I would never ask someone to leave their current business and enter bitcoin trading full time. Why not do both and help each other out?

Investing bitcoin is not an everyday thing. You buy everytime the price drops which can take weeks or months. Till then you need to accumulate fiat to fund that cost. Unless you have money for that you cannot get that BTC either.

So anyway you need a stable source of income to fund your "unstable" sources as well.

Yes, it's about consistency.

And someone who's consistent is going to beat that enthusiasts that doesn't apply what they're telling to others.

There are many of those who have been enthusiastic about bitcoin but never DCAs and are waiting for it to be lower because they have their own targets on it.

But those who are consistent and whether they're newbies or not, they're doing better than them who have been telling to buy but they never apply it to themselves.

Progress doesn't come cheap, and we need to act up if we want to see it.

It applies to everybody, newbies and vets alike.
And it comes with a lot of poor decisions and expensive mistakes.

I know it because I've been there but later on, it's worth it because that's how we've made it. Someone who hasn't experienced a lot in the market might say it's easy.

Yeah, it will become easy after you go through the process and you'll be thankful and happy with that after it.

It's a symbiosis of sorts if done properly, fiat sustains your accumulation and it, in turn, sustains your value being preserved through the years to come. I agree with you.

Because many people get lucky and accidentally make a decent amount of money from bitcoin trading in a short period of time. They get hooked and start having crazy thoughts that trading is quite easy, and if they dedicate all their time to it. They will earn more money and be successful sooner.

This is a common reason why many people quit their outside jobs to become full-time traders.

Investing in Bitcoin is not a matter of weeks or months, sometimes it takes years to make a profit. So it would be crazy to turn trading or investing in bitcoins into a daily job to earn income.

In my opinion, having a job with a source of income is a must for every bitcoin investor. Because only then we have money to invest and can hold bitcoin until we make a profit.

For some cases, it works out, however, I do think there are much more cases of such switch-up going wrong and draining the person in question.

Mainly, because they move on their nerves and guts, not on analysis that much, and they may get their portfolio wrecked if they do mistakes, some would be enough for them to see how much they can lose..

Nope, bitcoin is a side hustle for me and no matter how much I make from it, will stay as a side hustle for me. Trading/investing into bitcoin or alts is not something that I want to do full time, it is not really feeling great. My soul wants to create somethings, no matter what it is, I want to create and because of that bitcoin is not the way to live for me.

Bitcoin is just way for us to make some money and nothing more, but making money isn't the only thing in life that matters, it's a very important thing but not the most important thing, which is why I try to avoid being in this situation for too long. If I can do both creation and also bitcoin then I am happy, and in most cases when I have money I do both together.

To do something one you would need to push harder down the line to acquire better position - more experience on said job.

It's possible, but it's a hard way to go, in any field.

Many prefer self employed job while other love privacy job, in Africa if you're always inside house people tag you jobless and even you're comfortable they might conclude to be into yahoo. Now that BTC has become major means of survival many youths prefer to be indoors doing their stuffs. Does this connotes that online job like BTC and others is contributing to laziness and lost of apathy to work? Do you personally prefer this Bitcoin trading and investment over leaving your comfortable zone to street business hustling or employment?
Bitcoin is not an online job, even though you are into Bitcoin trading, from P2P or whatever, you must need a capital before you can do so.  As a matter of facts, I use Bitcoin for means of investment, I invest with DCA method, I don't panic when the price is low and I don't also get excited when the price is high either because I haven't gotten the figures I want yet.
However, even though I'm indoors I must have something to do, there are many online jobs out there so anyone who pictures those who work from home as fraudster, it means they are still living like those in 1890s.

As for me, I will chose the both because without means of making money I can not invest into Bitcoin.

For beginners who are just starting to dive into Trading or Investing in Bitcoin it becomes a necessity to still have a source of income in real life, but not for those who have long been involved in Bitcoin or Crypto as a whole.
Back then when I was still a beginner around 2015 and got to know what Bitcoin was, I was still working at a well-known company. Instead of wanting to stay in the company as long as possible, my superior caused trouble that made me uncomfortable working there.

Even though working at that company I already considered a side job without thinking about any position, because I was actually already in a comfortable zone in the Crypto field, especially in Trading. Even so I actually considered the job at that company as my form of dedication, because I got to know Bitcoin from that company’s computer.

But fate said otherwise after exactly 10 years I left the company and now I only work in front of the computer at home.
Eat–Sleep–Bitcoin–Repeat.

First of all Bitcoin is not an online job as you claimed, Bitcoin is money in digital form, just like our fiat currency. And  I don't even know where people are getting this mentality that Bitcoin is an online job very bad mentality. See the primary reason why Bitcoin was created is  transact with it, pay for goods and services because it's money in digital form. it was when people discover that Bitcoin is store of value with potential returns, that they start holding it for long term as a form of investment, but that's doesn't still mean that Bitcoin is an online job as you claimed. People also trade Bitcoin and make quick money from it, but trading Bitcoin doesn't still make it an online job as you claimed, so better wake up, from this your mentality, because Bitcoin is money not an online job.

Many people in our forum are earning income and getting paid in bitcoin. This misleads them into thinking that bitcoin is creating jobs and providing them with income. But in fact, it is the forum and companies (casinos) that create jobs and income for us, and they use bitcoin as a means of payment instead of fiat money.

Likewise, trading is not a job nor is it new, it has been around for decades before bitcoin and crypto came into existence. But many people have never been involved in any financial markets before, and bitcoin trading is their first and only environment. This also makes them think that bitcoin trading is also a kind of job.

Yes, bitcoin is just money, a means of payment, it is not an online job and it does not create jobs.

That will never be a good advice to newbies to leave their daily business to focus on bitcoin only that is volatility, but nothing stop newbies doing business and still investing in bitcoin because long term holding is what is making bitcoin investors to be productive than other business men out there, you can sell your bitcoin to improve your business, and you can also make income from your business and invest some part in bitcoin,  this is how some investors take improve themselves to become favourable investors in the community today, have other source of income is not a bad advice, but if you are not financially strong you can continue with your bitcoin investment.

There is always a saying "work smart don't work hard". No one likes stress so why hit the street and discomfort yourself when you can comfortably work from home. Yes I know that in Africa when you don't go out daily to work you're tagged to a lazy person or tagged as fraudster if you are doing well for yourself and you're not seen going to work.

Bitcoin investment and trading is not supposed to be seen as a real job, it's even more enjoyable when you have a job but the lack of employment opportunities has made some African to see it as their job. Online jobs offers more pays when compared to most work you do that's why the youths prefer to be lazy as people see it.

For me I think I will prepare to have a real job while also Investing in Bitcoin.
On point mate. As for me, working from home is the best thing that has happened to me, as it makes me feel comfortable and also gives me time or chance to do other things like having recreational activities, spending time with my loved ones or getting to know other things rather than working outside, which deprived people some privileges. Although there are some people that can't be able to work or do this kind of job like earning from crypto, they prefer to work outdoor Jobs as they see it to be the best and that's their own choices which I don't condemned anyone on any choices they make in life, as far as they believe it's good for them.

I'm a trader, and I love this job. Yes, I sit at home and rarely interact with people in real life, but it's cool. The main thing is to remember that Bitcoin trading is a risk. I expected the price to bounce up from 100,000 because it's a strong psychological level (everyone loves a lot of zeros), but after two tests, the price passed through it like a knife through butter, and there wasn't even a correction back, for example, from 95,000 to 100,000, as is usually the case. Therefore, with such bullish pressure, one can expect the price to fall and fall further, since Trump's influence and the threat of an AI bubble are hot topics today. It's good that I have someone to discuss this with, because a trader shouldn't be alone.

~ Finally I got bored with it and returned to my "street business hustling", as you call it. Smiley
When there are other sources of income the pressure and extremely high expectations from our trading strategies tends to reduce and this in-turn reduce our chances of gambling while trading. [/b]

Trading is always a bit like gambling, but I know what you mean. When you have other job and don't expect to earn your living from trading, you can do it in relaxed manner seeing it as a side job or even not a job at all, being happy with making $20 per day and rarely aiming for more. That's how everyone should trade crypto currencies, in my opinion

I also feel our regular business shouldn't be kept aside just because we think trading can handle all bills. Yes it can if done right but the pressure of our daily expenses might trigger greed and dissatisfaction from the profit we make through trading thereby leading to greed which eventually activates gambling tactics.

Golden words, mate! Golden words.

Staying indoor and making money via crypto trading, freelancing or any online platform is smart work.
Real laziness is doing hard physical work for low pay and staying broke.

Earning more than the next person who wakes up each morning to hustle does not make the person lazy; hard work pays, but those who work smart and are opportunistic earn more as long as someone is doing something and trying their best. I don't see a reason or need to call the person lazy, unless those who are sitting at home waiting for manna to fall to them or waiting for a miracle to happen through a lottery or any such should be described as being lazy.

If that's the case, he's not a true man, but a mama's boy who always relies on help from others or his parents, especially whether he's married or not. I agree with you: regardless of your current financial situation, whether stable or not, additional income should be sought. The reason is that we never know what the future holds, what will happen next. For example, when we receive news that our parents are sick or a loved one is ill, it automatically requires significant costs, especially if we want to admit them to a private hospital.

We have to make a deposit first before receiving treatment. This is where additional plus money comes into play, if we not doit, just hope for things to happen without taking any action at all.

I get upsets when people are looked down on simply because of how little they are making as income, it is natural that people earning can not be the same one must be different from the others or of different levels and categories, every level of placement is important provided you are doing something, there is no wrong doing physical jobs provided it pays your bills and while it may not be enough you keep improving yourself, people doing different kinds of levels of jobs is what makes life interesting because every body must not be doing the same thing it is going to be a kind of boring world, do whatever you can do without belittling anyone or thinking so highly of yourself because everybody is important and in their own kind of way, true laziness is when you refuse to work even when you can.

Bitcoin is not something you can leave your day to day business to go and make money or even as an amateur. Bitcoin has long-term value, and it should not rely on Bitcoin only, as it is too volatile. It is even safer to retain your monthly earnings and invest some of it into Bitcoin. Striking a balance between the two will leave you steady and easily make better decisions without being pressurized.
