TRADING FROM 5 YEARS STILL IN 30k LOSS

I am trading crypto from past 5 years

When I was doing my Bachelors Degree I started trading and whatever I earn from freelancing I used to put in binance and do future trading.

Now after 5 years my total loss is 30k USDT

I am earning hardly 500 USDT per month from my job and recently got married

Let me know how to recover loss bcz now I also have a loan of 3k USDT on me.

You might not like what I am about to tell you but it is for your own good, trading isn't for everyone and the earlier you realise this the faster you will do something else with your time, it seems that you have been forcing yourself to do the trading for the past 5 years without getting nowhere, the capability of your brain can't handle trading and it is fine.

If I am in your shoe I would study myself very well, I don't have to know how to do everything, you still have your Job, try focusing on that to raise your family and while doing so you should put aside an amount for Bitcoin accumulation. Try buying some part of Bitcoin for the next 5 years and you will make a lot of money, you can even recover all those loses back.

Maybe there are probably some traders who mature and get skilled after years of enduring mistakes and losses. And if OP still want to prove that trading is also for him, then let him be. Maybe he is right, maybe he is wrong.

However, there are always options OP. You can make an exit from trading and start venturing something new, but this time develop your skills and strategies first before diving in, so that your losing experience from trading will not be repeated.

Five years is a long time, if you ask me. Someone who spends that much time on a single thing should become highly experienced in that thing, but if they spend so much time and still seem to fail at it, then it's clearly not for them, and they are not able to comprehend everything and that is the reason why they are not able to become consistent with it and have more success than failure in their journey. Trading is not for everyone, and this has been proven so many times by similar examples such as OP.

When you feel that you are not able to find success in something even after spending a significant amount of time trying, then you should simply understand that it's not going to work out, because if it was to work out, it would have worked out by now. OP should focus only on making investments on major cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and good altcoins, and should stop trading to avoid further losses.

It's very crystal clear that trading is not for you, mate. So, stop torturing yourself trying to make it through trading. Instead of trading, why not simply buy and hold Bitcoin or other good altcoins that can yield meaningful profits? Also, there are other valuable skills you can learn that can set you up for life, it mustn't be trading. So, forget about it and learn something else.

Although I agree with the general idea but there's no such thing as expert at trading who can miraculously have some special insight in trading.
The market is abstract and variables change everyday. You can be proficient at using trading tools but the end result is always 50:50 from my experience.

But an expert or best trader who would lose all of his capital might just be fooling around and taking unnecessary risk including being unserious and not following the procedure to trade. He perhaps knows that he is being unreasonable but decided to go on after all. He knows more than a newbie who doesn't understand STOP LOSS. I heard watched the video of some good traders who have said something about their foolish trading just to tempt the market and at times they allow the order to run in perpetuity for profit without TP and at times they run in losses. They know they are taking unnecessary risk but if a best trader doesn't know or use stop loss, he can lose all he has at the moment.

99% of all active traders are like him, go to Wallstreetbets or any other trading forum or website. Doesn't even need to be crypto or stocks, its the same for forex, options, commodoties and everything. Most traders lose money long term. Many in crypto made it because crypto went up very fast, especially alts and if you got in at the right time and got out you could of made lots of money.

Tradings stocks is much harder than crypto. Crypto is more transparent and should be easier however you are still against whales and people who have more money and knowledge than you. So you need to realise that doing this long term, especially for income to pay the bills is not feasible. Sure there are most that do make it, but most just end up losing their money and they give up.

Imagine the op still asking questions it he should continue trading when he has been trading for 5 years with 30k loss to show for it is it not a good evidence that trading is not working for him, the op is simply gambling because an investment of 30k for 5 years would have given him a good profit if he has bought Bitcoin and held it for that long instead of trading when he's losing money. There are other skills out there apart from the freelance job he is doing, all he needs is to find the best job to learn or invest money so that he will not think of going back to trading again since he is losing always there.

Many people are trading for the years in future trading which is very risky and more likely gambling because you have not anything in your custody and if you are doing research in trading then it is made for you because you can minimize the risk by your study . If you are studying then you can earn profit but you should not be greedy st any point because people are greedy in the market and they want to be rich in a day and for that kind of people trading is like gambling. You can see the speculations and you can bet on that but there is also more risk because you can lose your all Money . Always try to learn more trading which will make you trading expert and there are a lot of people who got trading from trained person and now they are rich because they are teaching to new comers in the market.

One thing you need to learn as a trader is to learn how to let go your losses and if you have it in mind to recover your losses in trading you will definitely lose more. Trade with the amount that you can afford to lose and loses should be the reason why you need to learn more and improve your trading skills to start getting a better result. And if you earn 500 dollars a month from your job, then you have a total income of $30,000 from your job in 5 years, so you lost all your money in gambling? Although it seems unbelievable to me, how do you meet your other daily expenses? There is no difference between futures trading and gambling; you basically become addicted to it. So after 5 years of continuous loss and You are still confused about whether to get exit of it. This loss cannot be recovered. You should leave here soon, as it has endangered many traders' lives.

It's very obvious, if you are losing money then quit because it will not make ends meet, specially that you have been married recently and so you need to save for the the rainy days, like having a child. Yes, on your end it seems to be a gamble, I think by year 2 or 3 you should know that it's not for you as again, it doesn't look good as you keep on losing money. As for the loans, my only suggestion is that if there are things that you can go and sell and at least pay that loan then do it. If not, then you really need to work like a double job just to be able to pay that loan and then the first job to pay for the bills and food for your family. It's  hard life, I know, and it's not fair, but you have to think forward on what you can do. Best of luck to you.

Trading requires sufficient knowledge. If there is no knowledge and skill, then no one can profit from trading. After trading for 5 years, you are in loss. My suggestion to you is that you should stop trading for now and gain more knowledge about trading. Try to find out where you were wrong. If you do not have sufficient knowledge, then holding Bitcoin without trading can be a good solution for you. It is possible to recover the amount of loss you incur if you start holding Bitcoin for the long term. Everyone who held only Bitcoin for the last 5 years has been able to earn several times the profit of their investment.

Just leave it, perhaps because you do not have enough time to learn more about trading as you still have another job, resulting in negative outcomes, and also perhaps because you are trading futures.
Since you are already working and have an income, it is better to look for another source of income with more certain results, if you continue, your earnings from your main job just like feed the trading so it's waste your money.

This clearly shows that trading is not meant for you. I am 100% sure that if you would have just invested that extra monty into bitcoin and just kept on holding then it would have made more profits over the last 5 years. So why even bother trading when you can easily make profits from just holding bitcoin.
