So, this guy who is a celebrity in Nigeria (assumingly) , is he??? becomes Betpawa ambassador:

Now fast forward, he posts this clip on social media, I don't know his original account,  this is a repost , he claims :

Because he’s a celebrity, his posts get a lot of trust. If he posts a “big win” and people believe it, that can influence a lot of followers. But if the win was actually from a demo account something only he and the casino know, that’s a problem.

I've been trying to register on Betpawa to validate the ID of that bet but the site keeps complaining of my current location so I left it. Again any win shown by a partner of any betting company is always regarded as fake by me. Just like the constant lies posted by Drake that he loses bets of millions. These are all fairly tales and none of them are real. It's for promotional activities so it looks like people actually win that huge on the platform and they have the ability to payout such huge amounts.

Indeed that's not a real win, many influencers are doing the same thing but with a different strategy. However since he's an ambassador in the betting platform and also a celebrity he will get alot of impressions because we know that this type of stories inspires gamblers to continue gambling whether they tok might be lucky to win huge amount too. But the funny thing is that only the ambassador continues to win and the other gamblers continues to lose.

Honestly this whole thing actually looks more like a publicity stunt than a real win. Considering Tekno just became Betpawa’s ambassador it makes perfect sense for the company to hype up his massive win as part of a marketing push. It's quite obvious this win was rigged somehow and you know promoters and influencers would do anything to make people aware of their brand hence why he was quick to share.

This is nothing more than just a clear marketing gimmick to lure in other hopefuls, but seeing it is a new gambling platform, am sure the house edge would be more relaxed so that other newbies to the platform would stay for longer, but who knows for how long.

Regardless he lie or not, he has to pay taxes to the government, 5% of $250 mil  is equivalent to $12.5m.  That is a win for the government.  If he won't pay and admit that it was all a publicity stunt then he will be accused of fraud, misleading audience into believing something that never happened.

I don't care much if it is true or not, after all his win has nothing to do with my gambling activities.  .

For me, the rule is quite clear. If an influencer is making a lot of money, there's probably something wrong. How can I trust someone whose main function is to promote things to an audience? We can't validate the authenticity of their claims but any gambler should not take this as basis of his next bets. Because we don't know their arrangements with the casino or the site they are promoting with. If it is ambassador, they surely have certain agreements with the site. So even though they are betting multi-million, maybe, there's certain percentage on how much they can really take. It is their own business, so take care of your own business when it comes to gambling.

Since the bet is made by ambassador of the betting site, I think it is an advertising/marketing only so I doubt that the bet is real. I mean real is real in the value, the money might be just a money from the betting site and the ambassador is not receiving the winning amount. Any big wins or big bets from influencer or ambassador are always questionable whether it is real or fake but for me I wont take such post seriously because it is clear that the main purpose is to promote/advertise the betting site.

Only he can prove the accuracy of the information provided. I know it's easy to manipulate data and numbers on most websites; it's possible to access the code through developer tools and change it.

I don't think anyone would bother doing this, being a well-known public figure with a reputation to uphold. I only did this as a joke to show that it's possible to manipulate numbers and information on practically any website. I know I did an amateur job, but it can be done better, and many scammers use tricks like this to deceive people. Be careful!

Looking at the ticket It shows that he actually won it as claime,  but everything is possible including posting another person win just to advertise the betpawa Casino since he is an ambassador to the site, maybe it will attract more people to sign up. From the title of the post I thought the amount he won was a quarter of a billion dollars, which would obviously be fake. That would be an amount that would bankrupt or cause severe damage to most online casinos. Then I looked up the conversion rate and realized it is less than $180k, which is more realistic but still hard to believe considering it is just a small regional casino.

The casino is trying to generate publicity in the same way Stake does with Drake. There is no way to verify everything that influencers post, but they are getting a lot of attention and some people will see it and think they can also win big.
