Yesterday while I and my friend were betting at betking shop, my friend made a stake on away clean sheet in virtual game and the game end up goalless draw(0:0)

Frankly speaking, he thought that he had already lost his stake, but to his greatest surprise a winning was given to him. In case you was gambling on exact score in exchange (like betfair) any soccer games would be quoted not less @8-10 !

Their domains are also different Dean's uses .io, while Betking Shop uses .com. I initially thought he was playing on Betking, the platform that had scammed many investors but after looking into it further, it seems there is no relation at all when you compare the inteface of the sites.

It also seems that the OP placed a bet without fully understanding what they betting on. Fortunately, the bet won even though they confused about the result. A clean sheet does not necessarily mean the team must win 1–0, as long as the selected team and the opponent does not score at all, the bet is still considered a clean sheet.

Of course Betking isn't a scam site, it's as legit as betting companies go, they have been consistent since they started always paying their winnings in full, I've won a few bets there myself, though nothing too big but I've seen guy who won impressive amounts and their got their winnings payed to them in full, it's a good site for anyone who wants to explore gambling especially with the kind of presence that they have built in Africa over the years, also they allow you to gamble at the comfort of your home if you don't want to go out and you can also go to one of their betting locations if you prefer that one too so it kind of carters for different people with different betting needs.

It is not a mistake. I think your confusion may be because it was visual.

But the idea is just as you say a team has maintained a clean sheet for a certain time or streak. If you are maintaining a clean sheet it means you are not losing any match or have not lost your match over a certain time. And or the least you get is draw just as the case of your friend that the team got a draw. So it is still a clean sheet if you draw and or win. Obviously, if the team lost, he would have lost the bet.

Clean sheet in sports in general means not conceding a goal throughout the entirety of the game, this is mostly common in football, so a 0-0 draw is a good example of a clean sheet for both teams

I just heard this bet because maybe this only exists in betting on virtual games so I am quite unfamiliar with that bet but if you look at the exposure said by Kasabus indirectly in betting on soccer it is the same as BTTS No CMIIW.

If in the end the conditions are the same as that then it is not surprising when your friend gets the win in this match because of the goalless final result there.
It's just that in this case I want to ask why some people make bets for virtual because honestly even though it's almost the same as the original but I think it could be that luck is more emphasized in this bet than statistics or h2h because virtual is still a computer that does it and there is nothing we can see as a reference for betting including for statistics, h2h or even home / away matches as an initial benchmark.

It's quite a straight forward bet and not really sure how you're getting confused by it. If you bet on a clean sheet for a team and the opponent does not score against that team, then you win - it's irrelevant what happens with the rest of the score. As others have said, it's pretty lame to virtual bet on a football game like that, especially when you can find live ones at any minute of the day which will not be rigged against you like these virtual games are. Your friend might have randomly won this one, but the next 4 times he goes to play will likely lose because of the way these games are engineered. If all the people around you were equally confused by such an obvious result then maybe find a new bookmaker to up your game.

Clean sheet means no goal by your opponent. No matter how big the score whether it's 1-0 2-0 -3-0 as long as your opponent have zero score, you win. It's kinda weird you seem very unfamiliar with the clean sheet bet. Are you new in football betting?

I like to bet on "clean sheet". Mostly on "home or away team clean sheet", but sometimes I go for "home team win to nil". As others pointed out, this is a winning bet, there's no question about it.

Looks like your friend made a mistake... or he wanted to test his luck by betting randomly. Whatever it is, this time he won... and I guess he can try that "random" betting again, but I am not sure it would be a smart choice.

The confusion is understandable since there’s a popular casino here in the forum long time ago named Betking.io that established earlier than this current Betking that you are using.

He turn into scam when he decided to launch an ICO for his casino token that later on die including the casino that he claims go bankrupt.

A clean sheet is basically when a team prevents their opponent from scoring any goal in the entire match.. which means that since the match was goalless on both sides, both teams have clean sheet and so the winning was correct..

You did not understand how the clean sheet option works that was why you were confused. If you chose the clean sheet option, like away clean sheet, you are simply betting that home will not score any goal so irrespective of how the game end, so long as the home team did not score any goal, your selection is correct. You only lose your bet when the other team scores whereas you played the opponent clean sheet. It is actually a tricky bet which I rather love to avoid than take the risk because a team can easily get a goal in a match.
