My personal opinion here is that both the winning streak and the losing streak can play a role together in the same way to bring disaster. Because I have experienced both and have seen many people experience the same thing, where many have made huge amounts of money to recover losses, and at the same time, I have seen many people who, despite getting a big win, due to greed, have lost their bankroll in the end by making more bets. I would point out that the biggest disaster here is when we lose our own self-control.

Which is dangerous is actually gambling an irresponsibly. And gambling irresponsibly can still happen when you’re on a winning streak just it is a component of a losing streak. Exercising control of your gambling habits will make all the difference because you would know when to take a break and you would know when to continue. Therefore whether you are winning or losing exercise constraints, so you don’t fall into an endless loop as the OP has described.

No casino intentionally gives you series of wins whether through betting or slot games. You as a player compete to win or lose, so it's not as if these casinos get so generous to the extent of considering the tactics of giving out so many wins just to lure the gambler. And as for the question, I still believe that lossing streak is way more dangerous. You don't just lose your money, but you also lose your time, and might also want to start chasing after losses. And the moment you start chasing after losses without control, it might eventually become a case of full blown addiction, just in a matter of time. Practically, a consistent winning streak can lead to lossing streak as well, but of course, you wouldn't want to stop the moment you're having a winning streak, but you can easily make a decision to stop when you're having a lossing streak. Well the most dangerous is the unannounced losing streak when the gambler falls into an endless loop. To eat in the table and begin eating on the ground is not a good thing. So it is better to know you are on a losing streak and give up to secure whatever is left than to suddenly starts to fall and to the lowest level.

Well, I said both…When you win, greed exists. But when you lose, you take revenge and chase losses.

I will say here to you that if someone gambles beyond their affordability, then  I'll call that more disastrous in the gambling space, not the losing streak or the winning streak. Because in both cases we can face similar losses, although apparently chasing losses seems more disastrous to me becuase here you have nothing to gain here you are losing from the fund you stake and even if we can about the win streak at the end if you wager even you get a big amount and then you face loss again here you will also go for loss chasing,,, so in this point of view you can say loss streak could be more disastrous.

Winning and losing streaks can be damaging and i can't really say which of them is more disastrous because they are intertwined. Winning streaks can turn to losing streaks depending on how the gambler plays his cards, if you don't play your card right when you are winning you would start losing and this can lead to more losses of you are not careful. Yes you are right, as a gambler that is experienced you don't have to be carried away by your wins, there are some people when they keep winning they are always carried away and they forget they can lose at any point, when you get carried away and you start losing, it will make you to become addicted because you will want to start winning again, and for those who always chase their losses they are making a very big mistake in doing that and if you continue doing that as a gambler you will end up becoming very addicted and you may even start selling your properties and doing a lot of things just to get money in order to gamble, any money you lose in gambling forget about it and move on, try to have a balance, you must not gamble everyday gamble only when you feel like doing it since is something we do for fun.

It all depends on the mindset. A losing streak is more disastrous of course. At least with a winning streak, someone with very good discipline can avoid giving back all their wins back to the casino. As a matter of fact, I do know someone that when he's on a winning streak, he takes money off the table and uses them to either:

• Send to his account or long term investments like stock
• Buy IRL assets and properties.

This way, when the tide changes and he begins a losing streak, there is simply no money on the table to lose and those losses are on significantly reduced bankroll so the wins always outweigh the losses.

I don't think "dangerous" Is the accurate word to use for it but luring. I believe that winning streak is more luring than a losing streak. That's why I formally said that winning streak is a trap because it can make and has made some gamblers to feel that they were going to continue winning but they ended up losing more and some of them who were already lucky to win a huge amount lost all the money they have won because they were trapped by the illusion that they will win back every penny they gambled off.

I have taken my time to read the OP, and I think the winning streak is more dangerous than the losing streak. As it is, casinos are not stupid; they have their strategy, they would let you win, and a straight record, making you feel relaxed with the winning so that even if you begin to lose games, you already have the mindset of you constantly wining and by so doing, you would want to play more to maintain that streak youve been on for long but the truth is that the house edge always favour the casino and if you do not understand that, you would definitely get drawn in your chase to recover your losses.

You will not fall into the risk associated with these two streaks if you understand how the casino works, and that is the knowledge and the control of when to stop, something that those addicted to gambling do not have.
There is no danger in either if you stop and rest when you are experiencing losses, and there is no danger in winning streaks if you can control yourself and stop at the right time, moderating your greed is important if you don't want to experience the risk associated with the two.
