We should have a thread we can report unmerited or low merited posts

I posted some posts like this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5567399.msg66139354#msg66139354 but no merit. I can still continue to make some other examples but no merits. There are still posts that merit sources are not seeing on this local board, it will be better if we have a thread that we can report unmerited and low merited posts.

It is very surprising that almost 90% of my merits come general board.

Do you think some people will make use of their alts to abuse it? Highly quality posts and serious members should be given the merits.

There is one currently run by the moderator [Request] Report Unmerited Good Posts Here, He opens it once in a while, maybe you should be attentive for the next time it would be declared open by him.

There are lots of posts I would term a good post but lacks merit, but dishing out merits is at the discretion of the person sending the merit and not you that made the post. What you may see as merit worthy may not be viewed as same by the next person, so keep contributing qualitatively, people still earn merit from the LB. I earn merit from both general board and LB, although a little more on the general board as well.

You also said 90% of merit comes from general board, maybe from you but Nigerian board has been leading with one of the top board that had the most merit every month. This is was the last report by Rikafip.

The thread was locked since August but this is December, that means the topic has been locked for more than 3 months ago. I saw the thread and the rank up thread that was pinned before I posted this topic. I posted this topic because I noticed it has been locked for more than 3 months.

I believe that you just joined this forum not quite long, because assuming you are old in the forum could have come across a thread that is regulated by the local board moderator and which i believe that the thread is locked now, with the reason best know to him, and talking about you making a posts yet  your posts not merited, there is know to panic about that because once you are able to post a quality posts and you have not merited, don't worry urself too much because there will be a day that someone will read your posts and like your contribution in that particular thread and you will be merited, so you should not be discourage of not being merited and very soon the moderator will soon unlock the unmerited thread so that you can post your unmerited posts and you will be merited immediately.

Actually not that I need the merit, but I am just thinking some people will be in my shoe and not getting merit from the local board which supposed to be friendlier than the general board but otherwise is that case.

I can easily rankup to the next rank even without the help of anyone on this local board but I just wish this board can be friendly to people that joined posting there.

If the purpose of the locked topic is because people are abusing it, it will be better to remain locked but let us see what Igebotz will post about it, some people will like to abuse the merits.

The thread was locked since August but this is December, that means the topic has been locked for more than 3 months ago. I saw the thread and the rank up thread that was pinned before I posted this topic. I posted this topic because I noticed it has been locked for more than 3 months.

The last time that thread was opened, you were not registered then. I think that was July and your account is registered on August,  he had more than 81 applications he attended to and guess he gave all eligible submissions merit. I remembered he was out of merit and had to wait to distribute merit to other pending applications.
He is the owner of the thread and he set up his rules, perhaps he had his personal preferences and reasons as to why he had not open it recently.


We have more than 4 source in this board, he isn't the only one obligated to do it. If the community agrees to do that then it's another thread can be created. However, Naija board has had alot of infiltrators pretending to be Nigerian and they are not. The last time Fruit contest and Naija independence art contest was done here, alot pretended to be Nigerians when in fact they are from other local board. Hope you can see Igebotz reason is justified.
