I don't do drugs maybe because I quit gambling on time and you said something that gambling is fun and we should do it with free head to enable us manage the risk, that was the point am trying to signal out because huge losses can be frustrating and even give you a wrong stigma on where to get more money to retaliate but I love you points and is very clear of statement. Not me, not probably you and the others here as well. If there are gamblers who are doing drugs and gambling at the same time, they're mostly not in the forum and they're minding their own business and not telling it in the discussions. I'm proud to say that I have never been involved with any of it, never took and tried it. I guess those who enter into such deals are the ones who are desperate and have nothing to do in life and have decided to be a dealer because they see that it's where quick money come and go. But even so, I'll not get into it. I'm fine being in a losing streak and still in the right mind.

I was curious on my last post where someone said drugs has nothing to do with gambling, from my end drugs contribute alot when it comes to gambling because intensive gambling needs some certain morals or weird feelings to condole heavy weight losses or even withstand the pressure of losing in a hot seat of gamblers. Imagine someone uses half of life savings and bet into games and you fail at that point you need hard substances to clear your head off the loss. People who are into gambling eventually deal on drugs as well as part of the business deals and game. Avoid drugs, avoid gambling if you can't withstand your health while.

Drugs and gambling are two different things and it will be wrong to link gambling to drugs. There are gamblers that are not drugs addict , infact they don't take drugs. There are also drugs addict that don't gamble so it will be wrong to say that gambling and drugs are the same. However, someone that is addicted to drugs can also be push into becoming an addicted gambler.Therefore , we can say that drugs addict are easily addicted to gambling.

There is no direct connection to drugs, what the OP explained is that indirectly there is a possibility that gambling can lead to drug addiction and in my opinion that is very far away, the closest is criminal activity, where someone is more desperate to steal in order to have money to gamble, and drugs are still too far from being related to gambling.

You're correct excessive of gambling can make one to start having the mindset of stealing maybe when he have used up the money that he kept aside for gambling maybe he don't have any other means of getting money he can start developing this feeling of stealing ones belongings or property to gamble. But if it's drug addiction i would say that drug addiction doesn't have any relationship with gambling, I can only agree with you if you say that gambling can lead one into getting drunk because I have seen a gambler who got depressed and decided to take some bottles to clear his head, right now as we speak he's addicted to drinking of alcohol so this are the things which I know gambling can lead one into.

If you think about it they can actually be connected but it's not always the case because not everyone that's addicted to gambling abuses these substances. Drug addiction and gambling can actually be separate from each other.  Some gamblers gamble and deal with losses differently, taking drugs is a choice but stats shows that a significant number of gamblers are drug users but the problem with this is that a lot of non gamblers assume that every gambler out there is addicted to taking hard drugs but that's not really accurate

It is natural for many people who gamble excessively or who gamble professionally to take drugs, but I do not agree with the thought that gambling should be associated with drugs. There are many who are addicted to gambling but still have no involvement with drugs. There are some gamblers who have to continue both gambling and drugs. Gamblers may sometimes take drugs to forget the regret of their losses, but there is no way to consider gamblers need to drugs.

for me not really true that drugs has no relationship with gambling maybe for some people, its separate but in real life its really so many cases that they stick together when someone is already deep into gambling especially high-stakes or type all-in life savings too much pressure and stress. I don’t think these two are related directly. The meting out of stress from or pressure of losses varies from individual before gambling to sleep and relax or just stay away from the game for a little while. It’s not the case that every gambler would therefore have an encounter with drugs.

A major loss, then seeking solace in bad stuff that’s pretty much on you and not the fault of gambling leading straight into drugs. Bingo! That right there is where knowledge comes in: if you’ve already screwed up and made the error of gambling too much, do not make it a much huger error. Gambling addiction and drug addiction are truly distinct. Yes, they might overlap in some cases, but this doesn't link or attract them. A drug addict can be addicted and not enjoy gambling, or a gambler can be addicted to betting without ever having tried drugs or alcohol.

Gambling can actually make someone to still, more especially when you lack good job. And can even make someone sell off some of your personal belongings in other to gamble.
An addicted gambler can go any lent while gambling, you might think something is attached to it, but is just a cultivated habit that might be difficult to stop.

Somebody who takes drugs can be gambling and that does not he is takin it under the influence of gambling.

Drinking alcohol is allowed inside a casino but if someone got wasted or even gets aggressive, they will be banned for the night in most of casinos, so there is no reason for someone to get addicted to drugs just because of a casino.

While people who lost their life savings got into frustration and trying to do something that takes away the thought of becoming a failure could be a reason, but if they are not involved in gambling but faced a serious loss in their business or got fire,d still they will choose that way of escaping from the reality.

If the person was a drug addict before he join gambling, the drugs would motivate him to gamble more because he wan to win and use the winning to buy drugs and if he was gambling before becoming a drug addict, it would not like the way would have came with it. Someone can be a drug addict yet he is not gambler and someone who is addicted to gambling might not be a drug addict so they have have different character but they can motivate one another.

Indeed drugs has nothing to do with gambling, not every gambler is a drug addict. People look at those that deal with gambling addiction and just conclude that they are drug users whereas that might not be the case. Not everyone turns to drugs or uses it to condole heavy weight losses, you must understand that people deal with losses differently, some go on a walk and others just talk to people about it

I can't fathom why anyone would hold such a view. I understand the negative impacts of both addictions are nearly identical, primarily because they destroy lives. But that doesn't mean gamblers are also drug addicts. That's just a spontaneous thought, perhaps only for those who truly hate gambling and drugs.
I can't imagine what life is like for someone addicted to both gambling and drugs; it's terrifying enough just to imagine it.

Yeah most folks takes drugs for sure ,to ease their pains after a big loss .I believe it's all about their psychology and not every one who are into gambling actually deal with drugs . those who get their self into such are either drug dealers and so on  but regardless of the consequences ,to them it's has become a habit . that's why as a gambler if you fill the pressure of loss is getting too much just relax for a while before you will  later resume. for me taking drugs is no where compulsory because he or she knew that  betting is all about probability there is and was no guarantee of the funds... so that's just it ......

I know the person who addicted to gambling and drugs at the same time that before got the addicted he is rich people who have good bussiness and good income but the habit to gambling and drugs make he poor in the short term besides that i know my friend who never touch drugs in his lifetime but he can be considered as heavy addicted from gambling

What you’re saying is possible, dude, but gambling and illegal drugs can both lead to addiction. What’s not good is when an individual ends up adopting both, because aside from the
impact on their mental condition, they can also both become tools that lead to crime in the end.

Even with gambling addiction alone, the results are already not good; and if you add illegal drugs on top of that, I think that becomes a very high level of addiction,
because in my opinion, it would be really difficult to recover from that kind of situation.

We can gamble on our own and this is not something bad, it only an individual determination on how to engage in having fun, while the use of drugs is not ideal and we should not take drugs in other to instigate us into gambling or with the intention to forget our penury of losses made in gambling, addiction on the two is the worst one could do, because its a fast track way to end life as it has been mentioned by other members, we have to be a responsible gambler and not the type that is into frugs.

I don't think drugs have a connection with gambling. While some gamblers do use drugs, it's irrelevant. Some gamblers simply gamble as a way to make life challenging and a bit more enjoyable after facing the realities of working life. They enjoy a little fun. But for those who are addicted to drugs, they are an escape from life's problems which can then become an addiction. Initially, gambling was simply entertainment for those who wanted to have a little fun with their money, such as betting on football matches on the weekend after a tiring week at work and celebrating their holiday. However, never risk your entire savings and assets on gambling it's tantamount to ending your life.

The only thing drugs and gambling have in common is a toxic addiction.
Otherwise they don't go hand in hand, they are two completely different things, I gamble and in any case I don't believe it damages my economy or my person.
Drugs even in small amounts are still something that causes damage to our bodies, so they are two completely different addictions and it is not a given that being drugged is a gambler or vice versa.
