I have trouble about this seed phase, many crypto wallet I have opened before got lost because of seed phase, can't this seed phase be removed from wallet and allow pass key or some codes? Why is it that necessary? What's your opinion "seed phase or passed key?

One of the biggest flex you enjoy with seed phrase is freedom. A seed phrase generated by a wallet say blue wallet can be used on a different wallet say trezor to get the same private keys, addresses and balances as long as it follows BIP-39 standard, exceptional to this is bitcoin core and electrum. If a wallet uses only a passkey without a seed phrase, then you become dependent on that specific company or app, because your addresses cannot be recreated anywhere else.

Looks like you're not interested in the answers since you don't reply to any of the posts.

In any case, those two are unrelated like comparing apples to oranges.

Firstly, you seed phrase isn't something that locks access to your wallet, it's the entropy of where your private keys are based from.
Secondly, a "self-custodial wallet" doesn't store its backup to any server or custodial service, you wouldn't want to lose access to your wallet by not having a backup.
So, thirdly, to be able to create a backup of it, your choice is to backup the whole wallet, each of the private keys or the source where all of those keys are based from: the seed phrase.
Losing it to a hacker isn't a problem with its design but how the owner handles its security. (don't store it online or in the open)

On the other hand, a passkey is mostly used like a password which locks access to the wallet unless it's provided.
Sure, it can be used as entropy if some developer implements it, but it's not preferrable to use a key stored and generated elsewhere to derive all of your wallet's private keys.

Seed phrase = Protects your wallet account from being tempered with, both by hackers and unauthorized access by employees.
Passkey = only protects your wallet account from friends and other physical intruders.

So yes, seed phrase is somehow scary, but it's one of the best form of security for your crypto wallet and it's here to stay camp!

The seed phrase is used to recover your wallet; it's the most important thing to keep safe. Without it, you lose access to your coins. The passkey is different; you can recover or change it if necessary. They are distinct things, and I don't know why you wouldn't save your phrase, since saving passkeys or codes would be the same process. There are many topics here on the forum regarding security issues and backups. Don't blame the seed phrase for your failure to save it…

You’re confusing CEX-wallet system with a self custody wallet “seed”..
You need to understand what a seed is all about because it’s the only access to your self custody wallet and there’s nothing like a pass key unless you want to extend your seed  which is “passphrase”, you can set a password for your wallet if you want.

Keeping your seed phrase safe shouldn’t be that hard unless you’re careless.. and with multiple backups, you should always have other locations to retrieve your seed (atleast least you can’t be careless with everything at once).
Anyway, there’s no comparison for what you’re asking,it’s either seed or wallet.dat.although it seems there’re enough replies already.

This is not a good description of a seed phrase.
It's just a "backup", not something that's created to protect the wallet from unauthorized access.
It's the wallet encryption password's job.

If a hacker can get is hands on a wallet, the first thing he'll do is to get the funds and not tamper with the wallet.
And if you mean the "wallet developer's employees" by saying "employees", it's not applicable since wallets that utilize seed phrase are self-custodial where it's not held by the wallet developer.
(unless it's secretly custodial and the source code isn't open source)

If a wallet uses only a passphrase without a seed phrase, then you become dependent on that specific company or app, because your addresses cannot be recreated anywhere else.

I don’t understand statements of yours because there is no passphrase to actually say without a seed phrase, it’s actually the added words or phrases to a seed phrase that is a passphrase and even if a passphrase is added to a wallet you don’t basically need that wallet to be able to recover your wallet as long as there are wallets that are compatible with that your wallet it will recover it. Worst let’s say there is none that is compatible and the seed phrase was custom seed phrase, there are tools to actually get private keys from this seed phrase plus passphrase and then use the private key to recover the wallet.

If by any chance you meant wallets that are do not have seed phrase or keys giving out, then this one’s are totally different entirely and shouldn’t even be regarded as a custodial wallet, they usually refers to as keyless wallets and are common to all this centralized exchanges

Is a typo, I wanted to say "passkey" not passphrase, let me correct that.

If you really don't like using recovery phrases, then how do you plan to keep backups of your wallet?

The recovery phrase is the most commonly used method by 95% of wallets for creating and restoring a bitcoin wallet. If you don't like using it, the only alternative is to create or import a wallet into Electrum or Sparrow using the recovery seed, export an encrypted keystore with your password and use it as a backup. This also works... But you will need the original software to perform the restoration (some wallets read backups from other wallets, as is the case with Sparrow, which can access Electrum keystores, provided it's a wallet originally created in Electrum).

If you can't store your passkeys and phrase carefully without having a problem, is it code you think will not give you any problems later on? You are asking why security is necessary, like, seriously?

What is stopping you from writing a new BIP draft for the proposal? You are allowed to suggest new layers and patterns to increase security if you have a problem with the current ones. Who knows, BIP editors might accept your draft.

You are getting this wrong, Op is referring to passkey vs seed phrase but in a non-custodian wallets they function afar off.
Passkey is an alternative option for Password and refer to as Passwordless authentication but still have a questionable security risks especially regarding identity theft.
Seed phrase is generated through a cryptographic randomness(entropy) and through which private key is generated, which give you access and full control to your coins in a wallet address(s).
