Actually, rape is a societal problem and it is caused by several factors which people sometimes ignore and do not give enough importance to.
The worst thing one could do is blame victims of rape and pointing out to them because the way the look, walk, the clothing they wear, among other things which are supposed to be irrelevant in a healthy society.

I would go to the extreme to even suggest rapist could be sufferers of some mental disorder, lack of empathy or something which does not allow them to control their urges.

Rape should be considered a very serious offense whose punishment should be severe without any sign of consideration as to put any end to such unscrupulous attitude. Well in this society of ours this days the cases of rapes are not longer News it's now an anthem in the faces of everyone now, there are a lot of debates on what actually can be the major causes of rape in our society today and looking at it we could say a lot of things are the causes, for the adults that are rape we have things like.
1. Indecent dressing

3. Pressure
This few can be listed for the adults and as for the little ones Minor's. We could say that the pedophiles may either be.

2. Taking revenge
3. Destroying a future yet to come
This one is the worst of all in the rape section.
And all this happens because most of the people cought up in the act are still free out there living among us like someone who is clean of everything not knowing if given the opportunity will cause more harm than good.

I had a lady assault me sexually, straddled me and everything. If I were any younger, I could have been overwhelmed by her sheer persistence alone.

I wouldn't agree with all of what you have listed as the causes of rape, IMO, it's condition of someone that just wants to rape a person, and that's it, nothing like it's due to indecent dressing, the association a person keeps or pressure. People have a right to dress as it pleases their skin, and you have the right to look away and not get concerned about it as an adult. Culture matters a lot. In western society many women have real jobs. This mean they take subways and buses to get home and walk from the train or the bus to their apartment. Many rapes happen to these fully dressed women coming home from their job.

The other day in my town in New Jersey a women was fully dressed walking her baby in a stroller it was 3 in the afternoon and a guy attacked her on the street she fought back a person heard her yell and came to her aid.

The attacker got away. The next week the attack stabbed a person in the next town he was caught. So basically he was a crazy ass mother fucker that want to hurt people.

Look, I think the biggest reason for rape is the distorted mindset of people. Since the beginning of human civilization, a group of people used to compare women with products and use them like products. And it exists among people till now. It's quite comprehensible for all of us what the OP was trying to make in his message and neither @programmer3666 nor anyone is saying the op was in a way making justification to why some rapes happens. There's no room to justify such barbaric act of which we all agree about that. Exactly what I was thinking, he is here supporting a rapist as though it is an honorable thing that he is supporting or he is directing a pornographic content.

I don't know if you got the clear message but that user was only busy defending himself with that story, it is obvious that explains his actions when a lady dresses seductively to his place of residence.

Self-control is key, if you don't know how to control yourself, you would surely get into lots of problems. The only issue I have is with how the law is softer on female rapists, especially those that abuse male minors.

Also, you need to keep in mind rape is a phenomenon which is very well documented in human history, rape is older than the wide spread production and commerce of pornography.
