That's true. I wanted to send a deposit to try the casino but due to a mistake on my part I ended sending less than $5 that I could see on my account as soon as it was confirmed. AFAIK many casinos don't accept deposits so low, they consider them as dust and don't credit them into your account. Smooth experience as well.

ETH fee has gotten so much cheaper than before—I think one part is because of the fusaka update? I'm pretty sure I saw $0.00 transaction fee when I tried to withdraw in Duel.com. Looking into my withdrawal TX, it only paid $0.002767 for network fee, thus I think it was too small to even show up LOL.

Overall, still a pretty sweet deal to me.

I didn’t get his point too as I can’t see how level-1 verification or full identity verification upon registration or before allowing you to make your first deposit can protect you from getting scammed!
If they want to scam you then they will do it regardless of whether you have verified your account or not.
In any case, most crypto gamblers (who value their privacy) consider not asking for identity verification an advantage and not a drawback.

You’re actually at more risk once you submit documents for KYC, especially if the casino turns out to be shady. It’s not just about not getting withdrawals being on hold, your documents could get leaked online, your identity could be exposed, and worst case, those documents might even be used for illegal stuff.

The fact some networks cost $0.00 for withdrawals is already a big thing in favor of the casino. I see some casinos charge high fees even for networks like solana where the fee is less than 1 cent, so they profit even from this.

It's not a must, but many official accounts just want to post the announcement and maybe some more posts answering questions. They do not want to waste time making posts to rank up. For just $30 they can buy copper and get done with any the requirements to post beautiful ann topics.

For duel they already said they do not want any images for the ann and want to keep everything simple.

They allow you to register without email, but you can select Email (optional) and put your email when creating the account. Or after also add the email in your profile page

What I said is that doing so became a standard practice. It’s not just a way to make their accounts more recognizable and gain more privileges (which are not available for newbies) like the ability to post images, but also because it’s a way to say thank you to this forum that allows them to promote their service for free.

I think if you do not do this you can not recover the account automatically and need to contact the support, because when you click the forgot password link you need to input the email address

If you don't provide an email address for maximum privacy, the problem is that if you lose or forget your login details, you won't be able to access your account, especially if you use Tor. I don't know if you use a regular browser and forget your login details, they would do you the favor of restoring your access by identifying your IP address, but that would be quite dumb. It's better to use an email address, especially if you're going to play regularly or depending on the amounts involved. After all, if you use an email address created just for casinos and things like that, created with Protonmail, for example, it's also very private.
