I think I will probably choose both of them if I don’t have a job, considering that i will need money for my discretionary income to invest in bitcoin, and you will actually have a need for money to pay your bills so whichever way it goes you just have to understand that business is good and also making investments in bitcoin is also good, we prefer to have a job actually, but in the sense that we don’t have a job we would also have to make some business decisions for survival, but I must say that Bitcoin isn’t used for survival and you don’t get quick gains or profits from Bitcoin immediately, you rather invest in Bitcoin for the future or you start trading Bitcoin which I must say it’s absolutely a bad way of approaching Bitcoin, but it’s either you have a job or you have a business, but you can’t compare investing in Bitcoin and business into the same categories.

I don't think you need to choose BTC over a daily business hustle.  The point of BTC is to give you something to save in that won't be devalued.  Sure, you might be able to take some risk and get lucky, but that isn't exactly a replacement for income.  The best way is to work a job and use your skills to earn money, and then save that money in something like Bitcoin that won't be devalued away to nothing over time.  It doesn't have to be Bitcoin either.  It could be any asset that you feel would be a better place to park value than fiat currency.

Not really, working at your comfortable place doesn't mean it's about laziness. Imagine, some people in the corpo world are just having fun in work and doesn't stress out because they're having a good work place so it's just the same with those people who work online and besides it's more profitable than being a corpo slave. Imagine you have a work life balance, not stressed, you can able to do such things like recreational activities to maintain a good mental health and stuff, while earning money. That's how new generations want right now and it's a good thing, not a bad thing, it's an innovation about working and you can't call it laziness. Also, if you really want to hustle hard, then you have plenty of time to do things while having an online job. That's the reason why I also resigned to my job when I'm already earning at crypto, I can do a lot of things and of course I went to the path that makes me happy and enjoy my hobbies, including monetizing my hobbies ofc.

If you have another job or means of income, you will not stay at home to be seen as jobless person because you are working and you are doing well for yourself.

But in this condition of no job after school, you will have no choice than to work from home since this crypto space has brought the opportunity for us to have something doing to stop relying on government that have no plan for us in Africa. Unlike other developed countries where you will be guarantee you a job even before you finish school, but you will have good grades and still stay at home with no job after graduation from university.

I prefer to stay at home with my privacy and work from home to get paid in BTC than using myself for some organizations that don’t value you.

I don’t think I can leave my employment for bitcoin trading or investment, because I can still involve myself in trading, bitcoin investment and I will still be doing my job. When am trading it doesn’t take much time for me to do my analysis and  enter a trade, so I can still do that even when am back from my work place. If am investing, i  think that’s still the easiest, because I have a specific amount which I do use to buy bitcoin, and I know when I do buy the bitcoin, so in few minutes I will do that.

Both trading and investment won’t affect my job in any way, so I will have to leave my comfort zone and get something doing, not that what am earning is so big, but even if it’s small, I can still make use of it to solve some problems.

No. I personally don't. I tried it at some point and at the time I thought I could leave my regalar job for good and do only crypto trading. But then I realised that it's more like gambling: if you don't risk big amounts, you can't win anything big, most of the time. Finally I got bored with it and returned to my "street business hustling", as you call it.

Same experience here. I took the risk before, and I can say, its not all worth it. Your permanent job should remain your job, while side hustles should also remain like that, that's what I realized. And now, I'm working on both, and it works for me even better.

However, this is just my personal experience and I have no intention to discourage others if they want to focus on bitcoin. Just settle on where you are more suitable and comfortable doing so.

People who working for online jobs is not laziness because i am sure the people who have worked like this is very focus and probably their job hour is pretty much compared to offline job but indeed because online job can do it at home those who don't understand will thought the people like this is jobless

Everyone of us need a job or business to earn fiat currency for our daily living, our lives are dependent on fiat. But at the same time we need to do something for our future too, when our kids grow up or in case we need money to meet emergency requirements. The best thing we can do is to invest in sectors that grow with time and beat inflation. Bitcoin is just one option, there are many other areas that can give you good return like equity. It's up to us which sector we chose for investment, based on our abilities and interest but we we must not delay it.

There is always a saying "work smart don't work hard". No one likes stress so why hit the street and discomfort yourself when you can comfortably work from home.

This is the part I'm trying to inculcate in my kids. Even if they aren't into tech or cryptos like me, they should be able to make career choices that will enable them work from any part of the world without restrictions and earn nicely from what they do.

Yes I know that in Africa when you don't go out daily to work you're tagged to a lazy person or tagged as fraudster if you are doing well for yourself and you're not seen going to work.

I bet, what most of us call real jobs are 8–5 jobs. So, you don't think contracted Web3 jobs, freelancing or even crypto trading is a real job? For me, that tag of real job means nothing. What should matter and should be the determinant of a real job is what one makes from it and how steady that income comes. If you interview those who work 8–5 if they would swap places for online jobs, a lot of them would say yes if they had the required skills for it.

It's up to each person to decide, but honestly, I advise people not to just focus on bitcoin and consider it as their main job or source of income. I have seen a lot of people fall into a rut when they quit their outside jobs to focus on trading and investing in bitcoin. Many people fall into a state of stress, anxiety and have to go back to looking for another job to make a living.

I don't know if anyone has achieved that yet, but I have yet to see anyone get a better experience and life by quitting their day job and going full time into bitcoin. Therefore, I advise everyone not to follow that path, as too many people have failed and considered it a mistake.

Admittedly, bitcoin is an opportunity and a great financial instrument, but it is not a wise idea to completely depend on it and devote all your time to it.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and an asset, it is not a job that you will get steady income for daily survival so it is ideal that while you are holding Bitcoin for profit you should also get a steady Job. Your steady job can be online because a lot of jobs are done online in this internet generation, some can pay in Bitcoin but Bitcoin on its own don't normally give quick profit. There are crypto related jobs online like trading and vendors in a CEX they are all jobs that can be done from anywhere, if you you don't want a physical job you can learn numerous online skills to be earning from your home. I agree with you, we should take advantage of current technological advances to earn money from home without having to think like people in the past with the formalities of working to earn money. I think times have changed, Nowadays no matter how we do it as long as we have an income that's enough.

I prefer both home and outdoor areas to earn money. It is not that people will become lazy if they work online from home. Because even working online, you have to keep yourself active all the time. For this, discipline is definitely needed. Managing everything at home and how many hours you will work daily is part of discipline.

However, if someone thinks working from home is bad, that is their own business. You should not feel small because of someone's words or actions. Because if you do not have any source of your own income, it is not possible to run yourself with help from anyone.

And it is not right to consider Bitcoin trading as a way to earn. Because living depends on short-term trading.

Anything can happen that will make your plan not to come through in your trading or investment, because bull run always bring opportunity for traders and investors to earn profit. Both BTC trading and BTC investment, don't depend on them as your only source of income because they are volatile, they can change at anytime to make you lose what you have gain before or make you earn what you have lost before.

You know that life is about choice and people have their graces in different ways or areas because so many people are being favored through their business and some are being favoured through Bitcoin,so that is why you are going to have a different opinion and that's how life is,in my own opinion i prefer Bitcoin investments and trading if only i am well favoured in the crypto space like i have mentioned earlier, but if I am not favoured i will chose my daily business income, reason been that as a common Man investment is something that has to do with time in order to meet your plan targets and trading is another thing entirely that one can never predict at all which is not good for a common Man especially if you're not favoured or being experienced enough in trading , but daily business income one can be generating on a daily basis and it has lesser risky compared to trading or investing..
