Most newbies must have heard about how most users are paid through participating in a signature campaign,so that could be the major reason for the rush.Though ranking up isn’t as easy as most newbies think it is,that’s why I always advise them to take out their time to do more of the reading instead of rushing to rank up in a twinkle of an eye.Indeed a newbie can’t know all the rules in one day because not all the rules of the forum are mentioned on the Meta board, you can discover most rules from your own findings on the forum. So you just have to flow along with the community and gradually you’ll get used to the system.
This is great advice since most new users make mistake of focusing on rewards such as signature campaigns without first having hint about community. These campaigns are not free money, businesses seek smart and helpful people, and so when beginner rushes up ranks by posting too much content of poor quality, they do not help themselves, instead, they make it less likely to be selected. It is not quick to rank up since you must gain respect and merit among others and this cannot be done within twinkle of an eye. Reading more and posting less at first you get to know unwritten rules and general vibe of forum, which makes you far more valuable member. It is better to survive in slow and steady manner and once you focus on adding real value other than just chasing money rewards will come later.
