Perhaps they want to be rich but are unwilling to make the effort to become rich. That's pretty bad. It's even worse when the perpetrator knows that the other party doesn't know much about crypto. It's even worse when the perpetrator knows that the other party or victim is eager to get rich quick.

If the serious problem lies in people's unwillingness to learn, then we have reached a point where we can no longer help them. Even if we continue to advise them, it is a waste of our time and energy on something that will not be useful.

In my opinion most are truly not ready to learn not that they don’t actually know that learning will actually help them become better investors or traders and then even aid them to make more profit but there is this believe that gaining this knowledge will take their time which I definitely agree with but it is this time that they are unwilling to actually spend and learn and would rather want to get the profit quick.

If you look at this it is the reason why we see so many self acclaimed influencers selling trading signals and even with the ever growing number of fail trades and losses there is still some signal subscribers.

This type of scam which the OP is addressing is not a phishing scam that I can say it could be caught by mistake rather this type of scams are actually having victims which do not require empathy because they usually throw themselves into the scammers arms due to eagerness to actually make money fast and not through the learning process

There are literally thousands of churches that use faith to guilt their church followers into donating more than their means and claim that god will bless them for the generous donation they give, so it's not something new and I wouldn't be surprised if people fall for this, and I am not surprised these "religious" scammers are tapping into the cryptosphere.

I feel there are some things which religious leaders are not suppose to be involving themselves if they don’t want to lose their reputation. If you are a religious leader, just focus on your religion, preach the words of God to people, and other necessary things which you are suppose to do, but involving yourself in crypto space doesn’t make sense to me, and people like that will end up losing there reputation.

Any religious leader that recommend a coin for me to buy, then I will start suspecting the person, and at the end if the coin doesn’t perform well, then I will start thinking maybe the religious leader is also part of the project team.

Honestly, I never feel bad for people who are too naive or foolish to believe in such things in the first place. Why in the world would you trust a random person that they have received a message from God about an investment opportunity? One should have a brain to understand that if a person had actually received such a signal, they wouldn't tell others about it but make investments and become rich themselves, because they aren't going to get anything by referring others since cryptocurrencies don't give referral earnings. This the problem of modern churches but I don't blame them. It's the society that gave them the power to manipulate them. If we stand up and stop entertainment most of them the way they cause different shake in the society, I'm sure they wouldn't have the means to try and even get your attention nor give them when preaching.
