Well, in my understanding, that kind of mindset already shows signs of addiction and greed. Thinking that you can still win back what you've lost is a sign
that you are already under the control of addiction at least, that’s my opinion on it.

Greed is actually what makes one to even become more addicted to gambling in the first instance, they think and feel that they can always win and be on the winning side. Trying to get back at your loss only make you even more lose, you break your risk management rule and think that you’ll increase the odds and go all in the games, then the eventuality that happens before strikes you again. This is how gambling is and one should not allow themselves to reach that point of addiction before finding solutions not to be so addicted again. It's true about how addiction control the reasoning faculty of it's victims that they don't on their own evaluate the possible circumstance and consequences that may occur but are straight face on what their addictive mindset has put inside in thought in them that they're close to winning by trying again and again and that's how so it goes till all funds are burnt. It gets so bad that they even go as far as taking loans just to chase the losses. A pathetic situation to imagine oneself in, that's why we must stick to gambling with discipline and principles.

Any gambler that is looking for ways to use $10 to make $100k is purely greed and that will take  about 100,000,000 bets before that can happen. I don't really know why some people can assume something that is very rare to become reality because they are gamblers that are looking for luck so that they can become highly profitable. Gambling is a busy and we should not hope to see a huge turnout after few bets or after spending few amount to bet and hoping for a quick change to make quick profits from betting.

Aren’t people who chase their losses a sign of addiction? Because I believe they are. If you do that, it means you’re already hooked. If you are a disciplined gambler, you won’t chase your losses. You have control over your emotions, which is likely because you are responsible. Any action done without caring about the consequences is a sign of someone who is already addicted. That’s hard to reverse, especially if you’ve been doing it for a long time.

It is not only a matter of greed or poor character. Sunk cost fallacy- Gambling addicts tend to roll dice in pursuit of looting since they have already lost a substantial amount of money, surrendering would be tantamount to acknowledging that they have squandered their time, energy and finances. Previous victories bring the illusion that they can win again and as long as they have hope, they will continue to work. Passion and the want to get everything back surpass the reasoning and it is extremely difficult to stop fighting even when the statistics is firmly against them.

The addiction itself creates that desire, and the worst part is that the player believes what they're trying to do is right, but no, things don't work that way Therefore, regarding this type of behavior, the solution is simple but difficult stop playing altogether and do it for your own good and to avoid losing more money, Not everyone succeeds those who can't fall into addiction, and that's one of the things I don't wish on anyone.
