I don't think I have experience this phase before but I can say for myself that I don't have money to throw into gambling that will make me gamble recklessly. I've never been in a situation where I was about to run out of money. Only once did I lose my entire bankroll, but it was a small amount, and I tried out a strategy, so I realized the odds of losing were high. Yes, the excitement wore off, but I played until the end.

I lost quite large amounts several times, but I kept betting, and eventually made a profit. But I was playing according to strategy, betting a standard amount; I didn't decide to go all that today.
