You will see people posting the opposite on this thread because I know most other gamblers will think like me, they will gamble at anytime if they have the time, and if they have the money they can use to gamble. It is not about bull or bear market that will determine when gamblers should gamble.

my goal is to increase the amount of whichever cryptocurrency i'm gambling with. if you want to get away from that cryptocurrency when the price is going to fall, you shouldn't get involved with crypto in the first place. gambling always aims to increase the amount of something you have, but if you don't have enough cash to buy more crypto when the price falls, you can still gamble to increase the amount.

we can't say the market is bearish right now. we're only about 20% away from the all-time high, and we can say the price has started to recover a bit. so you can keep gambling

I personally don't play when the value of the tokens drop, I usually play in gambling site that has a minimum bet of $0.02 in their dice game and honestly when I deposit crypto, I don't look the value of it in USD and my goal is to accumulate as much many token as possible, so when the market crash the more coins I needed to place bet in order to meet the minimum bet requirements and in general I don't really usually want to spend my coins when it's at low I would more likely hold it than spend it anywhere.

During a bearish market, one's mindset is unstable when in loss and is not advisable to use such mindset to gamble with the purpose of trying to recover what was lost as more could be lost.

Gambling season is not determined by the crypto market but gambling with the wrong mentality is where the problem might be.
Staying focused, detaching emotions and betting on small stakes to minimize losses should be put in place so as not to lose out completely.

I gamble whenever I want, more especially since I use USDT to gamble when on a crypto casino and not BTC so the condition of the market doesn't really disturb me  else I may be having some mixed feelings when the markets are down because I would be having a lower value for the coins I have kept for gambling purposes.

Somehow it doesn't really matter because a disciplined gambler separates his gambling funds from his main income ASAP he gets an inflow, so he may not be bothered since the funds is kept explicitly for gambling. For me, if I have BTC for it, I change it to USDT and keep it pending the time I would fund my gambling account.

My gambling is not controlled by market reaction. Most of the time my deposit is always done through stablecoin, or I use fiat, which is one of the means I have been using to fund my account. Those who might react to the market could be those who use either Bitcoin or altcoins to gamble, for which they will have to think about the market value before they make any decision.

Playing while the market dips is more difficult because of the options: whether you want to buy more crypto or keep playing. You don't want to miss a buying opportunity, which means you'll need more money than usual, and that may affect other spending. In my case, my gambling budget is now shrinking since I allocate more money to buying cheap crypto, but I still play, even if it's only 50% of my usual budget. I still remember winning big during a market dip, and I used the prize money to buy the dip, which eventually earned me a nice sum of money

Anyway, another suggestion is to play with stablecoins so you don't have to worry about price fluctuations while playing. Sometimes it's annoying when you're winning but still can't reach your target because your coins dip.

I play regardless of the condition of crypto market since I use stablecoins most of the time when gambling but I do decrease my bankroll since I accumulate Bitcoin during bear market which I use part of my bankroll to purchase token and the remaining is for my gambling.

Entertainment from crypto casino is not affected by the market for me, In fact it motivates me to gamble just to accumulate more funds that I can use to purchase more token.

It depends on what crypto you're going to use. If it's with stable coins, that's not even a big problem to begin with.

But I think those who are concerned when they gamble during the market bears, they're conscious of how much they'd be able to gamble with because of the price that's currently low.

And if the market rises up and gets back on bull, many would say that it's the best time to gamble because you're gambling with few in quantity while keeping most of the wealth you're holding.

A reversed question to the one you asked is that, does bear market prevents a gambler from winning? The answer is nope, bear market does not prevent winning. Meaning that anyone that wants to gambler during bear market can still comfortably do that without complaining, except for a gambler who has intentions of holding unto their coins since the price has dropped, but if not, I will still bet with crypto if I had to.

Why not? What difference does it make whether the market is bullish or bearish if I just want to play a little for fun? I deposit a small amount of Bitcoin and keep playing my goal is simply to increase the number of Bitcoins I have. If the market is bearish right now, it’s no problem it doesn’t bother me at all. If I can play well and increase my Bitcoins, then after the bearish market comes a bullish one, and my coins will be worth even more. So I don’t see anything wrong with that.

I don’t see why people will stop gambling just because it’s bear market while gamblers use stablecoins as currency when gambling therefore there’s no difference at all when gambling during bullish or bearish season.

The only time I will stop gambling during bearish season is when my holdings is trapped on altcoins that already dump hard since I preferred holding it rather than just gamble it away.

Because of the impacts it has on my crypto I tend to not use crypto as my deposit method and just wait for it to recover back because I’d consider using it.

But as for gambling as a whole, the state of the market doesn’t really affect whether to gamble or not for me, if the market is bearish and it’s affecting my portfolio I simply would just let them be and switch to a local casino and deposit fiat there and continue my activities I don’t rely entirely on crypto casinos and again some crypto casinos allow you to deposit fiat or buy USD directly in the site by just making regular deposits or by making use of a third party app, so it’s not really a big deal for me.

If you're worrying with the bearish trend. Why don't you just use stable token for gambling instead of volatile alts? I'm being so speechless with your question like what? Plenties of casino include stake accepted the stable token deposit from the scalable blockchain that will cost you less than 11 cents for every transaction.
Sell your alts for stable, and gambling with it. I'm sure bearish trend won't bother you.

Bearish Ave bullish doesn't matter to me as long as long as I stay in budget and audio I use stablecoins for crypto gambling and not a volatile coin. Most gamblers wouldn't care so much as long as they stay on budget . It would be ridiculous though for a gambler to fund more than reserved for gambling to achieve same deposit value kept before the market became bearish.

Personally if I keep funds in Bitcoin for gambling for example , I'll convert it to stable coins immediately the markets starts dumping or fund my deposit balance with it to prevent further loss of value.

Those that are into crypto are motivated to gamble during the bull run because every win they earn would be doubled due to the increase in the market value but looking at it from a different direction, aren't gamblers supposed to gamble with Crypto more during the dip? Since the is low and their main aim is to make profit why not chase it when the price is low to get a higher value? What do you think about this

So what if your desired games are not scheduled when the chart drops but when it turns red like you described? You'll forgo those opportunities and wait for the rates to level up, and then miss your games? We all have our perfect time to bet on games, but nobody made it compulsory that every gambler depends on cryptocurrencies alone, for this same reason.

I don't understand your point. Why would bear affect my state of mind more then bull when it comes to gambling? Wouldn't it make less sense to play in crypto casinos during the bull market, when you can literally just win more (in fiat value) by holding?

During these years in crypto, volatility isn't affecting me in same ways as it used to. I mean i still feel it, but i also expect it because swings have happened countless of times already. But imho gambling is just something separate from crypto markets and it's my time to tune out from it and relax. I don't think about it during my gym, or when i am talking with friends or while watching a movie either.

When the market is going to a bear market, it is rather the time to consolidate positions and get coins at discount, it does not necessarily have something to do with my timing to gamble/bet or to save my money.
If the market is up I continue to have the same budget I have to gamble and bet on my favorite sports.

Though, I have seen people who prefer to gamble in bears markets, probably because (in their minds), their tokens have less value, so it would be okey if they lose them anyways. That is a point of view which I don't share, though... in the long term those tokens will recover and even surpass its value when the bull market comes back.
