That's why we deposit money into escrow, so that such situations would not arise, but at some point we will completely abandon third party providers. We had to use them only because we had TOO MANY transactions. Please remember that SageSwap began acquiring its first transactions on December 4! And we were prepared for 4/5 times fewer transactions.

I know some of you may be disappointed, but unfortunately you forced us to do this We weren't prepared for such a large number of transactions, and it really was a lot. I look at the transparency reports of other swap services and maybe one or two of them had so many transactions in their first month.

We can guarantee that you will never be subject to KYC or freezing of funds. If you are afraid, simply exchange amounts up to $2000, which is the amount of our escrow deposit.

I have to ask. The amount that Tervoid received from you is only 16 USDT. I assume that the use of a third party in this case is not due to a lack of liquidity. I come to the conclusion that the system was not able to independently handle a large number of orders at the same time. Am I right?
How will you solve this in the future?

Currently, about 90% of transactions go through our systems and only 10% through third parties. We try to exchange Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, and other major cryptocurrencies ourselves, but when it comes to USDT/USDC, we usually leave it to our partners. Of course, we are not always able to exchange Bitcoin or other major crypto ourselves especially if there is a large number of transactions in the same time, but we usually do.

In the future, we plan to expand our infrastructure further. As I mentioned earlier, we were not ready for such a high level of interest in our project and the number of exchanges, which is why sometimes there are delays, as mentioned in a few threads above  

We were supposed to deposit the escrow only after the new year, when our API was supposed to be released, but because we decided to use partners, we decided to do it NOW and update our FAQ. At the time Trevoid made his post, our FAQ had already been updated for over a day with the information that some transactions may be processed by our partners.

Feedback for swaps involving XMR:

Since XMR addresses are longer compared to other coins, it would be helpful to display the entire XMR address on the website.



Currently, I have to double-click (on a desktop) and then paste it elsewhere to see if I copied the correct address, I have to select it with the mouse, move to the edge, or copy the address to see it in its entirety.

An optional button to copy and paste an address into the address field could be useful.

Yesterday I tried to exchange XMRxBTC on the .onion link and I was getting error 502. I didn't take screenshot at the time. After a few more attempts, when I clicked "get rate" again after selecting the pair, the following error message appeared:



The same errors occurred on clearnet.
Why is the selected pair not available? edit: Oh, now I see I selected the same pair: XMR to XMR. Anyway, yesterday I tried to swap XMRxBTC and was getting error 502 with the screen all white.

Today it's calculating normally.

Unfortunately not, I didn't take a screenshot at the time, but everything went fine on all others occasions I needed to.

I'm impressed with your response speed, that's a very important positive point, congrats!

I have a question: I received coins with a relatively high AML score on sageswap and other swap exchanges, around 50-60%. If I use one of my UTXOs that has similar scores, can you refuse the swap or do you look at other factors?

Note: I'm getting high AML scores even withdrawing from licensed exchanges, so we can't always take these scores seriously, but unfortunately the big exchanges do.

We do not take AML score alone, but also other factors. If you send us coins and we are unable to process your transaction, you will simply receive a refund to the address you entered when creating the swap.

In general, it is always possible that you will receive a higher AML from us, but this is really rare usually, it should not exceed 25%.

Over the past few days, we have significantly strengthened our infrastructure. 
We are now capable of handling a much higher number of simultaneous transactions without the risk of delays.

Thanks to these improvements, we’ve reduced the probability of transaction delays by approximately 70%, which is a very solid result. 
Of course, this is not the end - we will continue to scale and reinforce our infrastructure even further.

In addition, many smaller and larger backend improvements have been deployed. 
Most of these changes are not visible at first glance, but they noticeably improve stability, performance, and overall reliability.

FAQ CHANGES:
Q: Do you accept stolen money?

A: No. We do not accept stolen money. Unlike many other platforms, we do not freeze user assets. If a transaction is flagged, we offer a full refund (minus network fees) with no KYC required.
However, if the OUTPUT of your swap is Monero, the transaction may still be processed for an additional fee of up to 2.2%. We strongly recommend contacting Support before proceeding with such a swap.
