I recommend to write on a metal object. if you write on a metal object it won't burn. make many of it so if one of it destroyed you can access other copy. Hide on a place no one will expect it to be there.

Don't store seed phase in your phone . If your phone is hacked or stolen you will loose all your fund. Don't write on any internet connected device. Instead write on a metal object so that Even if someone steal you phone knowing your password they won't have the access of you wallet (you must use different password in your wallet).

Paper, metal sheet, file are some of backup types and for increase of having backup to use, using different wallet backup methods and store backups at difference places (should be hidden places as your advice) is better.
One wallet, one backup, one storage place can be very dangerous and you have risk of losing the wallet and bitcoin.

sink? you have to give your phone to a third party to recover the info - not safe

On Email - you are essentially trusting a third party with your personal information.

Was it because you don't have Bitcoin in that address or you don't have any significant amount of Bitcoin on the address that's why you decided to be careless with the book? Firstly, it's a bit weird to use the phrase "wallet account". That might actually be your own term, but using the word "wallet" is more convenience. So instead of saying, "create a new wallet account", you can just say "create a new wallet".

There should always be a backup plan after memorizing your seed phrase, mental and emotional stress aside there are times when you may no longer remember all the things you have in your memory this may be due to old age and the kind of things that you never expected to happen when you suddenly need to make use of your account like shock, if you don't have any backup plan you may take longer time to come bask to your complete senses before you could remember everything you stored in your memory. Phone? not an option! writing it down on a hard copy like book is the most recommended but however you are sure things can go south if written on a book you can as well too make duplicate copies of the books, and keep them in separate locations and most likely to yourself.

Writing it in a piece of paper then covered in plastic would make the paper last long if you want something cheap but if you really want a stronger one then you can carve the seed phrase in a piece of metal. If you make a search in this forum then there's a thread that discussed about how to store a seed phrase safely. It real depends on the person on what ways they do it some people preferred using cloud storage which is not really recommended while some preferred using book to write it on.

I think that learning by heart your seed phrase is a good exercise, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to rely only in this recovery method. IMO, those who can afford to buy a hw should store their private keys there safely, and keep the seed phrase on a physical, damage-proof material, in a very safe place, far from that hw.

In fact, there are safer ways, dividing the seed into different parts in many different locations, but it's much more complicated. For the average, small holder, a piece of paper can work well.
