Some people do waits for bearish season to invest in cryptocurrency why some waits for bullish season to invest in cryptocurrency, so I believe that in cryptocurrency we need to understand the protocols of cryptocurrency to know that people do invest in cryptocurrency of different type, neither short-term or long-term, so it depends of the targets and determination of the investors.

In the crypto world, there are vast type of coins or tokens. Some are only built for the short-term, while some are for the long-term but even for the long-term cryptos like Bitcoin, some people will still wait for the BTC price to rise before they invest, only for them to gain a confidence. I think there is no problem with that but they only want to make sure that they will also sell higher than it in order for them to make a profit. That is the protocol of investing or trading.

With the present situation of the crypto market, honestly, I am not expecting a Bitcoin price recovery now but anything is very possible in the crypto market, as it is unpredictable. Things have happened recently that many people did not expect. The market moved in a direction no one anticipated.October is usually a good month for the crypto market, but this time around everything has changed. Even the altcoin season we always experience seems to have happened without many people noticing, because Bitcoin’s price was increasing despite some altcoins. Now, people are still expecting another altcoin season.

So, things have really changed, and it seems that the crypto market is no longer following its historical data. With that, I believe anything can still happen in the crypto market. Therefore, we have to be very careful with any decision taken in the crypto market and always try to invest only what one can afford to lose.

For those that have not invested, then they have to hasten up and take advantage of doing so, this will help them to make use of the opportunity rendered now before the season come for selling, however, we should be more sensitive to what we invest if we don't want to end up being on loss, another aspect is for those that already have been into it already, to continue holding till the bull or alt season fully come for us.

If one has invested in dependent coins, then it would certainly be reasonable to keep it for a long time, but if one invests in normal coins among Altcoins in the joy of earning more money, then there is a high probability of loss. If it's about expectation, my expectation when this year ends is about a downtrend and that's the usual cycle that we go through, right?

So, if the bull run is done then that's what we should see next. Altcoin season was past and it happened already but many are in denial that it didn't happen.

It did actually and we've seen many alts like SOL moved that much and people ignored that. BTC went to $126k as the ATH and we thought it will be $150k and even more.

We'll see if 2026 is actually where the bear market starts as per 4 years cycle.

If we look back at this 4 years circle of a thing in the crypto space, then you will find that the theory makes a lot of sense because like it or not history has clearly shown that after every powerful bullrun then the next thing that follows is the downward trend! and Bitcoin surely hit some nice ATH all the way to $126k and another thing to really analyze is that Altseason kind of happened, although it was a bit selective and coins like SOL really make some big upward moves, just that a lot of people did not concentrate on the movement and if the circle decide to continue again as anticipated then surely 2026 will just be the actual start of the bear market so instead of assuming the rally will keep up for a much longer time, it is best to prepare for some serious price corrections.

I am not sure what historical data you are talking about. It's not mooning as much because it got already bloated by freaking president of US shilling it.

But it has only so much room to grow, as not all people aren't going to suddenly adopt it to every day use. Most probably never will. So how much room you thought bitcoin or eth had room to grow in this cycle? Top coins aren't going to be as volatile and 1000x per cycle aren't going to happen for them anymore.

And speaking about historical data, date accuracy of bull market stopping compared to past cycles was ridiculously precise. I am only amazed that altcoins aren't dropping faster.

Unfortunately it is true what he said. Many wait until price of bitcoin goes up before they start to invest when in reality they should be investing when it's going down. Because when the price is going up, it's already going up and you are late, you should not be investing when you are late, you should be investing BEFORE it goes up so that you could make some profit, otherwise it makes no sense to keep on investing when the price already increased and you are late and there isn't any profit left to be made.

A Bitcoin ATH is something we always expect of the market, so even if it doesn’t happen now, it’ll happen much later in another bull season. No sign of an altcoin season and also no sign of the market reaching another all time high in the cycle. Sometimes in the past we always get to see how the altcoin season comes after the Bitcoin dominance is decreasing, but in this bull season, there is no sign of such happening but we won’t be surprised if anything comes up of the market, either a bullish or bearish momentum should be accepted.

Honestly, i only expect bearish trend that may come soon. It's right some people are expecting another bull trend caused by they were taking the picture instead of taking the profit when btc peaked at 125k.

Yet, i doubt they will sell their asset even if we're see anther bump again, which is unlikely to happen.

I agree with you 100% people who got liquidated are expecting the bull run to continue next year meanwhile one of the OGs in the forum already gave me a hint in the WO that at the point where their will be so much expectation that’s when the market will reverse, and exactly how it happened. So I guess people who have clue and have experience already is exhausted in expectations from the bull run instead they are ready to buy more.

I expect another increase in BTC, hitting a new ATH and altcoin season. After that, I expected a downtrend. But watching the current market situation, I have doubts about the increase although there is a possibility that Bitcoin could rise.

This month, the price has not increased but decreased. But the trend is not down yet at least not too deep. This situation went sideways because the price remained at this level without rising or falling significantly.

First off, as I've mentioned in many topics, I want to clarify that I have successfully taken profits. I’ve sold all the BTC and top coins in my portfolio and realized about a 100% profit this season. I am now holding USDT and am sitting on the sidelines. My primary expectation is to see the market establish a clear trend soon.

What I observe in a lot of threads is that most people continue to hold and hope for one last uptrend wave this cycle, pushing the BTC price to 150K USD or even 180K USD. This hope persists despite the fact that BTC lost momentum after falling out of the 100K USD range. No matter how we analyze it, it looks like BTC has ended its uptrend for this cycle. It appears to be moving sideways now, preparing for a downtrend that could last for about a year and take up all of 2026.

I don't intend to try and convince anyone about a downtrend, as I gain nothing from it happening right now. I’m not trading on the Futures market to open an x125 Short position. I’m also not rushing to buy BTC before 2027. I am simply curious to know what everyone else is expecting and what foundation they are basing those predictions on.

Of course, a new ATH could absolutely come for BTC this December or in Q1 of 2026, as many KOLs predict, but I have no basis to put my confidence and capital into that low-probability outcome. The same is true for altseason. The market is not obligated to create an altseason just for altcoin holders to take profit and get rich.

The market trend on crypto is down because this is the stage where people spend money, they pull their funds out that is for sure, im expecting the market to be in a still for sleeping stage from now on, this stage is also a accumulating stage in my own opinion, January to may is the stage where traders are targeting low price coins because they know it will go up, and its a cycle it happens, the only thing that i can suggest is don't be too attach with a coin, because there are lots of coins to invest in, you will never be left behind, so dont be afraid, and invest what you are willing to lost.

So far, it's getting harder to get back to 100k mark price. The best bitcoin can do is bounce back up to 90k. Not saying that it's impossible, but seeing the past few attempts of it trying to recover it looked kinda hard to achieve. I mean the price is quite stable around 86k to 88k-ish as of now. Just a bit of dump from bitcoin, other alts got a heavy dump from it as well. For now the trend is pretty sideways and quite pumping up. Which is good. Especially if you already entry from the last drop.

Since October 10th bitcoin price has been on a downtrend till date despite the sideways movement we are still below $100k. If by next year January ending, bitcoin hasn't create a new ATH, the bears will take full possession of the market. I'm not expecting an uptrend because I'm already bearish. The probability of the bitcoin hitting an ATH is far more guaranteed than the altcoins because bitcoin is the leader and it is more reliable and kinda more stable than the altcoins, the altcoins can fall significantly and faster without any signaling and may not rise even when you think it will rise. Bitcoin is more reliable than altcoins.

In fact, when Bitcoin surpassed the $100k by the end of 2024, many altcoins and especially Memecoin experienced strong growth. There are memecoins like Pepe surged by thousands of percent, or Sol that has increased more than 50 times from its bottom. However, unlike in previous years, the growth did not occur with all altcoins, but only with a select few. Therefore, people don't consider it altcoin season. But in my opinion, that was the altcoin season, and it ended a long time ago.

Currently, many altcoins are searching for new lows, and Bitcoin is also not showing any positive signs. Therefore, in my opinion, waiting and hoping for an altcoin season is a waste of time and wishful thinking.

What I'm waiting for at this time in the crypto market doesn't really matter because I don't control the market neither does anybody that is very sure or quite sure of what they want to see. The market chooses to swing to which ever direction at any point based on the actions at that very moment which is hard to predict when any price can actually happen. What I can say is that unfortunately Bitcoin didn't meet my expectations in this last quarter of 2025, many if us had hoped that it will be bullish with a new massive ATH. If you are not in urgent need to sell I think it's better to buy and hodl throughout this dip because it's very possible that we are in bear run already. Predictability is not guaranteed in the market, investors only have one choice to choose, playing by the double rules, hold during the bearish run and sell at the bullish time. These things don't change, the challenge is with buyers who can't control how they feel about the market.
