Not only that. After I wrote the post I thought that my reasoning was actually incorrect because a EuroMillions bet costs €2.50, while this Duel winner started with $0.01, meaning that, in terms of magnitude, the Duel bet was much luckier than hitting 5+0 in the EuroMillions.

Actually they do, if you're going to click the deposit and "Buy Crypto" you have an option to buy cryptocurrency, though they are using a third party service https://swapped.com/ but if you talking about withdrawals, yes they only allow you to withdraw using cryptocurrency. I think you can just find a third party service or P2P in exchange site to withdraw your cryptocurrency, however it would took a lot of steps just to withdraw your money to fiat. Anyway, I just saw some good matches today and I see that Duel is one of the sites that has some good odds, might be back to deposit again in this platform.

It's just a way to conveniently buy crypto off a 3rd party service. If one goes through that option, cryptocurrencies are essentially still deposited to one's account. It is totally different from casinos who actually support fiat payment channels.
