Does time actually affects you more than the money you uses to gamble?

I think time should affect us the more than the money we used for gambling, because the same time is what brough to us money when being utilized effectively, we cant be gambling and avoid doing other necessary things we are supposed to give more attention and expect that things should be alright, its more better to lose money than losing on the source to what could make us earn more from our time.

It depends on the games you call gambling because let say sport betting for example, you just stake your bet and move on to other things waiting for the outcome but in house games like poker slots and the rest need your active involvement which is where time comes to play, and to stay above that, one need to place some level and form of time check in form of limit, making sure you are not spending too much time on game, also same on the use of money on the casino.

I usually place bets more on weekends, because I have more time on those days to watch and think things through. But if there are major matches or important games, I can place bets regardless of the day, the most important thing is having free time, and even better, the opportunity to watch the game live. To be honest, that happens to me most of the time is that even though I use very small amount of money for gambling, I end up spending more time gambling than I should have and it often affects my work, although it hasn't become that big and I think it's still within normal limits.

It depends on what money we are talking about. I remember playing in poker free rolls that lasted for 3-4 hours with the prize pool of $10 only. Was it a wise decision to play in those? Same here, It’s very hard for me to stay gambling for a long period of time since I preferred other things that is more productive rather than gamble longer for the sake of entertainment while I can get it somewhere else without spending money.

I agree with you that losing money in gambling is more harmful than wasting time. For example, if we gamble at a time when we need to study or develop our skills or perform our job duties while working, then of course it will be a waste of time and will hinder our own career. Because gambling at an untimely time slows down our progress speed and at the same time, those in whom we see such a tendency gradually become addicted to gambling and due to this, regular gambling also becomes a habit for them, which should not be done at all.

I am the same, whenever I am out of budget I will stop. But when I've found some spare on my wallets, I'd gamble them.

And I won't come to the point that I'll use fiat to gamble and deposit it. I think that it becomes too much and that's becoming addiction when I start to do that.

Time is very precious. Time is money,  for me and really busy that I find it difficult to even spare time to gamble. To me time is very vital, it is only those that doesn't have a source of income that will see that time isn't really important. The only thing that do hinder them from gambling is lack of funds . you are right, being idle is also one of the reason why people get addicted to gambling, they don't have the time to do other things that can keep them occupied...The more time you spend gambling you lose more money and you only end up getting hooked..When gamblers lose money they get pained but they don't really know the value of time they lost because no one can ever recover time that's spent

Actually as a gambler we should be able to control ourselves and not letting the gambling controls us, whenever you began to noticed that gambling has started control people then you should know that they are gradually becoming addicted to gambling but when it's controlled it reduces them. How do you control gambling?
At first before gambling think of how much you should be using for that week and how long it should be able to serve you till you make another deposit to gambling site, but when you lesser amount the fine, you could be just focusing on the fun aspect of the gambling. There is a saying "time is money".

Time and money are both very valuable, just as time will not come back, even if money is not spent according to plan, a person can face financial problems in the future, so we should take both of these very seriously. It is natural for a person to work hard during his work and prioritize his preferences during his leisure time.
