I think it is because of laziness, because if he had the opportunity he would live better, but he does not want to change anything, look for another job, or take an additional job. So not all people strive to become richer.

There are people who are content with just being employees because, for them, their salary is already enough especially if they receive benefits from the company where they work.
Others, however, feel like they have no choice. Even if they want to have their own business, they lack the confidence to start one.

And if you’re just an ordinary citizen, an ordinary employee in our country, it’s unlikely for someone to earn a monthly income of around $1,000. Salaries like that in our country nowadays

Money plays a major role in improving people's life expectancy, financial security in the future and freedom in everything. If money does not increase, then one will have to face financial problems to manage life. To avoid such a situation, I think it is a normal desire of people to try to earn more money in advance.

This reminds me of a recent video I watched on Youtube regarding lifestyle inflation and how people are actually becoming poorer despite earning more.
This is because their expenses have drastically increased when compared to their previous years.
The root cause of lifestyle inflation is social media. People keep scrolling through social media watching others' lifestyle and try to replicate the same.
Hence their expenses increases over time while their salary, although increasing, doesn't match their spending habits.

That's a very bad habit, and I hate it. Mostly the youngsters these days are into this; they keep watching reels and videos and stuff around the internet, and then start demanding for expensive things that they have seen in those videos because now they want to have them, it will either be something related to lifestyle, or even food and other stuff. This makes me angry but you can't say anything because if you do, they will get either sad or mad that you didn't fulfill their wish, they won't think about expenses or anything, just want their demands fulfilled, and that's frustrating.

In our times, we used to use whatever was brought for us, and never demanded much, we didn't have social media to influence our likings or make us have a expensive lifestyle only because others are having it. So yeah, it's true that the youngsters these days have what you are calling lifestyle inflation thing because of social media and the internet, and there is nothing we can do about that, unfortunately.

What I think is the way out of this psychological loop is to make our happiness and love affordable. As a result, we can feel much happier even with small things. So, our expectations will not be higher than the highest. For sure it is, It is because we are humans and human desires will never get satisfied, so it doesnt matter how much we are going to earn we sure are going to aim for a even higher that we wanted to get, I mean its not like its a bad thing, I mean who wanted to be a dead fish that is just want to swing on the current, of course we wanted to be the one that is going to dream high and good example is dreaming of a even more higher salary, But I like the saying that the earning is not going to matter what matter is the savings, it doesnt matter if you earn 2k$ a month if you are not saving you are going to be broke and not going to get the financial freedom.

I think this is very normal and everyone has great, even unlimited desires. What makes the difference to achieving something in life is character, meaning between being diligent and lazy. There are no excuses for persistent people, they really utilize their time and every opportunity with so much discipline that it makes their level much different.

What you said is true. People who are persistent, diligent, and hardworking won't waste their time on things that don't really produce good results. I have a sibling who is now quite old, but he still has no intention of getting married and even finding a job is still difficult.

There are millions of people who want to get more money by doing job but that is not possible by doing job but that is limited for anyone and person is dependent on other people who is getting direct income from his business and if his business will grow , he will be more rich . Actually there is. Stop giving cell phones to youngsters until they turn 16 to 18.
I know its not an easy thing to do because they will start demanding cell phones as soon as they go out and watch other kids having it.
But if slowly everyone starts doing it then we an actually save our kids from falling into such bad habits but I know its far from happening but we can surely try.
Restrict your kid from accessing the phone or set some hours aside for mobile phone and rest of the day should be without a phone.

Money gives you freedom in life and the more you get the more exclusive things you can access, that's just a simple fact So it's perfectly understandable that people aspire to grow their income and would love to one day have enough money that they are self sufficient from needing a job. Nobody can answer your question about if there is any end to it, because it's a highly personal question. Some people would live happily for the rest of their lives if they had an income stream near to the average salary in the country without having to work for it. Others don't settle and hustle relentlessly with the aim to add more zeroes to their bank account. Not everyone is in a position that they can elevate their income, but it's understandable that they might dream for more.
