I agree with you that our fate largely depend on our own will and effort, we cannot put all the responsibility on where we birthplace just because we are poor. But it cannot be denied that the government plays an extremely important role in our economy. How will we develop if the government cannot provide good education, infrastructure or security? How will you grow and become rich if you come from a country with corruption, inflation, no job or worse, no internet?

Why do America or Western countries often have a high percentage of rich people and a better life than developing countries? Exactly, the country certainly providing opportunity or limitations but in the end what people learned and how they use which is more important. If you have skills, you can use your talents even from your native place. Running a business and providing jobs to the unemployed people of your own country is better than working under others.

Your point is based on realistic logic's and also showes a mature mindset. It is true that where you born its not matter but your hard work amd responsibility in work is really matters and history showes that many successful person comes from lower background areas but the move on and chose to work hard and decline and reached the highest level of success. I agree with that, and I say this because I have personally lived through this thing. I used to live in a town with not much development and stuff. I completed my initial education from there but for higher studies, I moved to a city because what I wanted to study was not available there at that time. So after moving from my hometown to a completely new place, which was a city too. We know how there can be so many differences in the lives of people who live in towns versus those who live in cities, so when I moved there, I felt like a complete stranger for so long.

However, over time, I started adjusting.
