Yes that can be true, but you know these betting platforms have different policies, it can be odd change and it can be another reason entirely.

Sometimes, when you chose some odds in different sections maybe one from live game and one from normal game, this message can pop up, and mostly it should be when the odds changed and the system had programmed another did entirely for that particular game you have chosen before you confirm your bet maybe when you are taking your time to confirm your bets before betting them.

it is no cause for alarm, it is just to tell you that there is a change in odds and after a while it usually corrects itself, you don't have to keep forcing it when it shows up, just give it a little time for it to be corrected. I have used sportybet before and I have noticed this several times.  in most cases some games on the bet slip are usually postponed that's why it displays odd not available at that moment

Perhaps you may not have experienced it yet but I’m certain about this experience as I have had it twice or thrice while attempting to place a bet, they do not automatically remove the bet which has been suspended but let you know for a minute that it has been suspended or send such messages like the op posted before you can then refresh and it probably be removed after refresh or you manually remove it because it’s suspended. Just try to place a bet one leagues they a so minor on sporty and maybe out of 10 attempts you will experience it.

Maybe we’re using different versions of Sporty   well then, the OP can try checking if there’s been a suspended or voided game and if there’s not and the problem persists, then we can be sure that that’s not the case, but I strongly believe that can’t be the issue to why the error message is popping up. Just like I earlier suggested, the best thing to do in this case would be to hit up their customer service for support, they’ll be in a better position to answer his questions, cos I doubt a lot of people on this thread would be able to provide him with any helpful answer since most may likely not be familiar with the particular casino in question.

2. He placed a bet on a game, but it didn't actually go in because they closed that game for betting. i.e., the game is about to start, or the game was suspended.
3. It's a long parlay, and some of the games are not in the list anymore, so it was not completed.

I often experience something like this mostly when the odds change. That is, when I've locked in on the odds and on the betting page to fill out the amount of money I want to spend on the bet, it happens that I took some time (could even less than a minute) deciding, by the time I finally make up my mind, fill the amount and click the "place bet" button, odds might have changed and I then get this type of error message.

There might be other causes maybe, but this which I explained above is the only situation where I've come across such an error..
And maybe another one could be when the potential winning amount is very high, maybe above what the casino can pay which is as a result of the odd and the amount of money spent on that bet, the casino could return a message like "potential payout too high" or "odds not accepted".

I think I have experienced this before when I was gambling, what I understand that causes this is if you as a gambler select multiple odds and it happened that during the time of placing bett, one of your selected odd have changed maybe it has increased or decreased or maybe one of the odd is no longer relevant to bet again in one of the selected games, for example if the selected odd has been locked before you want to place the bet. All you need to do is to check the odds again if there is any of them that you need to remove to make your game a stable one. After that you can rebet again and you have no issue or error message about odds.

Your first two answers are accurate but the third that was regarded as parley where most of the games have started or have been played may not really be the issue because what op showed is just one game bet and the odd of the game.

What I think is either of the two, maybe the odds are fluctuating as being updated going up and down because of the uncertainty in the outcome of the game from bettors request or the game has been postponed or removed entirely.

This not bad because it is something i have once experienced when i bet on sports almost every day before I take a few weeks break to avoid gambling addiction.

Based on experience, this response always happens to games thats not live and the playing time is getting closer, so the bookie algorithm always does some amendments to the match based on the trend, new possibilities arise for the underdog team to win, or the type of betting s/he wants to take is no longer available to the public.

The only reason which comes to my mind is the bookie itself assuming your friend could be trying to engage in arbitrage or some movement which is seen as against the terms of service of the bookie where he got that message.

IMO, the issue OP is facing isn’t really about arbitrage betting. Based on the situation, it looks more like he was trying to place a parlay bet on several matches, but one of the odds couldn’t be accepted. That usually means he picked a betting option that isn’t allowed to be combined in a parlay slip.

From my experience, the most common mistake is when someone selects two options from the same match in a parlay slip. For example, in Torino vs Milan, choosing Milan to win and double chance (draw or Milan win) in the same parlay. That’s obviously not allowed because it breaks the sportsbook rules.

I just wanted to know if your friend ever messaged the support? I know that he was able to bet after adjusting his selections but did he take his time to message the support team to see if they could give him some of the things that could possibly be the actual cause of such a situation in their site? So that when he’s making his pick next time he won’t add such games in his ticket. It would be a good to write to them and see what they have to say.

Ask the casino/betting site  support, but this shouldn't be coming from just selecting normal odds; there shouldn't be any problem with that. You are either trying to fulfill a bonus requirement or maybe some quest to win a bonus. I'm not too sure, though, but whatever it might be, you are better off asking the casino itself than seeking an explanation here with just a single screenshot

In some betting site, if you are using a bonus to place a bet, you would be given some conditions to be able to place your bet. Some times the site will require a minimum odd and a total odd to be able to place your bet. For example, in sports betting, they may require minimum odd of not less than 1.5 and a total odd of 6 , so if your odds are outside this range, you won't be able to place your bet. Apart from using bonus, if your selections are above normal, your bet cannot also be placed. Sometimes, it could be that you have selected a particular game twice or their is a change of odds. Some of this things I think can lead to such message.

I don't really know and from what I'm seeing there it is not even a life bet. Actually, I believe the reason why he got that message from the betting site is because the odd changed, it's either the odd increased or decreased.

If he is gambling on a bonus, then he has to select more games to meet the minimum that would be accepted for the activation the bonus amount. I can see some information pertaining boosting bonus down the page, so this is a clear issue of him not meeting the criteria to activate his bonus. He should read the terms and conditions to activate the bonus to know what is required of him. I don't think this has anything to do with odds change, that error message isn't for odds change at all.

No mate, that thing you see there always appears when you want to gamble on the platform, it's kind of the more games you are the more bonuses you accumulate. If his friend had a bonus on the platform it will not show that way. It's after you are done with selecting the games, while you want to put the amount you want to wager, all you have to do is click 'use bonus '.

There's nothing much here, you just need to check if your selection is still in other. Because that is only what can casus the error massage since betting sites have different rules it could be that you have exceeded their requirements.

This can happen to you if the odds you have selected has the same game multiple times. Casinos are scared to lose money to a single player multiple times and this kind of thing is also in their terms. You can not escape that even if you are lucky to bet it and the game came out as winning to you, the casino has the right to void the game because they find it to be against their terms and there will be  nothing you can do about this. This is why it is better for you to read terms of casinos to understand what decision they will take when something strange happens to you.

From the above images the odds has already change and you are wanting to place a bet, what you would do is that refresh the page and stake back the bet, although some betting immediately you refreshes then automatically you clear your games and you would have to start over again, so what to do is that open it in another tab and refresh it.

Maybe there are some changes in odds in the parlay you choose which has to be corrected, or refresh or remove it from the list, that's what it means.
Go back check in the predictions you have selected so far and then refresh or remove the games odds amount had been reduced or increased. Refresh or remove such game out of the parlays.

Have you tried suggesting to your friend that he adjust the odds he placed either raise or lower them, dude? Because I don't see any reason why it keeps failing. Or maybe there's a technical error with the platform itself. Or has your friend tried asking the casino's support team directly why his bets are turning out that way?

Have you asked your friend if he has chatted with the casino support regarding the issue he's experiencing? Because in my opinion, only the support team can provide the real answer
