Primarily because the God of Pajeets that is running campaigns for $50 is trying to twist the situation in order to justify his trust abuse. There is nothing to discuss about this part, a brain with working logic sees that right answer. The meaner you are, the less risk you pose. The nicer you are, the more risk you pose. Do you think that the Indian tech support scammers are telling our elderly people "you are a fucking stupid and retarded idiot, now go buy me a gift card"?  

When scammers are compared as a single group, the majority of that group are going to be smooth talkers. How is someone like me going to scam another person when I'm going to tell them that they are fucking retarded as soon as they make the first basic mistake?

People with such a terrible personality cannot be trusted at all. "words" reflect their personality. It's not about liking or disliking his words; it's about his personality. His personality suggests high potential for conflict, unfair reputational damage, or unreliable interactions, especially in a trust-based environment like the Bitcointalk forum.

Sorry for the late reply to this, obviously others have addressed the fallacy of this statement.  Suffice it to say that I disagree on principal.  It's been my experience that people who are brutally honest are indeed honest in general.

I even called out the forum staff recently, thankfully theymos would punish them if they ever did something abusive to act on their vengeful emotions. To make matters worse here, my words are pretty much always spot -- the insults are just words that beautify the content. Therefore, it is pure butthurt due to my choice of words.

I am also upset by the fact that I have been unable to get LauraV upset. I think she deserves a red tag for making me feel this way.   Maybe even I would consider that the inability to get upset suggests a high potential for unreliable interactions, especially in a trust-based environments or something like that according to somebody's genius reasoning.

Perhaps it's not the right word, I used it hypothetically, meaning that he's not simply targeting specific user he doesn't like, but it's his general attitude against others who disagree with his views. Anyway, I don't mind if someone has a different opinion, but I wouldn't call you stupid, idiot or a retard for not believing what I believe.

This topic has become a game of words, (not speaking about DireWolf14, but in general), some of us have a different perception of how someone should behave, others claim that it's not that important, it's a matter of principle and I personally don't like being a jackass to other people, whether that's over the internet or real life. There is this implicit assumption by weak minded people, uneducated people or people who get hurt by insults that you have to be angry to insult someone. This takes away users freedom of speech and goes against everything this forum stands for IMO.

There are x amount of signature campaigns running, then you have x amount of participants, and more campaigns that come every week or 2. Rarely do we see a dead period of more then a few weeks without another campaign opening.

Companies and managers want those campaigns full so word is being spread, but if we only accepted the best quality posters, only a few spots per campaigns would be filled. So some spots are taken by who you consider shit posters, but everyone has a different opinion of quality. Not everyone is going to be a scholar and write these perfect paragraphs.

Then you have to look at the payrates and your "quality" users likely earn more then regular medium/low quality posters. If companies weren't trying to save every penny they could, managers could attract more quality posters but even then you're going to have lesser quality posters in every campaign.

I agree with some of your opinions, but I do feel like you could express your opinion differently. I don't get butthurt but as you see some of these people do. Obviously you have already stated you don't care, but you'll attract more bees with honey. You're gonna do what ya want, just offering some advice.

My opinion is rather then give a positive trust to counter what you feel is an injustice, ~the user you feel is in the wrong and open a thread discussing what happened and see if the rest of us want to ~ them. Giving a false positive just doesn't seem like the right path. If you think about it, it's kinda the same as giving a false/incorrect negative. Using the trust system incorrectly.
