I think even though it's not completely clean, at least it's 90%-95% clean and their influence didn't change the result who win the league. So, what we see who became the champion, they really deserve it because it's all of their hard work, not by working together with mafia and the champion was chosen by the mafia.

Well, I've always believed that every league is fixed at some level, this is how they make money to keep things going as we the fans want things going, there are more to every league than we ourselves see or even feel, let's not forget that we live in a world where anything is possible, people are ready to do anything, sacrifice anything, maim anything just to make money, money rules this world, and it's those who have it that have power..

No league is 100 percent clean if I must be honest with my opinion, and remember that common saying that everyone is a thief in some way, but then, it's only those who are caught that are truly convicted as thieves..
If any scandal comes up in any league today, I will never be surprised because I have zero trust for every one of them, alot of things we may consider to be very terrible happen inside this leagues which they do not let out..

I dont get it why people risk their career and life because of gambling, they are willing to make small wins with gambling and then the result is ruining their life had now. For sure the NBA comittee will do take an action with them as a sanction and of course they are a large name into the world of sports and just one player just ruin their name for sure is aint acceptable at all.

It might be not clean, but I think it's about a small percentage even less that one percent could have been involved with the mafia or players colluding with others to try and fix the game. And with this kind of exposure, I don't think that players will involved themselves just for a small amount of money.

They are earning millions every year so I don't think that the right player will try to do this. But as the saying goes, in every organization or league like the NBA there could be a small number of bad eggs like Porter recently or the referee and now ex player and coach Billups and Rozier.

Okay, let’s say it’s not clean. It may not be clean, but it’s not totally unclean either, not even half. Mafia involvement in many things is like an open secret. There’s always some conspiracy connected to them. Honestly, it’s not surprising that there are players involved in such things. This is a question that I keep on asking myself each time when I read any of these news on a player that was caught in a match fixing scandal. I mean these guys have the money and the potential to become the best in their field which will bring in more money. But they choose to get involved in illegal stuff that they know fully well that when caught, their careers is gone. It is either someone is influencing them negatively or they their greed and love for money is uncontrollable.

Yes this is true, it's a big business and we are really not sure which are true or what's really happening behind the curtains. I'm not sure but based on the article you've posted, he involved himself to mafia and give insider information but the mafias can't control the game itself since elites are more powerful but there's no way we can really tell which are true but for me big leagues are harder to manipulate. We can be outraged, write complaints, and look for video evidence showing moments of intentional losing when there are agreements involved. Two sides of the story, for us that are not affected, then we can say that it's fine. But once we bet on a game and then later on voided because it was found that it is rigged and game fixed then we might be affected at all and blame the league or the people behind.

If one league gets exposed, it might make other leagues' credibility questioned. These sport leagues consist of overly rich people. Politics always happen at the top. But let us focus on NBA first. Fans are going to start looking back at specific matches and wonder whether that has been manipulated or not. Everyone is going to be wary of the league which is bad for their reputation. They are going to have to implement something to re-assure fans.

Honestly, for the NBA actually this is obviously still very popular but when talking about betting conditions like this obviously always become a stumbling block and one of the reasons why I am rarely in NBA betting sometimes it is a situation like this that makes lazy.

Not that overall it is broken but for the NBA cases like this are not one or 2 times but often where players are even directly involved with the underworld or even certain gambling sites just for their own benefit.

But the mafia can do anything without the public knowing so they can run their plan according to their main plan. That sounds crazy but that happens although we try to investigate but that is not easy.

They can hide their activities behind the wall. No one will know what they do because they bribe many people related to that league.
