Who is a gambler?

I think the real gamblers that we have today are not many, what we have today art hustlers that are trying to flip their money for another value. How many gamblers can actually say they are gambling for fun and not for the money. Many will say otherwise but that'd the truth. Gambling should be fun but there is nothing bad when momeh is part of the objective but it's bad when money becomes the center of everything you do as a gambler.

I think a real gambler is one always plays consistently by following the right rules. Such an obsession can only get a gambler into trouble. Yep, once you place a bet with the expectation of winning and keep repeating that process, you are a gambler, simple as that. There is really no special title for it. Long term, short term, casual, or serious, the moment money is staked on uncertainty, the person is gambling.

The only difference that usually comes in is addiction. When control is lost and it starts affecting decisions, finances, or daily life, then it changes to an addicted gambler.

I want to know; who is a gambler and what are the characteristics of a gambler?

Reason being that, in this section we often tends to be seeing several posts about people calling themselves gamblers, but truth be told, if you play slot today and didn't play again tomorrow or next or even till a month interval would that person be called a gambler?
If NO, who then is to be called a gambler?
Let discussed amicably as I really want to get something meaningful from this topic.

Gamblers are those who take risks for a positive outcome in an uncertain matter with the aim of making money immediately.

I have mentioned the general characteristics of gamblers very briefly in the above paragraph. In a broad sense, there are many characteristics of a gambler, including:

1. A gambler likes to take risks because he wants to get money immediately and makes bold decisions.

2. A gambler's initial purpose in gambling is to test his luck but gradually he adds entertainment to it and the tendency to make money arises.

3. Gamblers try to hide their losses from others because they always want to win.

4. An addicted gambler does not easily find his mistakes because the amount of losses is high, they become mentally disturbed and gamble more.

5. A newbie gambler may initially be confident but as he gains skill he gradually trusts luck.

In conclusion, it can only be said that the characteristics of gambling may vary from person to person, but the main characteristic is to make money in a short time.
