Let's be sincere, is not everyone that loves their job. But a lot of people do it because, bills don't pay themselves. Job is what help people to put food on the table, and it also help them to take good care of their family, may be even chase their bigger dreams. Sometimes work is cool, while sometimes it is very stressful, but most people push through. Why? Because at the end of the day, it's how they support themselves and the people that they care about (their loved ones).
Why should I love my job? That seems like primitive thinking to me. If it's a hobby that brings in income, then that's still a good thing. Personally, I know few people who enjoy their jobs. They work only to provide for their families. They look forward to vacations. If they had another option, they would choose it. I've thought about changing jobs more than once, because I can no longer force myself to do something I don't enjoy. If we have many choices it is better, but many people out there don't have a choice because they have to pay bills so they have to work to cover it, so I think it's better if we try to love our work, it can be done slowly even though it will be difficult at first. Loving or liking our work, in my opinion, is something that must be cultivated.

A job is more than just a paycheck it’s where we spend a huge part of our time, energy, and creativity.Generally,we spend a significant part of our lives working because our jobs shape our routines, influence our growth, and often define how we contribute to the world.
But loving your job doesn’t always mean every day is easy or free from challenges. It means you find purpose in what you do. You see opportunities to learn and grow. You feel that your work creates impact both big or small. If you wake up excited about the work ahead, that’s a privilege worth celebrating. If not, maybe it’s time to ask yourself some personal and purposeful questions. What part of my work energizes me?What changes can I make to feel more fulfilled? What future do I want my career to lead me toward?
The truth is that, fulfillment at work isn’t found overnight,it’s built through intention, reflection, and sometimes even through the challenges. So I'll leave you with this question,Do you love your job,or what it gives you? do you just push through because you have to?
Yes I think I like the job I'm currently doing this is the reason: it give me enough time to carry out other activities and it doesn’t take much of my time. so I have enough time to time to even go through the forum even while I’m at the office. I have always wanted a government job, but not that one that is going to be very tedious, just because I like engaging my self with my computer and still get paid at the end of the week or month probably. So even as the pay I get from the office is not that commendable, i still do not panic and worry because it is exactly what I’ve wanted and I knw the pay won’t be sustainable that why I choose to be doing other activities to help handle my other responsibilities and im doing that with much ease because it is what I love to do.

Of course a job is the most important thing for a person and the one who has a job must manage it well and love it. Although I have not found a job till now, I really need a job that will help me manage my life according to the routine. It is very difficult to find a job in the present time. In this era, people are running after jobs, but it has become very difficult to get a job which is not easy to get. If I could get a job, then I would definitely do it with enough care and value it, every effort has to be made, hard work is definitely necessary to manage life. Yes, of course if I got a job, I would do it seriously, it is very necessary for a person to have a job, and if I find a job in the future, I will definitely evaluate it, a person who does not work knows that unemployment is really difficult.

We can't be pickers with the jobs anymore if finding a job nowadays is tough. While there are dream jobs that are still fulfilled for employees who aspires to be in one of it. Self employed is not what people are thinking that they're free to do the business they want any time they wish to do it. Each of us is trying to survive and so we gotta respect the hustle of each of us. And those who are using phones during duty time in their works, as long as it's not violating the workplace's rule then there is no problem with that and I think they'll even love the management and their job if they're allowed to do it once they're done with their tasks.
When we were teenagers, we thought we'd have a comfortable future with our dream jobs. But as adults, we realize that only a very small percentage of people have jobs that are their passion. Even a hobby becomes boring when it becomes a job. I'm an employee. I go to work, complete my to-do list for the day, go home, see my wife and kids, and enjoy the end of the day with a cup of coffee. I don't work because I love my job. But because I have to survive, I have to work. Some people might consider finding their dream job or becoming an entrepreneur with the expectation of being unbound by time. But believe me, if you don't have privileges like capital and connections, being an entrepreneur is much more difficult and will consume up to 24/7 of your time. If being an employee carries the risk of being laid off, being an entrepreneur also carries the risk of going bankrupt. I may be too pessimistic, but I think I'm too old to take on new challenges. I'm currently trying to find a side hustle, and my main focus is investing so I don't have to remain an employee until I'm old.

Unemployment humiliates people the most, it makes people worthless, no one respects or cares about those who are unemployed. If you have a big job now, everyone will talk to you with respect, because you have money. We have to get a job because we need money, and if you have money, everything is possible, but if you don't have money, you can't get the respect you deserve in any field. You can't present yourself anywhere just by having a certificate, because even if you have a certificate, you don't have money. But the one who has the power of money, is above everyone else in everything, so money is the most valuable thing in human life that takes people to the top. So try to earn money, get a job, invest, do business, do anything, but in the end earn huge money.

I guess one can never relate when he or she doesn't have a job. Been unemployed will messed with one's mental health and creating zero psychological dopamine. I've been in this state before and I know the level of affliction it cause. Often I shut my eyes in anguish because the pain was unbearable, it kills value and lower your self-esteem. Unemployment reduce your taste and standards as man and nobody will regard you, not even your friends or family because you bring absolutely nothing on the table. But here I am, been through that rough path and I've worked through it, survive and gotten a well paying job which now put smile on my face.
When OP ask the curious question if we loved our job? Ofcourse I love my job, I'm patriotic when it comes to my job because I wouldn't want my ass thrown out back on the streets, the job I have now cloth me, provide my needs and wants and probably for my family. With my job, I now have the respect and standards I deserve. So tell me, why would I not love my job? We're talking about something that have elevated me for life, common I ought to be proud and each time I'm in the office, God knows I worked really hard and smart to get the job done because I loved my work.

Job is for person who don't want to invest money and he has no money to invest. Millions of people have money but they have no courage to invest money because they saw many people who did business and they became unsuccessful in their mission. Your job should be your choice because you should get knowledge about the field in which you want to spend your time because I saw many people who have no low to their job but they are spending their time with that. People should learn more and more and then should take practical knowledge and after that they will be successful in their life . Job mindset is not best but it is good if you want to start your business and you have no money to invest in any business.

To be honest, I wouldnt say I "love" work like I love watching a good movie or hanging out with my family or friends. The whole idea that everyone needs to be super excited about their job is mostly nonsense, at least for most people. At the end of the day, its still work.
I understand the point about work needing to have give your life meaning, and thats great if you can find it. But lets be honest: Im not exactly thrilled to start working every day. At the same time, I dont hate it. I see it as a simple agreement: my time and energy in return for a paycheck and stability.
Well said, it is how you say it, most of us doesn't love our job it is our way to gain stability to survive to ensure that our family have roof over their head, food on their table and bills being paid to have comfortable life. I think only does who have inspiration on their workplace are the ones who really loves to wake up and excited to go to work.

Generally, such people are rare, and back when I had a full-time job, I saw one in 10 colleagues like them. The rest were slackers, preoccupied with killing time on their smartphones at work, watching YouTube and TikTok.
I think that there's nothing wrong using gadgets while in duty or in office as long as the company allows that. But if it's not allowed and these people are in a hurry and have duties to make, they're wasting the company's money and resource just for doom scrolling. They've hired the wrong people with that but as long as the task is done and they've got free time to do it without violating the company's rule and action, it should just be fine. It depends on the type of job that you have that will depend if you will even have time for Tiktok and YouTube during working hours. There are certain jobs you will have, you won't even have time from the moment you signed in till your closing hours. But in my own opinion I don't think it makes sense for an employee to be doing Tiktok or YouTube during work hours whether they have free time or not it doesn't just look professional. They can do it at home but as long as it it working hours they should stay away from those apps, unless they are using it to enhance their knowledge in their field. But if it is to watch other contents for fun that doesn't add to their work I don't really think it wise to do so.

If we have many choices it is better, but many people out there don't have a choice because they have to pay bills so they have to work to cover it, so I think it's better if we try to love our work, it can be done slowly even though it will be difficult at first. Loving or liking our work, in my opinion, is something that must be cultivated.
I agree with you, we should try to love our current job. By doing so, we will be able to be grateful and realize that many other people still do not have any job at all. Therefore, even though we continue to strive to find a better job, we must acknowledge that our current job provides us with stability that allows us to survive.

Of course, everyone wants to work in a comfortable and enjoyable environment so they truly love their job and work according to their style and desires. Furthermore, I believe that as long as you're an employee, there's no such thing as a truly enjoyable job, because pressure from superiors and subordinates is unavoidable.
And I think these days, people no longer talk about comfort, but about necessity. When it comes to necessity, no matter how bad a workplace is, people will still go to work to earn money. The truth is, comfort can be created, but finding a job is difficult. As long as my workplace doesn't have financial problems, pays employees on time, and I get what I deserve as an employee, then for me, it's not a problem even if I don't particularly love my job.

The key to a comfortable job is liking the job itself. Many people work not because they want to, are interested in, or enjoy it, but because they are forced to earn an income, which is intended to meet individual or family needs. Luckily for those who enjoy a particular field of work and are successful in finding a job they enjoy, but I think for those who work without liking their job, it doesn't mean it will last forever because I think sooner or later, work that is done routinely will make us like it naturally. This is a normal reaction.
Many people are in this situation, they work not because they like the job, but it is necessity that forces them to stay in the job even though the environment is not comfortable, the wage is even far from the minimum wage set by the government. But on the other hand, quitting a job when there is nothing else to do is not a good option. Especially in my country, getting a job is very difficult, so whether they like it or not, they have to keep working even though they actually have to work under pressure because of what I said earlier. That's the reality: many people are often forced to work for meager wages, but with work that can be tough. There are many people in my neighborhood who work like that, including my brother-in-law. He works for his own brother, but his salary is very minimal. Asking him about this so that he can get a better salary is impossible because my brother, who sent him to work, tends to be easily angered. But I've advised my brother-in-law to find another job with a clearer income, rather than working for my brother, whose salary is not even enough to cover transportation costs from his home to his workplace. The reason he persists with my brother's work is that there will be problems if my brother-in-law asks for a higher salary. I realize the main problem is my brother's selfish attitude, so I advised him to find another job as soon as possible. At least if he finds a new job, telling him that the salary is higher might make my brother realize.

We cant have it all or the things that we do like in life on which means that on whatever the things that in your front then it would be leaving you no choice but to work despite of the meager salary it would be. The most important thing of all is on how you would be able to make yourself that survive on which considering that money is important and if you are that having the ego because it doesnt deserve on what they pay to you then you will be struggling for sure. Its hard to get a job nowadays on which because of that high competition. We do know that we arent the only ones who do look for a job but there are tons of people who do deal up with jobs even if the pay is low as long they are earning money then that what matter most. There are those who've been hired on the job which isnt that aligned with their interest but due to that kind of need and survival then you would definitely be able to learn to love it as the days passing by. It all matters about on how you would be able to adapt yourself on such condition because just like been said that we cant have it all on what we do have in mind or what we do like, on which means that you will be needing up to deal up on whats front of you.

Many people are so indebted due to rent or high family expenses that they're forced to work at the same place, even if they literally hate it. And someone mentioned something interesting: mortgages are what force people to grit their teeth and live in their current circumstances. In the country where I live, people have been paying off mortgages for 30 years, and of course, they're terrified of losing their jobs, even if they hate their jobs and the conditions there with all their heart. And this isn't just happening in this country, i's happening globally.

It's true, the value of money today is so worthless that when we spend just five items, we're already gone. When we break down our purchases, we find the value, but if we take home that just a few items. What's most unbelievable is that today's salary standards no longer match the value of the goods we need for our daily needs. What's even worse is that if we live in a place that's rented, not owned. It's also confusing to see how this system is currently strangling society.

You're one of the majority that works because we have to survive. We are forced to like our jobs because it provides for our family but that situation will eventually change depending on how adaptable you are. If you have no choice, you'll stay there and will love it later on but if not, you have a plan to exit and find another job that you like more. I wish that you'll find those side hustles that suits you and will not compromise your freedom and other responsibilities.
I agree, I've worked in several jobs that don't allow to use phone and from opening til' the closing of my duty, I can only use my phone during break time. It's not a problem to me as long as I'm using my time properly when I am in the premises of the company. So if some employees are allowed to do that during their free time, that's company policy. Then if they're not allowed, they'll have to follow the rules.
