Why do people still believe, support and promote the activities of failed leadership, government and corrupt politicians? I noticed that in Nigeria no matter how bad your regime maybe, people still prefer you, fight for you and promote the concept of your ruling, some even Mr A is the best President but is difficult for this same leadership to fulfill their promises during campaign to protect lives and properties, to improve standard of living

I still cannot forget the promises of president bola Amed Tinubu during his campaign era, when he promised Nigerians heaven and earth just to gain there support without knowing his intentions. Some of those promises are: provision of job opportunities,  manufacturing or creations of goods and services, reduce importation and increase exportation, twenty four hours electricity, continuous assistance to farmers, protection of life and properties, etc. After been elected into office all turn to empty promise, which I know will still repeat itself in 2027

There are so many failed leaders in Nigeria, but I don't want to start criticising them because if most of us here have the opportunity to be in any political office, I think thesame criticism will also reach us because no matter how you try to impress the public by the things you do, there are people who will still say you didn't do anything for the period you were on seat.
However, nomatter how we say a government is bad, they must have things they did while on seat. Therefore, pleasing the masses is not always easy.

It's obviously that some people are not for better government, rather than what works on their favor. In Nigeria no matter how corrupt that leadership is, once it's favor individual either they're benefits from it direct or indirect, that government will always remain best on their own ideology.

Even from the beginning I don't have any trust on him, tinubu show right from his campaign that he's not coming for good. I could remembered during his election that he was campaigning with pride, telling voters that if they like or not he's going to win the election, isn't that sound rude? Omo na from dat time I just lose hope say tinubu no dey come to fullfil any of his promises.

I don’t know why some people will never understand why we are suffering in this country after these bad politicians buy us, used us during their campaigns, made some fake promises they will never keep, and then when they come back for another year and promise some change, we forget how we have been suffering for for years. Can anyone think of one good thing that the president of this country has done since being elected? Aside from the tasks he want to use destroy us, what else?

I'm just wondering why all of them wants to spend another 4 years, and we no fit  mention a single thing they have done for us. The first thing the president wanted to do when he was elected was to remove the fuel subsidy, but look where we are now, but we always get used to whatever the country is going through at the time.

When you have a high level of incompetent people with myopic and bias mindset, with no sense of value in the corridor of leadership.
The resultant effect is always failure.

In Nigeria now we don't have leaders all we have is criminals filled with sense of stealing and never to transform the country to good

I don't really understand this Nigeria because it is clear all what they are doing is pure politics, everyone is just fighting for their pocket, if they can be able to secure a place where they will be getting money they will keep quiet and be supporting the bad government.

At the early stage of this government I was watching one man in arise TV, he was seriously supporting government even when people were seriously shouting but all those things are to his own interests. I equally see the same man who is seriously challenging the same government that he did not even know where they are heading to, but all these is because his not being favoured, if not he couldn't have say anything. He was shouting that they are the one who bring him and they will kick him out again. All this is all about selfish interest just because the government did not favor him at the end, he now want us to join together to fight this government. My hands are tight.

Every person is endowed with different talents, some can apply them properly and some cannot. Those involved in leading political activities have special talents by which they can win the hearts of the common people. When a person listens to a leader and hears praise for his good deeds, he develops positive feelings towards that leader and becomes his fan. His fans are inspired to act accordingly to what that leader says.

There are some politicians in Nigeria who are personally corrupt but have a large number of fans ready to work for them. Due to the personal talents of these leaders, they are able to win the hearts of their fans and they are re elected. Strategically they apply their various talents and the people vote for that leader.

Most of these supporters are not defending good governance, they are defending thier "brother, son, our own" just identify and survival. when people are struggling daily, they cling to tribe, religion, or "their own" as a form of security. so even as a leader fails badly, thier supports feels attacking the leader is attacking them...like make it make sense???

then you have as benefit-by-proximity (na my person dey office).. many of these supporters dont support bad leader because they believe in them, it is because they hope to benefit someday an example would be the Rivers State governor deflecting to APC so secure his second tenure in the next election. Over time, we have been conditioned to accept poor performance as normal, fear has even grown in, we know opposing power in Nigeria is costly, so we just cheer or remain silent. It is well.

I wonder why some human don't have sympathy for others who are suffering simply because they're benefiting for bad government. Nigeria would've been a better country if those beneficiaries of bad government came together to challenge the government but then they have they majority of the most influential people who could've speak up against their corrupt act in their control that's why we're still tackling bad government till this point.

 Nigeria is a failed nation and everyone needs to start realising that, there's no hppe for the common man cause every sector is corrupt including the judiciary that would've be the last resort for hope. In the past I used to be against the jakpa system but currently, I'll urge anyone who can to leave to a better society if they can, there's no hope for common man here.

This is really painful, our leaders have really failed us and the government is not getting better. What surprises me is that, these Nigerian leaders claim to be educated, they travel to the developed countries, sometimes with their families for holidays or tourism, some even have houses and investment there and make there as their second home but they cannot imitate and bring those good things they see over there here in Nigeria. The reason behind such behaviour is what i don't still understand.

There is enough money in Nigeria and if only we can produce a good leader Nigeria can become a developed country within a short period of time. If they show you the wealth of our past and present leaders outside the country Nigeria you will marvel, can't those investment be established here? Is Nigeria not good enough to keep those investment? The wealth they have acquired is from Nigeria, why then is Nigeria not good enough to keep their investment?

I strongly believe that a day will come when God will send a leader that will take us away from this bad administration and give Nigerians a renewed hope.

For Naija, plenty people still dey support these failed leaders, mostly because politics for here dey based on emotion. Some people go support government even when e dey perform badly, just because of tribe, party wahala, or small personal gain. Some people don just dey used to low standard, so dem go anyhow support all these underperforming leaders, even when basic things like security, better living conditions, and real development no dey.

This same kind bad leadership go still dey repeat if citizens no begin dey choose and support leaders based on wetin dem really dey deliver, instead of just following tribe, party, or emotion. If we no change, nothing go change.

Yes, you actually yan better thing for wetin you talk above regarding the reason why Naija never still get a workable government right from independence, due to the fact that people choose tribe, religion and party favoritism over the general wellbeing of the entire citizens of this country. Because indeed, untill Nigerians get up and start demanding what is right for the people, absolutely nothing will work. Because infact the politicians don't even care about the people, but al they care about is how to be able to make lives good for your immediate families and probably the community which they come from, while allowing the masses to suffer in neglect. Nigeria government has always been like this for as long as I can remember, but the issue now is the followers or supporters that will never admit that they are bad leaders,  simply because they are gaining from the government or they are from the same tribe or share the same religion and belief. Sometimes I don't want to blame the government for been corrupt,  because they follower are the main issue, they just follow them blindly and don't care if they do the right thing or not, but as long as they are from the same tribe or religion,  they are definitely cool with the leader. Nigeria is on a mess, and our leader has failed us. people are going through a lot in the country, not everyone can even afford some basic things because of high cost, there is hungry and suffering.
Yet when it's time for campaign they bribe their way to the site because they are more concerned about power than humans life, we pray for God's intervention because it is only God that can save this country, let us all be guided.

I am 100% confidence that all Nigerians know that our leaders are very bad, but the main issue here is that they starved us to the extend that our mind can easily turn around, the suffering of the citizen is at the higher level that is why they keep on coming back and buying us with money since they knew that we have been starved. The reason why it is problem continue to surface every time was because our leaders are above the law of the Nation that is why they do what whatever they like and we the Citizens don't have any power to challenge them.

Our leaders are so powerful to the extent that they even deal with your oppositions which it is even unconstitutional, once you are in their party you can do whatever you like, even though you don't pay salaries or treating your citizens anyhow they don't talk so far you are in the same party with the government.

This has always been the issue in Nigeria and I think that's why we keep having bad leaders.  The citizens are the problem, once they support a leaders maybe because the leader is from their tribe or they share the same religion,  they don't care if the person is bad or not, they will definitely support him. The politicians knows all thus about the citizens and they keep using it to manipulate the people, because they know that the people will definitely support them even if they are not leading well.
