches with the help of Chat GPT where you have won only three bets. Winning three out of 10 bets using Chat GPT is by no means a correct result because if we bet on 10 matches with assumptions we will win more than three matches even there.

How can you be sure of winning more than three matches, in order for proving your superiority as a human mind over most powerful AI algorithms? By saying that you can easily predict three correct bets out of ten matches, considering real bets not easier ones, you are no difference from the one saying he can rely on AI to get 30% accurate results for sure. Both of you ignore the fact that it's always based on pure luck whatever how much accurate the results are.

Use AI for deep analysis because it has the ability to treat tons of information and results regarding a specific match in a specific sport. But never rely on it to predict a bet result unless you want to lose/win out of pure fun like with small bet amounts, but never with big money.

If it were possible for AI to predict the outcome of a game played in the casino, then the owner of the casino is at stake of loosing his funds sooner or later, because every one will want to use the AI to generate predicted outcome, but no, AI cannot guarantee a sure win, all it does now is give you probability of what may or may not happen, in the case of lottery it can generate random figure for you to try out, if it work, it’s simply you’re just being lucky on that day.

The real threat for casinos and their true-random number generators are glitches or exploits on their machines, which could be taken advantage of by ill-intentioned gamblers.

As it stands today, those using AIs in order to try to break the system set up in casinos are just losing their time and fooling themselves.

I have not seen anyone who came out openly to confirm that they won gamble through the help of AI. When I say win, I mean getting a l remarkable amount of money that the casinos would know that something big have hot them. Such winning may be hard to see with the integration of AI which I consider a great tool but definitely not for live event like sports betting that a lot of factors can influence the performance of the team and by extension, the outcome of the gambling.                                                                                                                                                                                       

In this case even if anyone says that they win by the artificial intelligence's help then I will say that if the person is telling a lie or he is winning by coincidently not by the help of the strategy.

You can win on almost the worst prediction, a prediction that didn’t have a glimmer of hope in it and that doesn’t mean you used the best tools or got access to the right kind of information to have supported your win, of course not. It’s just you being lucky to have placed a bet just about the time you did and the predictions you made. That situation you've given is about being lucky and I agree that even with the worst predictions and bets we do, it can have a twist and still win. But that's not in our hands but with those who are involved in the games. Tools like chatgpt, they're being used for almost everything and it's no longer odd if someone tries to rely their betting decisions in it before they do so. Yes we should use tools especially if this is helping us to make our life so easy, but they need to know the used of this tools so that they won't expect anything beyond on its capability.

Much better if they treat that as way to get more faster information, since those Ai tools will deliver all data's that they need to help their research. AI doesn't guarantee winning but comparing it with using ones understanding to analyse game , you will see that AI is far more better. Truth be told, ChatGPT makes our analysis easier and some other tasks, including gambling, it provides you with informations you didn’t think would be necessary, but when it comes to winning, it’s sure based on luck, you don’t fully rely on it because it’s garbage in garbage out, it’s gives you information from what it has gathered for so far it existence. What I do while staking most of the time, I’ll analyze the bet I’m about to stake on, then allow chatGPT do it own analysis, and I compare and contrast, 50% of the time it turn out to be winning game, the others are on lose. Just to be on a safer side, you don’t rely on it fully.

Yes, it's the best choice when you use AI as a helper in your research. You can't rely on AI completely, but it surely can help you to gather some information needed. Even in that case you should check the info provided by AI because often AIs just invent things out of the blue, but if after the check it looks legit, you can use it. And even then not all of those predictions will come true, but they could be better than made on your own.

And why the believe is a cognitive falacy is that in reality, the calculator does not or did not help the gambler to win, it only served as an information tool with which the gambler was able to get information which he himself could either accept or reject as a personal and final decision.

Well, I think I agree with all that you have said, you are right after all, chatgpt can not help a gambler to win their games because there is no way the chatbot will place bets for us, it only provides us wit information that we can either choose to or reject to make use of, the final decision is always our responsibility to make and when we make a final decision that ended us in winning, it is we the people around celebrate and not chatGPT, likewise when we lose to gambling ourselves and not that Ai from which we got the information that lead to the loss.

I am suing CoPilot and ChatGPT for my work, but I have never relied on them for making bets. But after going through the replies in this thread, I guess AI tools can be used to study whether the odds are biased or not and also to study the risk profile. All that said, I am against the idea of using AI in every nook and corner. The AI bubble is going to burst, and when it burst it will be even worse than the dot com bubble of 2000. I still believe that human brain is superior to the computer brain. Therefore I don't want to overly rely on AI tools in the future as well, at least for gambling.

As long as you still fact check on the AI opinion given to you I believe there’s nothing wrong on using this since it’s like a virtual assistant that can give you a quick summary for a specific match you are seeking to bet instead of opening multiple tabs for different sports website just to check stats and compared it.

It’s important that you a have a good knowledge to verify AI suggestions since there might be error on the data its referring for the specific analysis.

I don’t use AI for bets but I’m not against it for more convenient way of analysis.

When it comes to online poker, theoretically, you can create a script that will take a screenshot of your table and then send it to ChatGPT or another AI model for analysis and a response on how to proceed with your hand. But keep in mind, it's a kind of cheat, which could ultimately lead to your poker room account being banned.
