Gambler or Player - which one are you?

Well, from your definitions given about who a gambler and a player is, I would submit that presently, I find it somewhat difficult to examine where I stand, or should I rather say I used to be more of a player but now, am not, and not even a gambler as well.

From my thoughts, I would want to believe that everyone has a bit of a player mindedness while the vet games. I don't think someone who bets games, even though it is all for fun , will not at least have that intuition of, let me win this bet slip. Am sure that feeling would be there. So I'm a general terms, that feeling makes everyone of us a player, though not in a very high degree. Because if those who are just gamblees, who bet just fun, as you explained, would have the urge to win, then they are not completely left out of this player mode of a thing.

For the way I feel, much emotions attached when I bet games, and how bad I feel wheb I loss a bet slip, for my sanity, I decided to stop betting or gambling. If we compare a player and a gambler here, then I am a gambler but I am not really a gambler. One of the reasons for this is that I sometimes gamble just for fun, I do not gamble to make money. Moreover, in the description you have given between a gambler and a player, I cannot claim to be a gambler because I do not gamble all the time and I do not gamble skillfully and I do not gamble with the aim of winning. I only participate in gambling to spend my free time and to entertain myself when I feel lonely, be it one or two days a week. I want to move forward with the strategy that I have. That’s actually a healthy way to see it gambling becomes dangerous when someone forgets it’s supposed to be entertainment once money becomes the main goal emotions start driving decisions and that’s when things spiral but if you approach it the way you described—playing just to pass time, spending only what you can afford, and not chasing wins—it stays safe and enjoyable. Calling yourself a gambler doesn’t always have to mean something negative it’s more about intention there are people who gamble responsibly and never get trapped because they know where to stop and there are others who treat it like a job and end up losing control the difference lies in knowing your limits.

Some may succeed with the restrictions that are put in place, but some people fail to implement them and instead become more
and more with no specific restrictions or rules so as not to become an addict.

If you're aware of what you're playing and how risky it is, it's a good self-control so you can think more clearly so you don't keep logging in and get addicted.

It is actually true that players do the same thing through analysis before going in to the ground, in this case they analyze data from previous matches to identify the form and weaknesses of the opposing team's players.
And this is what is basically the same with gamblers, but we have to remember that even if these things are the same with gamblers, all players go into the match with such prior preparation and even then the match result does not always come according to their expectations. So gamblers should not call this their skill because ultimately only when they enter the field can they understand what the game situation is like.

Regardless of what your expectations are from your gambling activities you must agreed to be called a gambler, and you don't even have to play for the money or just for fun before your categories change to gamblers.

As long as you gamble in a particular direction and have a consistent follow up, then you are a core gambler already no two ways about that fact in your titles.

I don't totally agree with you on these definitions and I have not seen such definitions anywhere so I consider both player and gambler the same because the major reason they gamble or the common reason they play betting is to make profit nothing much and not all the people you call gamblers play for fun or entertainment. But if I'm to take your definition I will say I'm a player not a gambler because I focus on winning, profit and I carry out analysis to make sure I win even though nothing is sure in betting but like I said I don't really agree with your definition but I believe everything depends on mindset.

Most people who casually gamble are technically gamblers because they play for fun or excitement rather than strictly following strategy.Some  persons consider gambling has two categories which is the Gambling for fun and gambling for money.But which ever direction it takes,it still falls under Gambling.

As a gambler I just gamble for fun purpose only, no player feelings attached. When I win I become happy and when I lose I just don't get emotional because I gamble with what I can afford to risk. If this is the description for a player in gambling then it doesn't fit me in it because I see all kind of games including sport betting as game of chance not as skill and I never want to get better in this skill because it is not possible no matter what we try to do so for now I have to stick with gambler but to add a fact I am just being a responsible gambler to know that not to bet any amount or keep chasing the loss.

Some persons go between the two pending on their mood or luck on that very day. The point is remaining on the side of player more often, method and control normally outlast pure thrill-seeking.

Am not the type that take gambling so serious like that, I just gamble whenever I want to, and I don’t gamble with the amount which I know will make me feel bad if I lose, I gamble with amount which I don’t even think about it whenever I lose. I know just few people are the ones that gamble for fun, most gamblers are gambling because they want to make money, they take gambling as a skills which I don’t always encourage.
