If you bet a $1 and you win $100 but you lose it all again the next round you bet, is it really your money that you lost even though you just won that $100? More like you lost the potential of having that amount of money which is why it hurts but if we are being honest it should be easy to move on because that money did not exactly come from your own wallet. Do you find yourself harder to move on if you lose money from a huge win even if you just bet only a small amount?
I lost a lot of money when I started gambling, but I think if I hadn't lost money then I would have missed a lot about gambling. I think some losses help people be more aware of the path ahead. I now gamble for fun with prudent money because gambling should be for fun, not for making money. The risk of losing money can be multiplied by gambling too much, so gambling for fun can be a real pleasure.

You are right bro, loses aren't always a bad thing if we try to check it well, just the same way I learnt that failure is a necessary step to success, loses teach us a lot of important lessons that winning doesn't teach..

While winning only brings pleasure, happiness, a sense of fun and fulfillment, loses teaches us to think, see a problem and try to find solution to it, this is way more important that all the lesson the winning teaches us, all the benefits that comes with winning, and this is because if we are to sit down and begin to check it, the benefits that comes with winning is good, but what we benefit from losing is more important for our personal development..
I got to understand that gambling for fun is way better than gambling solely for money after I encountered a huge loss, it thought me to take my business very serious and stop dreaming and depending on some magic money from gambling that may never come.

I have several times almost won big with only a small stake, but I didn't succeed because in the end I experienced losses. Although at first I regretted it and had a hard time moving on, eventually I managed to forget it. Believe that at first it is indeed hard to move on from a potential win that was almost within your reach, but just continue with your activities (don't gamble anymore) and you will surely forget it.

The most important thing is that when you lose, don't be overwhelmed by the fear of explaining to the people at home that you've lost all your money and that you have to play again to recoup your winnings if you have any left. If you come with cash, I think you'll be calm and not have a problem with the people at home because we've already paid their share, and gambling for fun can be a real pleasure. If you don't, be prepared for the consequences of going into debt again and looking for replacement money at home.

Betting one dollar and making over a hundred is quite huge and personally if I end up losing it that's definitely going to be considered as a loss. Whatever profit you make from gambling is what you earned from it, sometimes it takes as long as one year or more to get that lucky...i always use a little percentage of what I have won to gamble so I don't end up losing it all, this is the wisest thing to do

Now I think the moment that win hits your balance, bro, it becomes your money whether you staked $1 or $100. The casino did not borrow you anything, you earned that outcome based on the risk you took..

Yeah, maybe it did not come from your main wallet, but it is still value that was in your hands, and losing it hurts because you already started imagining what that $100 could do for you..

If you had bet a $1 and you win a $100 it's your money, you can't assume it's not your money because you might have bet with a little amount and you won a bigger amount then you later lost the same money as well, do you know how much money people have lost in the process of gambling?, so even winning a $100 is less of what Many people have been gambling with for a long time. though many people find it hard to move on from a game they loose because they placed high expectations towards it and when they loose it affects them mentally.

In gambling once an amount hits your account that money becomes yours, even though it didn't come from your wallet directly but you should know that you stake with an amount before you were able to get the money so it's all yours. Most importantly one should bet with an amount he/she can comfortably lose without being emotional that's just the key to gambling, while betting I don't think I have bet an amount higher than one thousand naira(Nigeria currency), I do bet with a small amount that I can comfortably lose without regrets.

Of course it's more complicated! In situations like the one described in the initial post, it is best to withdraw at least half of your winnings from the online casino to your account right away in order to secure at least some profit. The same rule applies here as in trading: if you suddenly make a good profit, secure it and don't rush to trade the money you've earned again. The same applies to gambling. Accordingly, if you subsequently lose not $100 but $50 of your winnings, it will not be so painful, because you still won $50 and you still have it. You can even secure more than half; I would personally secure 70-80% if I could increase my initial bankroll by 100%. The remaining 20-30% can be left on deposit at the online casino. And another thing: when you win big, it's better to take a break rather than rush into further play in a state of euphoria. It's better to sit down calmly and think about what to do next with your winnings.

I very rarely can place a bet with a huge odds value, because for that I need many games that I am confident in. And if I have doubts, I will not make such a bet, because from my own experience I know that it is very difficult to win these kinds of bets, and the more events I add to a parlay, the higher the chance that I will run into a match where an unexpected result happens. It is better to make one or two bets with small odds, than to build a parlay with odds of 100 and understand that such a bet will most likely lose.

Losing the profits you made also counts as your profits lost because it was in your possession at that particular time. Here's a sceneries, if  if someone gifts you 200 dollars and you end up throwing it all away would you say that it's not your money that's lost so you wouldn't count it as losing? Of course not ,if you made profits from gambling it means that it's is your money, people are quick to say otherwise to make theirself feel better
This happen too often after you have made some profits and you continue to gamble to later noticed that the money that was won by you has been taken by the casino you are using. Should we now start to regret? Regret is not an option here but to be wise next time so that you don't give back to the platform that gave you the opportunity to make money from them without selective measures.

You can lose your bankroll and fund again to notice that you have lost it again. This is a sign that something might be wrong with you or the game you are playing has low fair winning rate by players. You should also something about that asap.

People who have no idea about gambling are the ones that should be falling into all these mistakes, if you know your enemies too well you will defeat them, a battalion of soldier who don't know what type of enemies they are going to face in the battle will likely lose the battle.

There is nothing much to be prepared about in gambling but the greed of money is why people will keep making such mistakes, everyone knows what gambling is all about, yet they choose to risk money that they can't afford to lose.

Who is to be blame if not the gamblers? When the chances of winning becomes unknown you are to lower your risk to the smallest form, if the game hits back harder you won't be affected.

Well, it should be like that. We have to take as little as it can be from the winning and any percentage seems to be good at all.

If we're not too careful with how much we gamble with, we're going to lose it all. Someone who has went from so many losses, they're not going to let it pass that the entire winning will be lost as easy as it can be.

Yeah, it's wise that you keep some for yourself and it's giving you a sense of happiness when you're able to win with a very small amount.

I don't even understand why you say or think that a gambler is not supposed to react to this kind of loss, maybe if it happens to you, you might not react or you can easily get over it but everyone is not the same. Let's assume you invested $1k into Bitcoin and the following day the price has surged and doubled your money, would you assume that the profit that you have made from this investment is not your money or would you be happy if after making the profit on your investment, you just lose it? Winning in gambling is withdrawal, if you win such a big amount, you have to make withdrawal first before you continue.
Gamblers are entitled to get uneasy on themselves if they loss a big amount in gambling but where am concerned is the reason why anyone gambles with what they can not let go, gambling has rules which is gambling at ease without getting your mind unnecessary stressed when your bet goes the other way.
I like the place here you said the definition of wining in gambling is the amount we withdraw, you are very correct, the reason why some person will continue to complain as the gamble is because they are greedy, the want to win very big with the amount they have won already and I'm the process they will lose it and continue complaining.

In a situation like this, if the gambler spent just $1 or even if it's $5 and they won $100 or more at once and they decided to use all that money to gamble again, it means that the gambler is already aware of the risk and they probably could afford to lose that money that's why they decided to use it for gambling, so if they lose the money, they don't have to feel regret.

That is only for those who can accept losing money from their bets. We rarely win big with small bets but for those who are lucky, they will win. I never think about that and just place my bets. If I place more bets, let's say 3-5 bets, I may choose minimum bets amount and will not risk too much. I don't have much luck before so I just bet and let it happen. But I also hope I can win 1 or 2 bets even if that means I still lose.

More like you lost the potential of having that amount of money which is why it hurts but if we are being honest it should be easy to move on because that money did not exactly come from your own wallet. Do you find yourself harder to move on if you lose money from a huge win even if you just bet only a small amount?

If you won some money, it's your money now, it doesn't matter whether you've earned it or won or it was given to you by someone. That's why it hurts when you lose it - it's your money. To avoid the frustration I personally stop right away after winning anything above $50. I don't necessarily withdraw my winnings, but I don't to risk losing it the same day.

I can consider that to be my own money. This is not just a potential win but money that I have already won. If, out of my recklessness, I lost that money, then I can say I lost $100, but it would be easy to move over from then when I just made a deposit of $100 and lose it all, the only difference here is that you won the money and did not withdraw it assuming the $100 was withdrawn and deposited another day for playing which was later lost will you view it differently?

because we only make a deposit of only $1, the winnings we get $100 do not feel like a loss when we continue the next fight because the money does not come from our wallet so we lose from the win and it will not be a burden in defeat, but if we make a deposit of $100 then when we bet we will experience defeat I think it will be felt, because our capital is large, it is different from a deposit of only $1, in my opinion.

though many people find it hard to move on from a game they loose because they placed high expectations towards it and when they loose it affects them mentally.
Losing a lot adds to the desire for high expectations, slots could mean high rolling, while sport is quite manageable the anxiety is just same. Gamblers who have within them concluded they've lost so much money gambling, would immediately wish to hit back at once more than all the funds casino has taken from their wallet. It's hard to move on, that's the reason behind problem gaming and loss chasing.

It's your money since you already won it and had it on your balance, if you lost it that means it's was out of your recklessness like you said and that's the kind of reckless that a gambler should prevent. If after winning that money you allow your self to lose it, can you imagine what that money would have done for you? At some point, I'm thinking that anyone that can throw away such opportunity can also throw away a huge amount that is above $1k if they luckily win it and refuse to withdraw.

Yes of course since the little money came from your pocket and you used it to place a bet and won and you still have to lose it again,it's all your money, where is going to give me mental stress is the first time you win big and you still continue and finally they finished it,it hot more than Cain at that point, bet wisely their are many things we need to buy at that very moment you won the bet go and buy it and keep you have secure something rather than losing the money over again.

You can only consider the money you keep and control as your own. Therefore, the money deposited in your casino account is not yours. Therefore, if you win $100, withdraw half (or better yet, 70%-100%) from your casino account (to your wallet). This way, you'll lock in your profits and protect yourself from further losses, while also leaving some of your winnings to test your luck.

Of course, gamblers worry about losing what they think is their own money (what they won and then immediately lost). However, in fact, they can only consider the money they deposited at the casino as their own. If you didn't think to secure your winnings promptly, there's no point in worrying about lost profits later. Of course, you need to let go of the situation, realizing how you can become "poor" after losing something that didn't "belong" to you.
