Inflation goes up and down, it is not just growing. And it is a common thing to see people believe the past was better, it is human nature even though past was never better, wanting to go back in time, invent time machines, and so on. There were much higher inflations in the past too and as I said it goes up and down.

Inflation in a country is blamed on the governance of that country. Secondly the lack of resources of that country and thirdly the interference of another country in the internal affairs of that country.

If the government of a country runs the country on the basis of fairness and is not corrupt, then that country can be transformed into a developed country in a very short time. If the budget allocation in the field of education is increased and the citizens of that country can be educated in job oriented education, that country can become financially self sufficient.

If a country does not have any natural resources and the number of citizens is large, then inflation can occur. If there is no fertile soil for crop production, then it becomes difficult for the government of that country to keep the wheels of the economy moving, which results in inflation.

Most of the inflation in a country is blamed on the monetary policy of the foreign country. Because some developed countries implement tariff policies and put that country in financial risk. In addition, the government of that country imposes additional taxes on its citizens to meet the conditions set by the IMF which results in inflation. As far as I know, inflation will continue to exist, but it must be properly controlled. I once read that inflation is like blood sugar in the human body, as it's needed to produce energy. So when sugar is too high we face diabetes when it's too low we face hypoglycemia. So inflation is indeed necessary but on a measured scale and can be well controlled, just like blood sugar in the body.

Unfortunately inflation is sometimes intentionally uncontrolled because many elites want inflation to continue creating money. That's why we shouldn't put too much trust in the government, as most of them can't properly control inflation. Sometimes i see it inflation as the fault of the Government, when a country is not producing anything and get all boarders closed why then will things not be high, things will go high because everything will be imported. Inflation is high in Nigeria this is due to the little things you just mentioned, when the price of petrol is high transportation also increase and this also affect the price of other things. The current economic situation is actually very hard, but I don't think that there is a way to eliminate inflation completely and permanently, but it if the government is willing to work or perform their duties and obligations in other to bring changes in the country that will contribute to the growth and development of the communities, societies and country at large, they have possible ways to manage and control inflation. But it is very obvious that the government are busy finding a way to balance or stabilise their lives and that of their families, neglecting and ignoring the cries of the Citizens. Inflation have eaten into the system and it is now as if it does no longer have solution, the only thing that is now available is for us to mitigate that is we have to live with it and that it why you have to even look for other means to invest your money before it devalues because the price of things keep going up and currencies are losing there values so the only way out is to invest it, so that the value of the stored value will keep increasing that is the only way to beat the situation.

Based on research, inflation just started during Alexander the great's time. I don't know if I want to go in details but whoever started it there, it seems that it's been passed on until this time. And there probably has a slow down of it during the past years a century or more ago. In present time, it has become a permanent thing that before it's like a yearly report, now it's become a monthly thing.
