Another thing is that going with a low risk makes one stake more so you can try and atleast gain something from your stake which without knowing has increased the amount you can loss. There is nothing like big stake and low stake in my gambling dictionary,  infact how do you define a low stake and a high stake? If high stake involves going above your risk tolerance level then it doesn't worth it, if not for greed nothing will ever make anyone go above a standard of their risk, no higher risk takers will enjoy gambling in my understanding because of the emotional involvement that it can lead to, gambling is not a competitive ground hence you only gamble with an amount we can be comfortable with,  risk only what you afford to lose their is no award to be given to anyone for being a higher risk taker.

people who gamble with a big budget do not win all the time. sometimes players with a small budget end up winning very big. i have seen that myself. gambling is a dangerous addiction. many times it can turn a rich person into a poor one and a poor person into a rich one. in the end gambling depends mostly on luck. i say this because if you do not get good cards you cannot win no matter how smart you are. and you cannot force the exact card you want. if that was possible everyone would do it. so even in high amount gambling people lose everything when luck is not on their side. at the same time if you never take risks you will never win a big amount either. and you need experience in gambling too. otherwise even with good luck you can lose because you were not skilled enough.
