Yes, I do it whenever I play slots. I wouldn't call it so much a method as a precaution. The sounds are designed to induce a state of mind in which you want to bet more and more, and although it's not a surefire way to get absolutely everyone to bet more than they should, in these cases you can never be too careful. Probably if I left the sounds on, nothing would happen, but I prefer to be cautious.

I think what Interests us the most and attracts us towards gambling is what we can get from it and by that I'm talking about profit..to.me I just sounds are just normal and part of the game but some gamblers think that it has something to do glued they are to gambling. If the sound is going to be a distraction to others, maybe they are actually busy doing something else while you are in there present. If nothing serious is happening to me, I will just move out from there and focus on enjoying my game with the sound on or maybe get it reduced. This is why most times it's more fun to hang out with those who enjoy the same kind of game as you.

Why not use headphones to dive into game completely? Put the sound on minimum and play in headphones to enjoy the process more. I can compare playing slots with or without sound with watching sports live at the stadium and watching sports at home with turned out sound (because everyone are sleeping and you cant even celebrate win normally ). If you bet win (or if your favourite team wins) you wont get 100% satisfaction from it, you won get 100% of emotions. You will always have a feeling that you are not getting something in full.

Lately I have been playing without sounds as I really hate the music in some slots that make losing even more bad than what already is. For example Rabbit Garden has a really bad music that makes your nerves very tense especially when losing so sometimes is better to play without music. I think different players may perceive this differently, some react more to what they see, others to what they hear. So simply turning off the sound may not be enough for some players and may have no effect on others. I've tried playing with and without sound, and it didn't affect my results at all. I find it very difficult to win at slots, perhaps luck plays more of a role in this game than anything else. And if I sometimes feel like playing, I'll play with sounds because I enjoy it more.
