There are different boards on the forum and each has its own description or are self explanatory so it shouldn't be difficult to identify the right sections to post in. Read the pinned threads on this board. You’d find all the information you need to know about the forum and how it works. You are welcome to Bitcointalk. First, I advise you to prioritise quality posting. I can assure you that you will learn a lot about Bitcoin and altcoins. I hope the altcoins part has answered your question as well. You can learn and share about both Bitcoin and altcoins here, even though the forum is primarily about Bitcoin.

Avoid plagiarism and don't use AI tools to develop content. If you are hungry to learn and have patience, you will develop your knowledge through this forum.

Genuine newbies don't plagiarize but fake newbies easily to do plagiarism and plagiarisms when detected and reported will cause to permanent bans.

You wouldn't learn everything about the forum overnight. The first time I saw this forum, it looked complicated, but with time, it turned out to be very easy to navigate through. Take out time to surf through the forum, you would find out that different boards are discussing diverse areas of Bitcoin, altcoins and activities in the forum. You would discover topics that interest you in different boards. Instead of creating topics, take out time to read and understand some topics of discussion. Make contributions if you have something worthwhile to add to the discussion.  If you don't have any contributions, keep learning.

Avoid plagiarism and don't use AI tools to develop content. If you are hungry to learn and have patience, you will develop your knowledge through this forum.

My advice to you is to try as hard to be consistent in the forum. Curb every board section you see, to know what is being discussed there, because the knowledge you are to be impacted with, in this forum, is on you to do that, not on someone else to do that for you. OP, you started off in a really good way by asking the right question in the right place, so I can see that you already understand the basic rule of this forum, which is that spamming is prohibited. 
Also, the second biggest mistake new members can make is plagiarism, so definitely avoid that. 
If you copy any text, make sure to cite the source. 
As for the forum itself, there are plenty of crypto topics, but also topics unrelated to crypto such as gambling or political discussions, so I believe you'll easily find topics that interest you.

Yes there are rules, we also have other topics that are not Bitcoin related that are been discussed on other boards, Bitcoin is not the only topic of discussion and there are also other topics been discussed on other boards including local boards, so you can find your local board and identify with them and also share in their discussions and hear what they have to discuss. Just incase you are a lover of sports and entertainment, there is a gambling board where mostly sports related discussions are made and also there is a board for politics and society, all of this adds to the variety we see on this platform.

It is important you go through  the rules and regulations so you don't default in any of them while making your post and joining in on discussions, you can take your time to explore the platform and you will see further the boards wherein you can contribute and also gain knowledge from the contributions of other users.
